This movie theater is always consistent: cleanliness, food, and service. Using the app to purchase tickets is easy, or you can purchase tickets at the door. They have recently got new seats (reclining). The prices for concession items are average. They do have combo meals that you save a dollar or two. They do have a full bar and hot food. The parking lot is large and has dedicated handicapped spots. The theater is hidden, so use your GPS. Update with Screen X. First movie in this theater. It was very interesting. I thought it might be distracting or to much to take in. The side viewing only came on in parts that were to be immersive within the movie. It enhanced the action. I wouldn't see every movie in this format. Possibly action movies or could be good for an animation.

Went to see Fantastic Four... THE MOVIE WAS GREAT... Screen X was trash and not worth the money... the sides were blurry and were not aligned well with the main screen... it was a gigantic distraction and took away from an otherwise great film... NOTE... I still enjoy seeing UltraScreen DLX movies at the Marcus... that experience is worth the time and money...

Google
Amazing theater. It's a huge building, the size of a supermarket. The sound and picture quality are top notch. The reclining seats are the best. The staff are nice too.

Google
Our first time here, and we really enjoyed the Screen X. The pizza was good and the staff was friendly.

Google
this theater does have the bigger seats but it has a leathery feel so a bit sticky. i think normal movie theater seats are perfectly fine though so its not a huge deal to me and they are a little too big for me anyways. a little on the warmer side today. free popcorn on tuesday if you sign up on the rewards on the app (free to sign up). toilet is too close to the door in the bathroom 😆 parking lot was pretty full in an evening showing, had to look through 4-5 rows of the parking to find a spot and a friend had to park outside the lot

I get more and more disappointed in Marcus with each trip. Prices seem to go up and quality goes down. Maybe if they spent more time cleaning the seats, and theaters. As they did stationing people at the front to stop someone from bringing in water. Everything wouldn’t be so sticky and gross. My most recent trip was so gross, the seats and railing were disgusting. I’d recommend going to a local theater, or waiting till movies come out at home, and get a projector.

Google
Screen and sound were excellent but has this place ever heard of central air? From the lobby to the theater it was just as hot as outside. I'm average size and I started to sweat in the theater 17 watching Jurassic park. With alot of people and no cool air coming through, it was uncomfortable and hot movie experience. By rhe way, there been a heat warning/advisory all week long and the theater shouldn't be a sweat box. Picture quality and sound were good as always. Popcorn was good. Turn on the AC!!

Google
We went to see Mustafa and we got stuck in a theater with a bunch of people who were on their phones, talking, getting up and down and generally just being super disrespectful to everyone in the theater. I joke you not, at one point I counted and there were six different people on their phones scrolling through various apps (why you’d spend $15 on a movie to be on your phone is beyond me). These people also were having full blown loud conversations for several minutes and shouting at each other across the theater in the middle of the movie and nobody did anything. This place has gone down hill so much the last few years. The popcorn is always dry, the theaters are always dirty/gross, the people who come here a rude and/or inconsiderate, the lines are always super long and the food is never even close to worth what they charge for it. After this last visit where I missed at least half the movie due to inconsiderate, belligerent people, I will never waste my money here again.

Yelp
Still my favorite theatre, but I still wish the ticketing system/entry was easier. You're supposed to be able to take the digital ticket from the app directly to the ticket taker to scan, but no. I tried to do that last night, but was told to go to the end of a long line of people buying tickets! Why do they not, at minimum, have a line for those who already have tickets and a separate line for those buying tickets? And please, turn on the heat in the winter. Brrrr!

Yelp
Good morning, Yelpers! Here's my review of Marcus Crosswoods Cinema's bar/restaurant located at 200 Hutchinson Ave, Columbus, OH 43235. Last night, I went to see the documentary comedy "AM I Racist?", which came highly recommended. My showtime was 9:40 p.m., and I arrived at the cinema around 8:50 p.m., so I decided to dine at the theater to ensure I was on time for the movie. I sat at the bar and ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and some buffalo boneless hot wings. The Long Island was strong and pretty good--after all, it's hard to mess up a Long Island, though some bartenders manage to! The bartender was great--super chill, attentive, and quick with my drink order. Now, here's where things went downhill: I waited about 40 minutes for my six-piece wet, soggy boneless wings. The bartender checked on my order at least twice, so I know it wasn't his fault, but the long wait for soggy wings was a disappointment. When my pager finally buzzed, I picked up my order, and unfortunately, it didn't meet expectations. The total came to $30.00, plus a $5.00 tip, for what turned out to be a $6.00 movie on half-off Tuesday. My suggestion to fellow Yelpers: stick to the pizza until the kitchen makes some improvements on the wings.

