I’ve had Pad Thai in the USA (California and Las Vegas), Germany (Hamburg and Kiel), and now here in Bruges, August 11th, 2025. I went for shrimp, my fiancée for chicken. The taste was a bit different from what I am accustomed to, but in all the right ways. Ive never had Pad Thai with Peanuts, but everything just clicked. sweet, tangy, savory, and I cleared my plate fast, even though it was still hot. Service was quick and friendly despite the place being packed with heavy accents be it British, Spaniard and Californian in English. I worked six years in kitchens on a Vacation Island in the north of German (brutal), and I don’t hand out this sort of praise often, but they earned it. Only gripe? The restroom’s tiny — one-person-at-a-time tiny. Still, this place is a must visit.
