I love returning to this warm, friendly and family run hotel, as each year it strives to improve its facilities and services. What is always consistant, is the classic Ibicenco welcome, attentive staff and spacious rooms with terraces, bigger than most in the beautiful sunset resort. ||||For the price you pay, you get lots of value. Free parking, which is vital these days in San Antonio , as its almost impossible to find a parking spot this summer, such is the demand for car rentals with prices skyrocketing. ||||With many of the big hotels in San An closed this season due to Covid, the ones that are open, are all seeing demand for rooms and with short supply, value is important. In this regard Marfil is way out in front for the overall package you receive. Rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day, the bathrooms have a bath and shower with toiletries inncluded. Tootbrush, soaps, shampoo etc. ||||Best buffet breakfast I have had ever in a San Antonio hotel, freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade walnut cake to die for, yougorts with mixed berries, watermelon, fruits, the classic pan e tomate, cold cuts of salami, serano and york hams along with freshly made pancakes and eggs cooked to order. Having worked in many hotels around the island, this style of breakfast buffet is normaly reserved for the high end establishments where clients pay two hundred euro a night for a room. ||||My quiet room overlooked a beautiful garden of a casa next door, the light reflecting off the bright red bourganvilla plant climbing the whitewashed walls and the sound of birdsong awakes you each morning. My bed was King size, with a really comfortable matress that I slep soundly on each night. A really relaxing energy that is rare to find these days in a busy resort like San Antoio which is now coming of age and returning to a traditional Spanish resort as the clubs remain closed and the UK package tourists stay at home.||||The national market has taken full advantage of this, and In 20 minutes, i walked to Cala Gracio and its beautiful sister beach Gracionetta surrounded by pines and had a refreshing dip in the sea. The Hotel plans to extend its season into November this summer so dont miss the oppertunity to visit this hotel, if you enjoy local culture, warm hospitality and Ibicenco charm. You may even get to meet the next generation, Toni Jnr, who now carries the torch for this third generation of family business, who have deep roots into the local fabric of this beauatiful island and are always on hand to help or offer advice. ||||Easily my favourite hotel n San Antonio. as small is truely beautiful in Ibiza.
