Mareeba Drive-In

Went on a Thursday night in school holidays. Was so good and the food from the cafeteria was really well priced. Had a burger and chips and both were really fresh and cost a lot less than any other takeaway in town. The Movie was really good and no trouble hearing it with the option of Radio and speakers. A really great night out.

Great experience. Loads of room and you can camp overnight, even with your caravan. Kids movie first. Usually followed by an adults movie second. Try the fish at the cafe. Memorable experience.

Awesome experience for the family! Highly recommend packing the car and heading out to watch a movie or 2 under the stars. Great location, great movie experience, and very reasonable prices for entry and food make it an affordable night out for the whole family. All the staff were super friendly too... and even your dog is welcome 😊 Has all the facilities you need. We will most definitely be back soon, and hopefully the kids are up for the onsite free camping after the movie night next time!

Can't lie this place is excellent. Cheap entertainment in the town with family. They also having update movie which is you can also find in cinema. Love the ambience, first time my experience ever sitting in the car and watching to big screen. Definitely recommend this place! If you are looking place to spend your time on the weekend, this place one of those. They also selling food on site. Minus just the audio not quiet good and also lots of mossie, don't forget to bring the spray :)

I’ve been wanting to come here for a couple of weeks and finally I made it for the Deadpool double header. 😂. So funny! I got there early, 3.15pm as I had nothing else to do and there were still people in front of me. Good chatting though. I got a great spot in my van, tuned in and watched a couple of good movies, The Menu was interesting. I had a decent burger and chips, not expensive at all. Great to support such a popular small business 😁

Growing up on the Tablelands, the drive-in has always been one of our favourite weekend activities. It’s a nostalgic experience that never gets old, offering unbeatable value for money—where else can you watch two movies under the stars for less than the price of one at other cinemas? And when you’re craving a classic feed, the snack bar delivers. Whether it’s burgers, hot dogs, or fish and chips, you know it’s going to be freshly made, not sloppy, and hit the spot every time. These local gems are worth cherishing. We’re so lucky to have the Mareeba Drive-In, and I encourage all visitors to the Tablelands to experience it at least once. And to the locals—consider this your reminder to revisit!

It's just the best thing in Mareeba 👌 Hope it sticks around for as long as possible. Fish burgers were ok. Chop tops were yum! Staff are fantastic. Keep on supporting nostalgic venues like this! ⭐️
