Margaret River Farmers Market is worth a visit! We planned this into our itinerary (Saturday morning). Bot a huge Market, but very diverse. Local produce of fruit, veggies and artisan products. And many food stalls. A Musician showed me his home-made instrument, 4+4-string guitar-like. I waited with anticipation, but he did not get to play it while we were there. Yes, well recommended.

Not my first time there; it’s a lovely half hour or hour to see some delightful local produce. Super-friendly bakers and veggie growers. Some great meats. Pricey but great quality. Only criticism would be the lady in one stall who gave us (two adults and an infant) the very clear impression that if we weren’t buying her produce we could move along: “Just using my shade?” I thought she was joking. She was not. Can’t remember the stall but Italian-style produce next to the Macaroon stall.

We love farmers markets and the one at Margaret River is no exception. Everything looked good but because there was a limit to what we could consume and because we had no idea which stalls to choose from, we simply followed the crowd and joined the longest queues. We were not disappointed with our choices. Everything we are on the spot tasted fresh and the ones that we bought home to eat later in the day were also excellent.

This is the only farmers market that I've enjoyed. Unlike the farmer's markets in Indonesia, which are indoors and mostly smelly, this one gives you fresh air and is outdoors with loyal people. I tried a chocolate and banana crêpe in one of the stalls, and it was freshly served and had a wonderful taste. There are only 2 people in the cart so it might be long to get your order when crowded. Mostly they use carts so if it's closing time, simply drive the cart and get it done. And I think most people don't like the opening and closing time here since it's open once a week for 3-4. But to be honest, I like this farmer's market. 4.9/10

Nice farmers market with a decent amount of stalls (maybe around 20 to 30). Selling almost everything from fruit n veg, bread, eggs, uncooked pasta, handmade goods, wines and spirits, coffee vans and some food. All produce and goods are locally grown or produced. Parking is very limited and gets extra busy during long weekends. Pets are not allowed.

Yelp
Popped in for some fruit and vege but walked away with more than just that. They have a lot of free samples so you don't need to eat beforehand. Such a lovely range of fresh and local ingredients, all reasonably priced. I bought a huge bag of sweet and seedless mandarins for $5 - what a bargain - and the mandarins were delicious. Such a great vibe at the markets - people bring down their dogs, there were two musicians playing some tunes and there was a combi van right in the middle selling coffee. Lovely spot to spend a Saturday morning.
