Mareta View Boutique Bed & Breakfast

Excellent location for a small, quiet hotel with great views of the sea. Fantastic balcony and outdoor space with a jacuzzi, which we often used in the evening to enjoy the stars. Rooms were simple, clean and comfortable. The acoustic insulation of the doors wasn't good, but the fact that the hotel was generally quiet meant this didn't affect our sleep. The beach was fantastic and very close (Mareta Beach), as were the fort and lighthouse. There are loads of fantastic restaurants nearby (2-min walk radius), as well as other beaches (Tonel and Martinhal). Don’t forget to visit the dolphins and make sure to have some cash on you, as some shops don't accept card!

What a lovely place to stay! We had a great time at this cute B&B. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a balcony facing the sea. Breakfast was plentiful with a nice selection of bread, pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereal, cheese, meat, boiled eggs, juice, coffee and tea. The property is very clean and the garden is lush and gorgeous with seating facing the sea. We parked on the street in front of the property. I highly recommend this place as a base to explore Sagres.

This is a very nice hotel, with some lovely amenities. In particular, if you can get a room with a balcony facing the ocean, you have beautiful views of the bay. There’s also a hot tub on site. The lobby is nice and very comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet, and was good, though not great.||Unfortunately, there is no elevator, and if you have heavy luggage getting up to the second floor can be a real problem, particularly since there were no staff members able to help. They share amenities with a hotel, and although there is a nice pool there, it is about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel . On the other hand, they do give you coupons for two free glasses of wine if you can make it to the pool.

With rooms looking out at see and a direct walkway to the beach through the dune vegetation it is recommended for their care and support for it's guests. Mariana helped me out in a time when everything seemed to be against the current and with her approachable nature made the stay that much like home

I had the pleasure to stay at this beautiful boutique hotel for 16 days and it was hard to leave this gem behind. From the front desk help; just naming a few of the people who were eager to help, José Fernandes, Daniela, Sónia, Mariana, Andreia and Alexandra, to the people who prepared the wonderful breakfast everyday with a smile on their face, it was truly an amazing experience that I will always treasure.|The breathtaking views from the rooms facing the Mareta Beach, the beautiful well kept gardens with a jacuzzi and a peaceful spot tucked in the garden to sit and enjoy the peacefulness of this wonderful place made this solo vacation one of a kind.|Waking up with the sun rising, witnessing it from my balcony was a powerful moment that will forever stay in my mind.|Thank you so much to all who contributed to my amazing vacation! The view from our 2nd floor veranda was truly amazing, just as they show in advertising. We stayed two nights and found this to be the perfect location. You can walk directly to the Fort on a path along the cliff or you can easily walk down to Mareta beach. There are also many restaurants within a short walk along the Main Street. The breakfast was very nice and the views while eating make you feel very happy to be there. Parking is free on the street. Highly recommend.

Did not mention that there was loud constuction nearby. The rooms acts like a stereo and the aircondition is bad. Tho the breakfeast is decent.