Yelp
Great venue to watch your favorite flicks. I have been going there for years. The seats are super comfy recliners and the popcorn is great!

Yelp
I'm a Cinemark Rewards member, but I LOVE to come to Marcus Theaters for some smaller movies Cinemark doesn't get. I'll even skip Cinemark so I can see some epic movies on their Dolby Atmos DLX screen (Dune 2 - WOW ) Haven't tried any of the food but it looks and smells like a big step up from most theaters. The restrooms and the theaters are usually very clean.

Yelp
So my TTN circle of lady friends posted a pop up get-together to see a movie a few months back. I had not been to a movie post-COVID and didn't know what the movie they picked was about. However, it was a Sat afternoon for $5. How could it go wrong. I took a wrong turn or but eventually got to the theater with plenty of time to spare. I had reserved a seat online which was new to me. But - whatever. I stood in line to get food just SHOCKED at the prices. However, I had planned to suck it up and get some popcorn for the price of my firstborn. Unfortunately/fortunately, the line moved so slow, I decided to bail and get to my seat while the house lights were on and keep my firstborn - going hungry without popcorn. Probably a good call. OF COURSE - the heavy person that sat right besides me in an OTHERWISE EMPTY ROW (WTF!?) had the biggest bucket of popcorn I've ever seen. Probably cost her $150. Needless to say, she didn't offer me any. The good news - the seats were AMAZING! Better than our leather couches in quality and twice as roomy as our lazy boy. I was in HEAVEN. Except for having someone sit next to me. But at least the seats were so HUGE, she was not that close to me. I was in the last row in the front section. I took a chance as it was rather close up to the screen, but the row was empty when I bought the ticket and that's my preference since I couldn't sit with my friends. The distance was great! not too close and close enough for near-sighted me (blind even with contacts LOL). The movie was the Everything, Everywhere, All at Once - or something like that. It was a bit violent and graphic at times - which I learned later caused one friend to walk out - but I just shut my eyes for it. It also had some rather immature humor - but I otherwise absolutely LOVED it. As it turns out, my friends who stayed for the whole thing did NOT like it. They are older and apparently have different taste than me. I like complex movies that make you think - and this was up my alley as it also had some humor and definitely good acting. Will I return to this theater - ABSOLUTELY. I have raised my hand to host my own pop up movie event. I will pick the exact same theater - the dream theater or something - and also pick a $5 event. And I will not buy the popcorn then - I'll smuggle in my own!!! I only wish this was closer to Gahanna where I live!

Yelp
How have I not reviewed this? I think I have and it disappeared. Whatever. I don't go to movies much anymore. This one is handy. And $5 on Tuesdays. Sound is good. Seats are comfy. Place is clean. Service is great. Food is outrageous, of course. Get a combo, more than you could ever eat, to save some money I guess. The movie experience was great. Perfect sound and picture. Big seat with cup holder. Plenty of legroom.

Yelp
Nice clean seating in comfortable seats. Popcorn is always and everyone working there is always nice and friendly and make you feel comfortable and welcome

Yelp
This is our go to movie spot. The past 2 times (1 month apart) we have come the Diet Dr. Pepper fountain drink isn't working, despite it being available to purchase on the app for pick up before the movie. They should take it off the app if they can't fix the problem.

Yelp
Family of 20, Christmas day tradition, management moved the film to another theater, messed up our tickets, would not move the folks who were in our seats, we bought $100 worth of popcorn , soda etc,. (FLAT beer, Flat soda. VERY expensive) After 20 of talking to manager, we simply asked for refund and free pass to come back , since we missed the beginning of the film . The stupid manager with long hair, Nate or something , argued with us and told us to leave with nothing. The worst movie , holiday experience so far.We were treated like criminals. The jack ass was yelling at us for NO reason. Do Not give them your money!! There are plenty of decent movie theaters to go to with trained staff to service you. Our 20 person family and friends will NEVER go to MARCUS Cinema ever again. They are the worst. STAY AWAY!!!!

