Margaret Island

Beautiful destination hosting several landscaped gardens, sports facilities, running and walking paths, spas, cafes, restaurants. Bus number 26 passes right at the middle of the island, connecting you to Pesc side and metro

The island is very beautiful and has good sightseeing facilities. It is possible to rent multi-person bicycles, which I highly recommend you try, it doubles the pleasure of exploring the island. Inside the island there is a mini zoo, swimming pool, playground, old buildings and various cafes.

Small island next to city, peaceful and good for walking or outdoor, better for local people, not tourists in winter as nothing to see.

A nice place for a relaxing stroll, with beautiful views over the river, very nice Japanese gardens and scenery. An ideal place to spend an afternoon relaxing and admiring nature. I would highly recommend a visit if In the area

A beautiful place in the center of the city that I haven’t managed to reveal in whole. Surely will come back again. The garden, musical fountain, bistro and restaurants, historical monuments and much, much more… The place of peace and joy

Such a beautiful island, well maintained, clean and had a lot of places to seat and rest. The only minus is toilets for money and you have to pay cash only. Except this, very lovely place for tourists and locals. Probably during summer it’s even better and has more activities.

This is a great location if you are looking for a running route in the city away from having to constantly stop for the roads and traffic lights. What’s more there is a purpose built running track that take you around the whole island which is 5k. Just ensure you bring some euros as although there are plenty of public toilets on the island they all charge to use. You’ll also find the Budapest sign here.

It's a Marvelous and one of the beautiful place to hangout in the heart of Budapest. It has It's own natural beauty a piece of land surrounded by the beautiful danube river where you can spend you time by enjoying different types of activities. I must suggest you to go there two times night and day time both has It's own beauty.
