This open air market is one of our all time faves in Paree, second only Marché De Joinville in the 19th which is a long walk for us, however, popincourt is close and very cheap fresh fruit and veg is to be had, if you have the time to walk up and down the many stalls.

It is pretty complete variety of shop, such as cheese, seafood ( a few), butcher, and fruits and veggies…as usual very fresh quality…

One of the greatest street market in Paris Tuesday and Friday morning. At least 4 fish stands, butchers, vegetables and fruits, bio or not, so many choices. I usually go back to my favorite sellers that are most popular for freshness and their relation to French farms. You can enjoy fresh oysters on the market itself as they will be prepared for you with a glass of white wine if you so desire. People watching is fun in addition to all the good food displays. This is a fun outing and I love getting the food in season following the natural cycle of life.

Open Tuesday and Friday mornings, closing early afternoon. Numerous produce stands, a few butchers, cheesemongers, and fish guys, basically everything you need for a good meal. Most take credit cards for larger purchases, but cash is king.

My favorite market in Paris. Small but you can find anything you need!

Yelp
This is literally the greatest market I've ever seen. I am floored that such a comprehensive and breathtaking array of stalls and stands and deliciousness is set up and broken down twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays) in the middle of a boulevard. Everything you've ever wanted to eat is here. Of course they have all the fresh fruit, and all the fresh vegetables, up to the impeccable standards I've come to expect in Paris. But this is no mere farmer's market. There are huge glass cases packed full of sausages and steaks and chops. There are artfully arranged displays of fresh fish, eels, lobster, shrimp alongside vast arrays of olives, nuts, and mixed grains. If you aren't into cooking at home, there are sausages grilling, soups heating, pastas in pans, and so much more prepared food. There are meats baked into pastry crusts, ready to be sliced and shoved into my mouth, patés baked into pastry crusts, pastas and more being cooked, and the finest charcuterie you can find anywhere. And then there's THE CHEESE. There are multiple different stands at this market that could all be the finest cheese market I've ever known all on their own...and again, they just put this thing together out of nothing on Tuesday and Friday mornings. It's insanity. I want to move to Paris just so I can do all my shopping, and perhaps just live inside this paradise of edible delights.
