One of the best and cleanest marche in Paris in the 18th arrondissement. If you looking for generous and fresh fruits and vegetables, you can find them in here. Although the price is a bit more expensive than the Barbès. It’s also complete with butcherie, fromagerie, vin shops, Marocco and Libanaise cuisine, also a little boulangerie. But for meats and chicken I think better and fresher if you buy from Barbes.

My wife and I have been to this market before it does not disappoint. We have eaten food here on 2 occasions and have been delighted. Today we came across a boulangerie where we were blown away by the ladies products great patteserie amazing orange juice also great coffee. Amazing price too well done. Thank you.

On a quiet Sunday afternoon, shoppers of all ages can be seen dining, shopping for ingredients, picking up free books or sipping fruit drinks or coffee. On this particular Sunday, not all the shops were open which was strange considering the great location. Given its proximity to the main stations, it’s surprising it doesn’t attract more tourists. Most clients seem to be locals. The vicinity is a diverse area with ethnic shops from African and Middle Eastern heritage, money changers, and general goods stores. Inside the market, many stalls had built in seating for dining on the spot. The main dining area provides additional seating for clients buying from any food stall. The selection was limited as it seemed like there was one of any one kind of cuisine/products. Great place to get away from the train station and have some quality food and some tranquillity.

Very nice traditional French covered market with a good selection of fresh food stalls and attractive florist stand. Everything appears fresh and delicious. Well worth popping in if you are in the area.

I love this classic market. Visited it often in November 2022, always had a great experience. Today however the young man selling fruits and vegetables at the Bio market was no match for the kind older man from before. The peach he chose for me had a huge worm hole and was 1/3 rotten. On purpose? One will never know, but I recommend you steer clear of him.

Yelp
Marche Couvert St Quentin is a modern, open, indoor market with a mix of restaurants and grocers (fruit, vegetables, meat) located very close to St Vincent de Paul cathederal and Gare de L'est train station. None of the restaurants were open when we came around 10:30 am on a Wednesday, so instead when to a bakery to pick up croissants and donut bites (beignets). Everything was so good, especially the beignets filled with rich milk chocolate (for 0,5€ only). We got some mandarin oranges from a nearby fruit vendor, and made an interesting brunch. There was plenty of seating at that time of day. The oranges were sweet and juicy..haven't found bad fruit in Paris yet.

Yelp
INDOOR, more permanent, farmer's market type deal! i was expecting a bit more.. but the place was dead & not the cleanest place... i saw some flies & mold in one of the cheese cases.. although a different cheese store & the butchers looked top notch! --Au Du Marche: wonderful cheese shop where we got roquefort UNPASTEURIZED.. not available in America!! MMmm so creamy & good! they apparently also offer cheese classes --Bierissime: specialty beer shop w/ a HUGE selection of bottled beer.. i wish i knew more about beer to see what types i should bring home for friends.. but im not a beer drinker so the only thing i recognized was a flavor of Lindemann's lambic that i haven't tried.. Faro!! they also have fresh fish & fruits here!

Yelp
Coming from Toronto, there is a tremendous market: st Lawrence market.. This one is a weird design, lots of empty stalls. There is an excellent croissant spot. Good stop in for some meat and vegetables. Proximity to gare du nord is helpful.
