We had the most wonderful stay at Marbella in Candolim, South Goa. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and kindness from the incredible staff—nothing was ever too much trouble, and their gentle, attentive hospitality made all the difference.||We stayed in the beautiful family room, which was spacious, spotless, and filled with charm. Surrounded by lush greenery and tucked just slightly off the beaten track, the hotel offers a perfect pocket of peace and quiet—a welcome contrast to the buzz of North Goa. It’s the ideal spot if you’re looking to truly unwind.||The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Every meal felt like home-cooked comfort with a touch of elegance.||And my absolute favourite part? Sophie, the resident house dog. She’s an absolute sweetheart—gentle, affectionate, and the perfect finishing touch to an already perfect stay.||We left feeling rested, fed(!) nourished, and already planning our return. A true sanctuary.

A truly tranquil stay. Sejjan and his staff made our time very worthwhile. He organized everything we asked for and gave us precious tips on what to do and how to. The rooms in this beautiful house are spacious and very comfortable. The food served was always freshly prepared and super tasty. The terrace where the food is served is nicely surrounded by greenery with a huge Jackfruit tree in the center. The location is a bit off the beaten path but that’s the exactly what we were looking for. A 10 minute walk to the clean beach with watersports and plenty of shacks that offer sunbeds was very much acceptable. Thank you Marbella team for making our stay a memorable one.

The initial takeaway when arriving here is how friendly all the staff are. They will go out of their way to to help you wherever they can.||Our room had a private veranda with fridge and was very comfortable to sit out in due to lots of shade. When the temperatures approached 40c it was still fine to use.||The bathroom is traditionally styled with a sunken oval bath with shower. Good temperature and water pressure. The bed came with mosquito nets which were invaluable. There is a TV in the room however we never used this so can't comment further.||The property owner does have a lot of dogs which usually keep their distance. If you decide to walk to the cliffs though they will likely join you for some exercise. We did this early morning and had a pack of 7 for company which was nice !||We had a variety of food from the menu from a simple late night toastie through to local curries and seafood. All the food is prepared from scratch by the kitchen staff and this is demonstrated by the excellent quality. ||I recommended the prawns at the previous accommodation and this place also knows how to cook seafood. We had Tiger Prawn and Calamari fried up with nothing more than butter and (lots of) fresh garlic. Simply delicious and I highly recommend.||Overall you won't be disappointed with this accomodation.

Absolute gem in Goa. The house is located near the beach (7min walk), but far enough to not get the main road and noises. The house is so beautiful and close to the jungle that it feels like a more authentic experience compared to most hotels. The food is freshly made and very good and healthy and the staff is super kind. Beds are comfortable, there are only a few rooms so it feels very private and almost like a holiday house. I feel lucky I found this place to stay. I stayed 4 days and two days I didn’t leave the hotel because it felt so peaceful. Thanks to the whole team 🙏

We stayed 4 nights and didn't want to leave!!! It's a great location on a lovely residential street. We were in the Rajasthan suite on the ground floor. Only small negative is that the shower/bath is sort of spherical so if you have mobility issues try another room. However the suite was huge, comfortable and the shaded garden with fridge was just amazing. The walk to the cliffs with the dogs was such a great experience - they just love the human companionship but leave you alone at dinner. Speaking of eating, the food is cooked from scratch when you order and is incredible. No need to go anywhere else which is good because Candolim is a wee bit 'bargain Brits abroad'. Easy to get around - just wander down the street to the junction. We always found a taxi or auto here straight away, but you can also ask a member of staff. We did the E-Bike tour from the Taj and obviously the beach and forts are very close by. Great area to potter about in. You can also take a taxi to the ferry for Panjim (approx 20 minutes, 500 Rupees). Top Tip: Order the seafood the evening before (they get it fresh) the next day.

From the beginning to the end we couldn’t of been more welcomed and looked after. |Sajjan and all of the staff were so attentive and accommodating. We stayed in the Rajani suite which was amazing( see photos). It was so spacious, clean and decorated in a tasteful way. |The guests house has a very relaxing atmosphere away from the busy places. It a 10 min walk to beach were there are many bars and restaurants with sun beds. |There’s a breakfast menu with lots to choose from with many hot drink opinions.

Described as a “guest house” and quite rightly so because you really feel like a guest while you’re staying. Being at the end of a road means it is beautifully quiet and only having six rooms makes it feel like a family lodge. The staff are friendly and very helpful, night and day, keeping the rooms clean and common areas tidy. Special mention to the kitchen; every meal is freshly prepared and lovingly served in the shaded courtyard garden. All in all, the property is perfectly situated for all that Candolim has to offer, including kilometres of sandy beach and I’d recommend it to anyone.

We had an amazing 4 night stay at Marbella Guest House. The house is located at the end of a road so it is nice and quiet outside. The house is amazingly beautiful, same counts for the rooms. The garden has a variety of exotics plants which we loved (it is also the breakfast/lunch/diner area). Staff was beyond amazing. They were friendly, super helpful, gave us lots of tips for Candolim and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend Marbella Guest House to anyone.
