Beautiful hotel villa in a beautiful location. Stayed here for 4 days to celebrate a wedding. Everything about the hotel was perfect from start to finish. The rooms are clean and spacious with amazing views of the sea. Food was excellent as was the service. Hotel staff were fantastic and always happy to help. Lovely pool and well kept gardens. Could find no fault. We will return. Thank you everyone for an amazing stay and even more amazing experience.

The villa Cheta elite is an excellent hotel with lovely staff especially Anna . The restaurant is really good with a new menu every evening. The pool area is very well appointed the one negative was that the beds were a bit hard. |The hotel isn’t in a very good location because you need to use your car to go anywhere.

Villa Cheta is a beautiful oasis in Maratea, elegantly decorated in Italian style with lots of history and charm, and with wonderful views across the bay. The room was very comfortable and again stylish. The new pool is fantastic for a dip but you can also walk down the steps to the little beach for a swim in the sea. The friendliness of the staff was exceptional, always smiling and keen to make our stay memorable. We had dinner at the restaurant two nights and we think one of our meals was a little bland, however we seem to be the exception judging from other reviews.

I was deliberating between staying in Maratea Borgo, in the mountains, or in Acquafredda, near the sea. I’m glad I chose Villa Cheta in Acquafredda because it was pure luxury! Our room faced the sea, overlooking the front terrace of the hotel which also was where we dined most times (except in case of rain, when we ate in the very pretty dining room). The room and bath were very finely outfitted with everything you need, including welcome A/C and black out shutters. Tastefully done and well maintained. The staff are all incredible, starting with Maria, Anna and Alessandra at the desk, all the way through the in-charge Angela, Davide, Lilia, and PierAngelo in the restaurant. I’m sure there were many others discretely involved in making our stay so relaxing, and I thank them all! The food was all divine and the breakfasts plentiful, as well as generous snacks to accompany your afternoon aperitivi! I loved the saltwater pool for our afternoon dips, especially after descending and then climbing the 183 steps down to the little beach right across the street! I happened to have a birthday while I was there and everyone was so sweet to me, with Maria and Angela especially going out of their way to make me feel spoiled. I can’t wait to return!

I was awed by the reception received at this lovely B&B, Villa Cheda. Davide brought up our luggage and then parked the car while Maria checked us in early. A light lunch was prepared especially for us as we arrived in the middle of the day, without having eaten lunch. The view from our very comfortable room was gorgeous and the service always exceptional. Maria helped in so many ways as did the entire staff. Always anticipating our needs and seeing that we had everything we might possibly desire. True luxury!

Lovely hotel filled with antiques and a good pool and beautiful well maintained garden. However one of the best aspects was the staff, from the reception to the ladies who look after the rooms to the restaurant staff - all simply charming. No sign of a manager so don’t know if they are all simply naturally superb at customer service. The only point which would have helped us is to have been given a better map and more details of interesting places to visit.

We could not have been made more welcome. Superb views from our balcony and every request accommodated. Receptionist Anna and Head of house angela were amazing. Has retained the old feel without losing quality. Food for breakfasts and dinner at night locally sourced and wonderfully presented.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Even in the last week of this season we felt very welcome. The beautiful ancient villa is very well looked after. It is very clean and well kept. The rooms are bright and have a stunning view. The pool is modern and with comfortabel sunbeds. The garden and the terrasses are beautiful with lovely plants and trees. All the staff is caring and you feel there love for the villa and the family who owns it. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all great! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
