Maren Anna is a cozy, welcoming place with beautiful harbor views. The fish soup was incredibly delicious—rich, flavorful, and full of fresh seafood. We also loved the cod. The staff were friendly, and the whole experience felt relaxed but special.

What a great place. Amazing food - cod tongues as a starter and whale steak as a main dish was a great recommendation from very kind and profesional waitress. The place itself is clean and cozy. Thanks a lot for a great time!

The Tempura cod tounges are a must!! Def would come back only for those! Atmosphere is also super nice and staff super friendly! We came in the afternoon, others told us evenings can get full - reservation is recommended!

After arriving in Moskenes, I trusted the reviews of this adorable little shack just by the harbor and was not disappointed. Since I unfortunately already had had painfully bad meatballs on the ferry, I opted for a starter of tempura cod tongues, a "small meal" instead of a main dish - the shrimp flaguette - and the ice cream assortment, with a Pornstar Martini to accompany it. The drink was well executed, albeit nothing special. When the starter came, I got so excited, I accidently already dug in before I could attempt photodocumentation. They were divine. The kick of the tapioca with the mango and cabbage worked exceptionally well and the cod simply melted on my tongue. The flaguette had fresh and very delicious shrimps and the flavours were well balanced. The - of course - home made sorbet selection of strawberry, vanilla and apple was rich in flavour and had the perfect texture. All in all, I paid 680 NOK which I find to be more than acceptable for auch a fine meal. Definitely recommend.

The Coal fish is cook to its perfection. Goes very well with the sauce. Well Done. I will recommend anyone passing by this area to drop by and enjoy a meal here.

We had a beetroot which was very flavorful and 2 whales that were also delicious. For main course we chosed 2 Entrecots and Tørrfisk. I was amazed with the combination of flavors of bacon and the tomato sauce in a stockfish and also of Aioli potatoes and the softenes of a fish which was basically traditional Lofoten dried cod. We had one Medium and one well done steak which was also cooked to perfection. Steaks are coming with amazing sides as daphinois potatoes. The chefs obviously know what they are doing. We would love to give the biggest thanks to all of the servers working that night. Especially to our server Karolina. Thank you for unforgettable food experience.

Great joint with helpful and attentive waitstaff. Owner was friendly and accommodating. Place was fully booked during dinner hours but they squeezed us in at 21h00. Food was great!

Last minute we found this place for NYE. We weren't expecting much open on the island, so were just excited to find a restaurant. But we were more than happy with our luck! They did a 7 course menu for NYE and we loved every single one. It started with a fun drink called two-faced, that had two different straws -- each causing the drink to taste differently :) Then the starters included duck, salmon ceviche (would come back just for this!), a shot that I can't even explain -- included vodka and what tasted like ice cream. Then it was on to stock fish and the main course of lamb -- both amazing. The desserts included a cheese plate and then baked Alaska! Even better is they timed the meal perfectly, we finished almost at midnight and got handed a glass of champagne to head to its pier and watch fireworks. Amazing experience, food and friendly staff make this place worth going to! I

You may not ever have the chance to eat smoked whale but after eating what seemed like two types of fish for the whole week I was ready to give it a try. Moren Anna prepared a wonderful dish that included smoke whale. I guess I didn't know what to expect of the consistency of whale but it tasted excellent although some of my fellow diners could bring themselves to try it on principle. that only left more for me. Great place to sit outside on a nice day by the small harbor and drink wine while enjoying the scenery.

Great restaurant. The staff was very kind. I ate the whale which was a pretty interesting experience. It was good. Glad I ordered it. I'm not sure I would order it again but YOLO:) the meal comes with bottomless potatoes. The whale was cooked rare, quite rare... so beware if that's an issue for you... a little pricey but understandable for being way out in the boonies. Would recommend this place to a friend.

Most of us got the whale. The server sold us on it. When he brought it out to us he called it beef so to be honest idk if I ate whale or beef. It looks the same and tasted good. I didn't get sick from it so that's a plus. Ambiance was great. Service was great. Location was right next door to our cabin so it was great.

Cozy place in stunning surroundings. We had fish soup, char fish and catch of the day. Today's catch was halibut. Totally delicious!

Delicious food! We had a fantastic starter containing home made breads and spread. For the main course we had some fresh fish with vegetables. Absolutely delicious! Service was great and the view makes the difference. Highly recommended.