Yelp
Went to go see Wicked. A little worried as my last experience at a movie theater was bad, this didn't disappoint. First, no heat. It was around 64 degrees. Everyone in theater complained, didn't matter. Second, the women's bathroom was gross, according to wife and mother. Half the stalls didn't work and no water to wash hands. Lastly, people using their phones, I just don't get how or why people are so inconsiderate.

Yelp
Went to see eternals with some friends last night. I have always liked Marcus cinemas between this location & pickerington I have not been disappointed. The 5$ movie Tuesdays are awesome & if you become a member (which is free) you get a free small popcorn & some other discounts. So yesterdays experience lived up to the expectations on my end. My boyfriend wasn't impressed with the audio of the theater we were in But other than that I'd say the whole experience was just as good as all of my other ones :)
google avatar

Maddie R.

Yelp
Was a huge fan and movie club member for about a year but recently they changed movie Tuesdays and seem to be incredibly money hungry along with a more unfriendly unwelcoming staff than I have experienced in the past. Moving my business to Cinemark.

Yelp
We went on a Tuesday for the matinee and $1 popcorn. The popcorn is great, you can add the extra butter sauce or skip it. It's still quite buttery even without! I love the seats at the Marcus theater. Although I didn't get a picture of them, they are so roomy. You don't share an armrest and cup holder with your neighbor. And they have electric recline functions. You can stop the recline in a place that's right for you. So comfy! Just try to stay awake after a long day at work! I think my only complaint was that it was really cold in the theater. We went in the winter and ended up keeping our bulky coats on, because we were chilly.
google avatar

Amy G.

Yelp
I used to love this movie theater-NOT during a pandemic! What's the point of having "MASKS REQUIRED" posted on multiple entrances when many people were inside not wearing them. Some concession stand workers were not wearing masks! No social distancing even with assigned seating! WE WILL NOT BE BACK.
google avatar

Nadira Y.

Yelp
My most favorite theater. I go here for all my movies. Definitely sign up to be their rewards member, it is free!! With the Marcus membership you can waive the extra fees when purchasing tickets through their mobile app or online. For every $100 you spend here, you get $5 cash to spend on next tickets or even at the concession stand. Love watching our movies on their $5 Tuesdays! Usually, always watch something on the ultra screen, which on Tuesdays is also just $5, no extra charge. Members also get free popcorn. $6 student Thursdays are great too to see the newest movies. Only difference is that ultra screen hall is not $6 but more expensive. Free popcorn given on this day too. My love for recliners started here. They have the most comfortable seats and seating style in my opinion. Apart from the concession stand, they have a pizza place and full on bar. One thing I don't like is the road getting to the theater, seriously has the worst potholes year round.

Dara J.

Yelp
I watched the manager allow multiple people skip the long line. I walked over to him to ask why he let them ahead of everyone else, he said "manager's privileges" using air quotes. Everyone was watching in disbelief.

Yelp
Comfy lounge seating and great sound systems. Great to get seating tickets ahead of time!
google avatar

Rich G.

Yelp
Great prices- but hopefully the way they do concessions will change back to the old way, and soon. You must order all concessions online, and while that may be great in advance- it was a hassle as you stand there, with no line, waiting for the app to work while you could just pay one of the two people waiting for you right behind the counter. $5 & $6 movies are great- but the experience would be even better with just a bit of thought from the customer's perspective. You want people back in the theater? Want to keep us coming back? Do like almost every retail establishment does (Post June 21 Covid protocols) and run concessions like Wendy's, McDs or Starbucks does. Yes you can order ahead, online, but offer at the counter service too. Like you and everyone else did for years before.
google avatar

Yelp
I like the online ticketing and seat reservation system for this theatre. Ordered online and just scanned a QBR code at a kiosk in lobby. Easy! The nice thing about these theaters is that all of the seats have a good view of the screen and the chairs are super wide and comfy. They have the reclining ones with the snack tables. Popcorn was pretty tasty, although could have used more butter. They do have a full bar and a seating area with a giant screen TV for watching sports. They had a couple of fun specialty cocktail creations in honor of current movies showing. There is always plenty of parking in the lot, and two doors down is a yummy sushi place previousy reviewed (Sushi Ko).
google avatar

Samantha B.

Yelp
Pricing is high at all movies. So that is neither here nor there. But the wait time to get food/snacks and there is only like 5 ppl in here is too long. Plus they need more lighting. It's pretty dim in here.
google avatar

Casey G.

