The food here was delicious, we didn't have to wait long to be served and get our food. The price is great for the food one is getting. The staff was so lovely, translated for us (the menu is in German) and could adjust almost all the dishes to be vegetarian. Really recommend eating here, or you might be more interested in the items they sell here!

We went and had the truffle brunch for 99 EUR p.p. not including the various beverages we ordered. Whilst the waiters weee extremely friendly I can positively say that I have never encountered someone more rude than the owner of the establishment. We had a look at the books at display and were yelled at and told off being told and yelled at across the room to handle them carefully - mind you I’m a grown up person simply having a look while contemplating a purchase. In addition to that my friends toddler was there as well and the owner send over a server to ask us if there medicine the baby was holding was theirs or ours (this is a restaurant and not an apothecary- wheee would the toddler get the medicine package if not from us). Allover this created a very hostile environment and we felt very unwelcome. Which is outrageous considering that we paid around 150 p.p. For mediocre food and terrible treatment.

The food we had was quite excellent. Maybe a bit on the lower end in that specific price bracket but still excellent. We had 5 courses and two were stunning, two just good food. Only the desert (crepe suzette) was quite lacking. the crepes very doughy and thick, while the sauce lacked the typical nuances. But otherwise I can only recommend it. The service, on the other hand, was outright attrocious. We ordered one wine pairing and I went without. During our meal, we literally received like 10 questions asking about drinks from different waiters. When you have a wine pairing and water on the table, the question "can I offer you something to drink" feels very weird. The glases were also exchanged randomly. For the main course alone we literally received 4 different glases that were exchanged one after another. Even though I did not have a wine pairing, they would sometimes place the wine on my side, leaving my partner without one. Then they would take away my glass, but leave the (now empty) glass from my partner standing. Some of the guests where asked whether they wanted coffee along with their desert, others were skipped. The time between the courses was also unusually long. We had 5 courses and it took almost 3 hours. 30+ waiting between courses - without offering any lil sherbets or so - is taxing the limit quite a bit. It was also very weird. Like they would ask us: "would you like to have your main course now or rather wait a bit?" We said we'd like it right away but then sitll waited 35 minutes. The overal athmosphere of the venue is...well I would say interesting. It's basically a shop and at the end there's a private room that is decorated quite eclectical. It's no high end interior design and a lot of it is a bit more on the cheaper side but otherwise somewhat charming. It's not without alure but the tables are just too close together. There was literally a table 50 cm to either side of us. That might be okay for a busy café but sitting 3 hours next to strangers hearing their every word...well that was interesting. So overall, come here for the food but don't really expect a lot more.

Great concept store. Warm atmosphere and high quality products. Wide range of none-alcoholic wines

Today I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch in the Marco Simonis (Dominican Bastion). The interior is very appealing and the staff is very competent and friendly. Regarding the choice of food, I wavered between the truffle toast and the Egge Benedikt at the beginning. After a brief consultation with the courteous waiter, I received the recommendation for the Egge Benedikt. and I would not be disappointed. in my opinion these eggs benedict are the best in Vienna at the moment. the bread provides the right basis, the ham is of an unbelievably good quality and is perfectly prepared. the eggs are on Point and the souce ... the souce is the icing on the cake and makes this dish so awesome.

Food was very expensive for the “brunch” option. 59€ for basic brunch ,drinks not included is a rip off. The food took very long to arrive and wasn’t appetizing. I won’t recommend this place there are better tasting ones in the area with a much better price.

What a nice, cozy and elegant place for coffee and brunch! It combines the delicatessen with the modern classic decoration. We loved it!

So gees, if you want to go somewhere that makes Naschmarkt seem like the cheapest place on Earth, go here. Looks nice, bathrooms clean and spacious. Food is fine but does not taste great at all when you get the bill. For example, think 12 Euro panini. Yes, its not an actual panini and the ingredients can be fresh but still... you can buy your date a panini looking sandwich and no drink, or take her to the movies with popcorn. Your choice. Skip!
