Mareta View Boutique Bed & Breakfast

The room has comfortable bed and a big balcony, spectacular views from our balcony, enjoyed moment of breathtaking sunset. The gardens also very attractive, we can walk to the beach directly from the garden. The staffs in this hotel only reply when I asked questions, they looked very cold and unprofessional.

The view from our 2nd floor veranda was truly amazing, just as they show in advertising. We stayed two nights and found this to be the perfect location. You can walk directly to the Fort on a path along the cliff or you can easily walk down to Mareta beach. There are also many restaurants within a short walk along the Main Street. The breakfast was very nice and the views while eating make you feel very happy to be there. Parking is free on the street. Highly recommend.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel has a private access to the beach, including a terrace, reclining seats and various spots to enjoy the sun setting at the end of the day. The staff is very helpful and a nice breakfast is served every day.

The Mareta View had all it took for my short stay, only steps from the beach. Parking around the hotel was free and easy to find. I was made aware that I could access the pool (shared with the Mareta Beach House) which has a lovely view of the ocean and a pool bar. Plenty of dining options are within easy walking distance. The room was clean and the bed was good. Staff was friendly and helpful

Amazing boutique hotel that is essentially beachside in Sagres. I stayed here for three nights while hiking Fisherman's Trail in Feb 2025 and it was absolutely worth it. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, included breakfast downstairs each morning was quite nice. The room was fantastic, balcony overlooked the ocean and the grounds which were also lovely. Very comfortable bed, good wifi, good hot water pressure in the shower. Amazing location by the beach, short walk to a chiringuito bar as well, and direct access to a small hiking trail as well. 10/10, absolutely recommended and I would stay here again.

Had a lovely stay here. This is part of a complex with the pool 30 seconds walk down the street, and the gardens / jacuzzi 30 seconds in the other direction. Pool and gardens were both beautiful and relaxing.||Breakfast basic continental in the basement but with the option to eat on the terrace in the coffee shop upstairs. Great location next to Mareta Beach and in the centre of Sagres.||Agree that the noise in the hallways could often be heard and staff were not rude but not hugely friendly either. Also limited storage.

What a charming bed & breakfast with breathtaking views! We had a delightful stay at this funky boutique b&b, enjoying the fantastic views, delicious breakfast, and convenient access to shops and restaurants.||The hosts were exceptionally nice. Each morning, we were treated to fresh coffee and a variety of delightful homemade pastries, fresh fruits and treats. Our room was cozy and uniquely furnished. In the evenings, we savored the views from the lovely porch, painted in shades of pink and orange. It was a perfect retreat, combining relaxation with local allure. Highly recommend!

After visiting a number of other 4* hotels along the south coast we couldnot but be disappointed with Mareta View Boutique. It may be due to different levels of service deemed acceptable for a Boutique hotel compared to larger hotels, but we missed small and larger touches that would make it worth 4* (or even 2*) Like for example: - a simple inquiry how the journey has been - some warm dishes for breakfast (even the boiled eggs were cold). - simple amenities in the room (coffee, tea) - no fresh fruit juices, nor home made marmelade The voucher for a free bottle of wine is a nice gesture. For those being price sensitive, it seems attractive to get a bottle of €16 for free. However the market costs of the wine offered is around €5 and the menu of the other Italian restaurant is significant more economical (we did not go there and don't know the quality of the food.) As the weather was quite cold, we needed to heat the room and after consulting the receptionist it took at least 30 mns for a slight change in temp. Combined with the slight scent of humidy in the room it is not comfy. So ask a second keycard. Is it all doom en gloom? No, the small but tastfully layout of the garden with view over the ocean and the love seat are great assets.