Yelp
I don't go to the theater often but when they show Disney's Little Mermaid and can buy alcohol at the same time, I'm in! Marcus Theaters is doing a weekend $5 Disney weekends right now. They are awesome! My sister and I have been to two of the four movie weekends so far. We go at lunch time and get a pizza and snacks. The theater also offers other food options and a bar. The seats recline and are comfy. This is the way movie theaters should go now. I love that you can go and relax with friends and family.
google avatar

Anna H.

Yelp
First movie outing since Covid, and it went well. My daughter purchased tickets on the app, and they prefer you also pre-order food and drinks as well, but we declined. Masks were worn, and since it was a noon movie, the theatre was pretty empty. I felt it was very clean and I would return. They have reserved, reclining seats.
google avatar

Yelp
I love Marcus Cross-woods it's the best theater I have been to and I very much enjoy coming here and the staff are very very sweet people who take your complaint very seriously and managers are also very nice and are always working hard to keep costumers and their employees happy , definitely recommend coming here for the best movie experience and costumer service :) What I can say is that there are a lot of stuck up in-titled people who take it very personally about the pricing and the service I've come here all the time and anytime I see any kind of encounter with people who get mad at the staff it's really them being rude to the staff and then pretending to be the victim. Please remember movie associates work here at the edge of minimum wage and do not get money from the movies so please be considerate of others and if you can't for the food that is not everyone's problem that is your own, blame the economy not the workers they Do not control the product manufacturing and or prices of your food. Stop embarrassing your kids or husband by yelling at these poor theatre associates and managers/shift leads please and thank you I am waiting in line with several other people waiting for their food and your complaints won't do anything to change the prices.

Kenneth K.

Yelp
Best picture quality, sound quality, and pricing. Great staff and quality food/drinks. The go-to theater for me and my friends.

Yelp
Last night, went to the first movie theater since the pandemic started. Felt good to do one more normal activity as Covid restrictions continue to reduce. They offer pre-order of concessions to have ready for pick up at the counter or can have it delivered to your seat. Pretty cool. Concessions seemed a little pricey though; 2 large drinks, M&Ms, Kit Kat bar, regular popcorn, and large pepperoni pizza set us back $50. Didn't mind too much, happy to support businesses that we like to help them come back from the pandemic. They are still only seating every other 2 seats so that made us feel comfortable and also gave us room to spread out our coats (yes it was cold last night). Saw 'A quiet place, part 2' great flick by the way... What I like most about this theater is that it is clean and well maintained, and offers a quiet peaceful drama free movie going experience. I live in the Gahanna area with the closest movie options being the Cinemark 16 at Stoneridge or AMC at Easton. Cinemark is nice but often has a number of teens that call out during the movie. AMC is the same but dialed up 10 notches; AMC often has had issues with young adults around the area acting out involving police in the evening.

Yelp
Uh absolutely amazing all the other theaters in the area do not compare luxury seats amazing sound

Yelp
Went for our monthly family movie matinee. Can we just be real for a minute? Can I get an amen for this awesome movie theater?! I don't care that I have to drive 25 minutes vs 5 minutes (I live super close to another theater that shall not be yet named.) Tuesday movies are $5! FIVE DOLLARS, people, to sit your booty in dream lounge seat greatness. It is the embodiment of all things good. Admittedly, I don't love popcorn (love the smell, not the taste) but I really do like their popcorn (if I add M&Ms...because duh.) Large half and half ICEE and I'm a happy moviegoer. They have a huge menu of food options. One of these days I will try the pizza. Because I'm super lazy, I love that you're able to purchase tickets online and reserve your seat. No more battling it out for the good center seats! Whomever invented this system is a freaking genius and I owe you unending gratitude. One thing to note. It's not exactly a complaint per se...more of an aside...the movie volume is insanely loud. Every movie, every theater, every time. Twice we have asked them to turn it down a little (we were like one of 6 people in there at those times.) Not trying to be high maintenance, but save our hearing. Especially when it's a kid's film...kiddos should t have to cover their ears it's so loud. Just take it down a notch or 5. No need to go to eleven. I love this theater. I even love Greg Marcus welcoming us to the theater in the pre-previews. Way to go, Greg. Nice theater you have here.
google avatar

Crystal K.

