Margaritaville Beach Resort - Nassau

I had a pleasant experience at Margarita and think it’s worth sharing for future visitors. The place is clean, welcoming, and has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it enjoyable to stop by, whether you want a quick bite or to sit down and eat. You can find pizza on the first floor in the outdoor area and also on the second floor. The pizza is available until around 5 p.m., and it is definitely delicious. The flavor and quality make it worth trying if you are in the area. However, one thing to keep in mind is that the service can be a bit slow. For example, even when ordering a pizza to go, the wait can be longer than expected. In our case, with only two customers waiting, what was supposed to be about 15 minutes ended up taking closer to 30 minutes. Despite the wait, the staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience more pleasant. On the second floor you can also enjoy the same delicious pizza along with local beer, which is a nice option if you want to relax and enjoy the atmosphere a bit more. Another good surprise is that they also offer sushi on the first floor, giving visitors more variety in case someone in the group prefers something different. One thing to note is that during our visit they had problems with the network for card payments, and they do not accept cash. It may be helpful to keep this in mind before ordering, just in case the system is temporarily down.

Amazing stay! Mark was fantastic, he made check-in seamless and welcoming, and Jolando was so great—helping us with our luggage and friendly. He even offered us a welcome drink while we waited. Best check-in experience we’ve had compared to Royal and Grand Hyatt. Security was also super helpful and were able to trace back a rashguard my child left at the pool at the end of the day. Highly recommend this hotel !!

My partner and I stayed here recently after booking through The Hotel Collection with Amex, and unfortunately our experience was poor. Throughout the stay we had repeated issues with housekeeping. Towels and basic toiletries were not replenished, and multiple requests went unanswered. On several occasions we ultimately had to go to the front desk ourselves to obtain items that are normally restocked during a hotel stay. The most frustrating experience occurred on the morning of checkout. We had been asking about the possibility of a late checkout throughout our stay. We were first told to ask on the day of departure, then told to wait until 9 AM, and then told a manager would review the request and call our room. We waited over an hour with no call and ultimately had to go down to the front desk again around 10 AM to speak with the manager directly. To be clear, we were not upset that the late checkout was denied — hotels are often full and that is understandable. What was frustrating was the amount of time we spent waiting for an answer instead of enjoying our last morning at the beach. Because our checkout situation remained uncertain for so long, we were unable to switch to an earlier flight option. By the time we finally received a clear answer from the hotel it was too late to make that change, which resulted in us spending an additional five hours waiting at the airport. The property itself has a great location and the beach area is beautiful, but the service experience did not match what we expected from a resort marketed through American Express travel programs. With more consistent housekeeping and clearer communication from staff, this could be a much better guest experience.

The hotel is very nice, and the rooms are beautiful and clean with a great view. The staff are friendly, but not very helpful, as it feels like there’s a new person working every day who doesn’t really understand how things operate. The arranged airport transfer didn’t work optimally—or in some cases, didn’t work at all. As a couple, we were asked to pay a double deposit because they thought we booked two rooms. It took about half an hour for them to realize that as a married couple, it’s logical we only needed one room, so only one deposit should be paid. The water park and the hotel’s beach, however, are fantastic.

Great hotel—definitely recommend! They were able to upgrade our room, and during our stay we had a suite, which was a huge plus since we could do our own laundry. The views were amazing, especially watching the cruise ships arrive and depart. All of the restaurants were delicious, and the hospitality was outstanding. My husband wasn’t feeling well the first couple of days, and when he asked for a tea recommendation, the staff went out of their way to make one for him to help him feel better. Truly exceptional service!

This property was beautiful. I want to give a special thanks to Mark at the front desk. When we walked in he was super friendly and provided us an incredible room. This property has everything you need from food to pools. You won’t be disappointed. Take a walk around the corner and stop by Sandy Bottoms Store to grab some souvenirs these people were amazing !!!

We loved our quick long weekend trip to Nassau’s Margaritaville Resort - we stayed at the One Particular Harbor building which has a separate private beach and pool. Actually the beach is shared with the British Colonial (which we didn’t realize until we got there) but still it was nice to have less crowds than the main resort beach and pool area. The staff everywhere throughout the properties are all super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, quiet, and had stunning views of the ocean. We had fun watching the cruise ships come and go as well! ||I only have a few suggestions for this resort; particularly this building. They could use a restaurant option aside from the steakhouse for those nights when you don’t want to walk over to the other building for a casual dinner. ||It was also odd to me the amount of country music they play throughout the resort. If I am in the Bahamas, I want to hear island music. And considering the people who come from all around the world, idk why they would play so much country. But I’ve never stayed at a Margaritaville property before so maybe that’s their thing. ||One other thing, is that I had to pay for an upgrade to this building but heard our neighbors say that they got a “free”|Upgrade to the building. So I was a little confused and annoyed by this.

We just left Margaritaville OPH in Nassau. Our stay from check-in to checkout was truly an amazing experience. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, Our check in host Toni Bain and lobby host Avan Wilson were exceptionally kind and helpful. One Particularly Harbor was a beautiful resort with a beautiful clean studio king ocean view room with a kitchenette. The grounds were manicured and offered views of the ocean and harbor. The resort is close to a lot of shops and restaurants/bars. We will definitely be back😎
