Marche Des Saveurs Gaspesienne

Great collection of gourmet grocery items. A lot of it is imported from Europe but a large selection, especially cheeses, are local. Worth a visit when you're in town.

Wish I could put 6 stars!!👍👍 A hidden gem un Gaspé. The coffre is always great with a nice selection of desert. These staff is great and the service is top notch!

Most stuff here is not special (just the fancy-ish groceries you find in any such store) but there is an area with lots of local foods. We did not try the attached sandwicherie.

Excellent service and wide variety of goods from prepared sandwiches and coffee to everyday grocery items, highly recommend stopping in.

It was amazing our visit in this store, the girls were so kind and the cheese is delicious. You must visit this place.

We were there around 5.40pm, they said that their oven wasn't working, just got coffee.

Marché des Saveurs is primarily a small grocery store with a range of items including bread, cheeses (quite a large selection of cheeses actually), bakery items, packaged meats and fish, beer, etc. In addition to the grocery items, they also serve food (limited menu) during the lunch hours which daily lunch specials. On our visit, we decided to our two lunch specials in addition to buying some bread, cheese, and dessert to take back to our hotel nearby for dinner. The food was tasty but the portions were a bit small for the price. From a tourist perspective, the grocery store part makes it a convenient place to go to grab items to make your own meals. For the restaurant side of things, I'd stick to lunches as the portions are just a bit too small for dinner (especially if you spend the day hiking in the park :-) ).

Get the smoked meat & home-made potato chips. Closest thing you'll get to a Montreal smoked meat sandwich in Eastern Quebec.