Yelp
Love this theater!! Popcorn is always fresh and good. Theater and seats clean, hardly a wait when coming in. It's our go to theater
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been here and was impressed with some of the changes. They have assigned seating which, for me, is usually pretty difficult to get right. But not here. The kiosk was easy to navigate. Then the ticket not only printed my seat info it indicated "left" so I'd know which branch to take off the main lobby area. I walked into the theater and there's a sign which gives seat numbers on the left and right. Then the letters in the carpet were huge. I found my seat easily during the darkness of the previews because the number was on the lower front part of the seat. The only thing I found annoying was the little tray used to hold your food. It wasn't level and I worried my popcorn would fall off so I just held it. They now offer pizza which I didn't get to experience. There is a bar area where you can wait for friends before a show or pregame before deciding on another destination.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here to see a movie with my mother in law when we were in town visiting. For the most part, I would say it's your typical movie theater these days. It hasv reclining seats that you have to reserve in advance. I'm honestly not a big fan of them. While they are more comfortable, if you don't buy online ahead of time and pay the extra fees, you end up having to sit in the front row. It's not a huge theater. The bathrooms send clean for the most part. The decor feels like it hasn't been updated for a few decades. I was pleasantly surprised that they gave me a cup for water. Other theaters try to charge me $6. Overall, this theater was about what I expected.
google avatar

Eric O.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite movie theatre. However the last few times I have been there I feel like they are not turning on the air conditioning. I went to see Fast Times last night and the theatre had to have bern 80 degrees if not more.
google avatar

Sandy M.

Yelp
Well, our first time since early 2020. Not a lot people there and seeing a Police Officer inside was new but hey, I'm happy to have him there. The staff was eh, okay. I was giving a really messed cup and figured it would be okay regardless until the bottom started to leak. It took me a while to get a new cup. Thankful to lady at the counter. We got our stuff and went to the movie room to watch the movie. And as luck would have it? Our seats were broken. No going up or down. Since I was already settled in, I wasn't moving. But seriously, fix those seats.

Carlos E. G.

Yelp
Excellent venue , very comfortable seats, kind staff. I would definitely go again in the near future

Patrick M.

Yelp
I appreciate that management takes complaints seriously, and that speaks a lot about a business. I was there recently on a Saturday night watching a recently released movie. A woman in the theater was repeatedly talking at full volume. Someone else in the theater asked them, not politely but also not egregiously, to stop talking. This woman then went into a flurry of curses and about a 60 second outburst. Five or so minutes later the manager came in to escort the lady out of the theater. This is the first time I've seen someone actually get hauled out of a theater in probably 20 years, and I go to the movies far more than your average person. I say all that to say you can't blame a business for rowdy customers, but you can blame them for poor handling of said customers. I think here is an example of management responding appropriately and adequately to a situation and you don't often see that. I think this theater has a lot to offer. Their seats are better than AMC, and their snack menu is pretty sizable. Also the icee machines are pretty much always in service, which has not been my experience at Easton. They also usually have everything they say they have on the menu, which again has not been my experience at Easton. The place is usually mostly clean with the occasional over filled trash can or dirty toilet, but you shouldn't reasonably expect 100% cleanliness in a public establishment. This place is reasonably clean, most importantly the seats and trays are free of debris and residue. I hate to sound like a parrot, but that too has not been my experience at Easton. The staff is young, and as one comes to expect, they don't feel obligated to be particularly friendly or helpful, and managing the concession lines is sometime chaotic. That's about what I have to say negative, and those, along with the occasional dirtiness, are the reasons I've chosen to give 4 instead of 5 stars. That said, I would give AMC Easton maybe 2, AMC Dublin and Polaris 18 a 3-3.5, so your takeaway should definitely be that I recommend this place over any other in the Columbus area. All in all, this is one of the better theaters I've been to in years. It isn't perfect, but I've yet to see a perfect theater. It's a good time, the DLX screen is awesome, the seats are nice, the food is good, and management definitely tries to bring a satisfying experience for their customers.

Mikayela C.

Yelp
My fiancé and I attended this theater for a date night. A large group of teens were sitting behind us and were extremely obnoxious and loud. This made it extremely hard to enjoy the movie. I feel there should be staff keeping an eye on the theaters at different times to ensure this doesn't happen. Needless to say, we will be finding a new movie spot.
google avatar

Tammy A.

