Outsite Maramar is truly breathtaking. There is a view of the ocean from every room in the house where you can watch an absolutely magical sunrise and sunset every day. The rooms are huge, with air conditioning and a desk in every one. There is also an enclosed coworking space beside the kitchen with air conditioning. It is very relaxed, so be prepared for quiet time immersed in wildlife, or head down to Outsite Playa to meet others. It's located ~10 minute walk up a treacherous hill in the jungle (no stairs), so be prepared to spent $50-70 a day on an ATV. Trust me - I am athletic and I was starting to plan my day around how often I had to walk up and down. You will be dripping sweat if you do it during the day. My absolute favourite thing about Maramar is Josefina, the Community Manager. Josefina is incredibly responsive, warm, and welcoming from day one, Josefina has a rare talent for making everyone feel instantly at home 🩷 Definitely book this location!

This location is divine, heaven, pure bliss. The view is absolutely unbeatable, in the heart of nature. Maramar is a beautiful community and even with the steep drive up to the location, after a few trips on the ATV you feel really comfortable. I stayed at this location and then the playa location, and both have their plus'. Maramar is definitely the more beautiful of the two, If you prefer a view and environment more than walkability I would 100% recommend this location. The view from every level of the house is truly spectacular, you'll have a hard time even wanting to leave.

One of the most beautiful Outsites I have stayed at! It's located on top of a very steep hill, but the view is absolutely breathtaking and worth it. The space is very calming and makes you never want to leave. The people I met were great as well! Only suggestion would be if you want a more zen / chill experience, stay here; but if you want to meet / socialize / have proximity to everything, stay at Playa. Can't go wrong with either though :)

My stay at Maramar was everything I had hoped for and more!! The hike up the hill was worth it for the view. The house was extremely modern and stylish in its decor. I loved the open air kitchen and living space. Once in the comfort of my own room I appreciated the strength of the AC unit! Our house manager, Annie, was great getting me booked for several tours, arranging my cabs and getting me into my room early. Looking forward to my next stay with Outsite!!

From the minute I stepped into the house I was amazed by how it perfectly blended with the nature and the sea. I was lucky that on the same day the community manager offered to organize a barbecue and so I got to meet all the amazing people at the house from the very first minute. Rooms were very clean and you could hear the sound of the ocean and the birds in the background. The kitchen was also spacious, clean, and there is care with sustainability. The only downside is that you need to climb up multiple steep hills to get to the house and that can be challenging when you don't rent a car or are not comfortable to drive an ATV.

My partner and I spent just under 3 weeks at Outsite Santa Teresa in January and had an amazing experience. The house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed to sleep, eat, and work. Korneel also kindly went above and beyond the help us with everything from taxis, to tours, to food and activity recommendations. The best part for us was definitely meeting the other people in the house. Everyone was so fun and easy to connect with, and we had a great time cooking and exploring together. Ultimately a fantastic experience that we’d recommend to anyone.

Outsite Santa Teresa is a wonderful place to be. I felt at home right away. To start with, the space is quite beautiful. The open air layout has many places to hang, work and relax. The rooms were quiet when you needed it for work or for yourself. I was immediately welcomed by Korneel the community manager and by the others living there. The town is really cool, so much good food, yoga and surf immediately available. That hill is no joke though! You will probably want an ATV for at least part of your trip to make getting up/down easy. What a wonderful space to live/work in.

I loved my stay in Santa Teresa - the house is brilliantly set up with lots of different work stations. One of my favourite times of day was waking up naturally at sunrise and enjoying my coffee on a rocking chair on my balcony overlooking the ocean (and the same at night looking up at the stars). Being totally transparent, the hill is no joke - BUT don't let it put you off, I walked it several times a day for 3 weeks and it definitely got easier with time (that said, I do like a challenge), otherwise I recommend an ATV. I also felt very safe with it being a gated property with 24 hour security. If you're considering a stay, just book.
