On a quiet Sunday afternoon, shoppers of all ages can be seen dining, shopping for ingredients, picking up free books or sipping fruit drinks or coffee. On this particular Sunday, not all the shops were open which was strange considering the great location.
Given its proximity to the main stations, it’s surprising it doesn’t attract more tourists. Most clients seem to be locals. The vicinity is a diverse area with ethnic shops from
African and Middle Eastern heritage, money changers, and general goods stores.
Inside the market, many stalls had built in seating for dining on the spot. The main dining area provides additional seating for clients buying from any food stall. The selection was limited as it seemed like there was one of any one kind of cuisine/products.
Great place to get away from the train station and have some quality food and some tranquillity.