Yelp
My husband and I recently went back to the Marcus Crosswoods and dam! Was that man happy! He was like this is so much better than the AMC Dublin with the additions they've been adding to the theatre like the bar area. Oh and by the way you can bring your drink into the movie and they have a table now built in for you to put your food on. Just like at Easton but for so much less that your wallet will thank you. That boy was on cloud 9 since his last experience at the AMC was not that pleasant as the staff tried to move us around while we were watching a movie. Plus the benefit of this theatre compared to the AMC is that I don't have to worry about anyones tall heads in front of me since I'm a shorty. Being a shorty is not easy people, if you can at least give me the benefit of the doubt with seats that are awesome like the Marcus I will write rave reviews for you, just like this one. I should not have to wear high inch heals to a movie theatre just so I can see above someones head that does not care. Marcus Crosswoods you guys have definitely rebranded yourselves and I'm very proud to see what you've done with it. You have definitely won me over from the AMC movie theatre.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
The Marcus is a nice theater -- it's been fully renovated and has nice BIG leather recliner seats and is generally very clean. BUT -- for short people (my wife is 5'0") the big reclining seats aren't particularly comfortable. During our last visit to the Marcus, I reminded my wife to take a cushion for behind her back to make the seats more tolerable. The Marcus now uses a system where all seats are reserved -- this may appeal to a lot of mover-goers but for anyone who decides to go to a movie at the last minute - even hours before the movie starts -- it really limits your choice of seats. We ended up sitting in the front row - which is somewhere I never want to sit again. SO --- WORD OF WARNING -- if you want to see a show at the Marcus, you need to plan ahead and make reservations. If you decide to see a show late in the day, try another theater that still uses open seating. AND -- if you're short, bring a cushion for behind your back.

Yelp
We've been coming to Marcus since it first open but the seats are worn and ripped now. The bathroom smell and the staffs hospitality had been lack for years. Our most recent visit was completely ruined after a manager informed us of their new bag policy. I spent the whole movie worried about my purse sitting in my car. I had bought these tickets as a special treat to all the little girls I watch during the week. I bought them back in October to see the new Frozen 2. This encounter ruined it for all the moms and myself. The manager was rude with my mom. I even offered to show them the inside of my purse. Honestly with the progression of issues over the years (from the bathrooms to some of the highest matinee prices) this was last straw. I'll be taking my family to see the new box office holiday line ups somewhere else. Not worth it!

Yelp
Usually one of my favorite theaters in town, but on this visit both popcorn machines were down. I feel like that's something they should tell people before buying tickets. Half the fun of a movie is the popcorn! $2 off pretzel bits is not compensation.

Yelp
We go here often. I love getting tickets online for reserved seating. If you are a Marcus Rewards Member, there's no service fee on Fandango. You also receive free popcorn on Tuesdays during their $5 movie night. Crosswoods was the first theater in my area to offer Dream Lounger reclining seating. It's been about 3 or 4 years now, and the seats are showing signs of wear. The leather is cracking, and my daughter's swing table on her chair turned the opposite way and was blocked by a pole so it rendered it useless. There were a couple of tables removed from the chairs entirely and just thrown at the end of the aisle. So, there's definitely some chair maintenance that could happen, if that's even a thing. The concessions are typical of any movie theater, but I like that it remains full service as opposed to AMC. Everything I have eaten there is good. But you know, all theater treats are well overpriced. I've never had a bad experience watching a movie--no technical difficulties and patrons are polite. I definitely will continue to come back.

Yelp
Overall a pretty solid cinema. Seats have a little wear and tear, but they are still comfortable. Ticket prices are fair and better then most other cinemas. Tuesday they have $5 dollar movies, which is nice.

Yelp
Marcus Crosswoods is probably the best deal in town when it comes to movies. Tuesday is a must here for only $5 for the movie, plus loads of deals on the rewards card like free popcorn or a large popcorn for only $4. Tuesday is a night when one might want to buy the tickets early and reserve the seats early also as things get crowded like even busier than a Saturday night. Monica and I have only had the popcorn here and it was good, the pretzel bites didn't look the best last night so we passed on those. There is plenty of parking and the employees are generally nice and hospitable. Students get a $5 movie night on Thursday with a college ID so that's a great deal as well. One small thing to nitpick about is the arm rest. Last night at our movie we moved the arm rest up, however when we tried to share the seat it wasn't as comfortable as other theaters.

Yelp
Definitely a treat to go to! Was visiting family over night when my wife and I took our son with my mother-in-law to see the Secret Lives of Pets. At first I was turned off because we had to wait in line to purchase our tickets (at Rave in Toledo they have kiosks in addition to the cashiers) and the interior looked a bit out of date. But we were able to choose our seats on a touchscreen and could see what seats were available so we could sit together. We walked in the theatre and wow were the seats awesome! Full on suede-like material lounge seating with trays, cup holders on both the outer and inner armrests. The inside armrest also lifted out of the way in case you wanted to cuddle with that special someone. The best feature? They reclined so that you could practically lay down and watch the movie (electronically). Even reclined all the way there was still some room for other guests to walk past. The screen also seemed to be up-to-date and very crisp (and curved!). Well worth the wait at the beginning and definitely a must do when we visit next time. IF I had something to criticize it would be that I felt the volume was a bit louder than what I'm accustomed to.

Yelp
I love this theater. The seating and movie selection alone should be enough, but there is so much more. Buku parking. Lots of handicapped parking as well. Buy tickets online, at the foyer kiosk, or at the entry desks from the friendly, helpful staff. Do they pick the most upbeat employees to greet you, or are they just mirroring the excitement of the patrons? Dream Loungers are the only way to go. Every seat, every theater. Choose your movie, and reserve your seat from the display touch screen. Sometimes there's a ticket ripper, sometimes not. The large number on your ticket is easily identifiable as the theater number you are going to. The numbers are well defined by above each hallway entrance. It's not rock science. Plenty of people working behind the concessions to keep the lines moving. It almost seems as if there are a certain number waiting, another counter opens up. One does nothing but keep stocking, so as to keep things going. Who wants to wait for popcorn? My wife swears by this popcorn here. Stick with all the standard theater popcorn tips(Reheated last nights corn for first batch?). I think we all know 1/2 a bucket with butter added, then repeat, is the best way. Throw on some of my own CaJohns Fire Dust, and we're rockin'. I have not yet tried the food or pizza. I'm hoping that posting a picture of that thin crispy crust will remind us to eat here next time. The restrooms have been hit and miss. I will say that if on my way in, I let someone know, it is cleaned by my return on the way out. The seats are all the rage. Some have the armrests that raise to let couples cuddle in a love seat setting. The big, wide, leather, pleather loungers with cup holders have power controls to raise the leg rests, and recline with ease. The theater is spacious with the rows between seats. It has to be, to accommodate the elevated feet from the reclining head in front of it. Now remember that the row must also be far enough away to let another patron pass by with concessions in hand without inconveniencing reclining individuals. Less seats, but more theaters, for more viewings. That means more chances in seeing a film when it's right for your schedule. Pick up your Marcus loyalty card or app when you go. Collect and use their rewards. And we'll see you at the movies.

Yelp
Our favorite place to watch movies. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The prices are what you expect but you do get refills so it all balances out in the end. Aurora who helped us was patient as it took us time to decide. She suggested the meal deals. I was sad that there weren't full sized pretzels. However; the pretzel bites were the perfect size and were tasty. The cheese sauce that came with them had a flavor it was cheesy with a little kick of spice.

Yelp
Love this theater . Been coming here for years Great stadium seats , pick your own seats , nice recliners ! Nice bar as well ! and now you can get pizza here which is actually pretty good ! We usually eat somewhere like J Gilbert's or J Alexander's which is close by , then go see a movie here . Makes a fun night always Lots of parking My only complaint would be that they need to Pave the parking lot , especially toward the back . Hope they do that soon Marcus is a great place for a movie date or family movie time . Check out my other reviews Cheers

Yelp
My wife and I go here constantly on movie night. What can I say, we are regulars. Its no five star, but I mean that is a high standard to attain for a theater. That being said, it is a nice little movie theater. What I love most about Crosswoods is the lounge chairs. They have lounge chairs in literally every theater. I have been to Pickerington Marcus before and they of course do not have all lounge chairs. I know what you are thinking, who cares about lounge chairs? Well you would be surprised with the difference it makes. I mean c'mon, who wants to sit an upright chair for 2 or so hours. Anyways, I recommend Crosswoods. And if you have a choice between Crosswoods and Pickerington, choose Crosswoods!
