Margin Street Inn

We stayed at the Margin Street Inn for 2 nights while attending a wedding at the Ocean House Resort in Watch Hill. Our party, which included couples and young adults, occupied 8 of the 10 rooms on this absolutely gorgeous property. Chris and Sarah (the Inn keepers) could not have done anything more to make our stay 5 star. The rooms are immaculate and beautiful. The common areas turned out to be a highlight for us as we could all congregate between wedding events, have a cocktail or just chat. The breakfast was FANTASTIC!!! Especially the cinnamon bake and the strawberry muffins! Would highly recommend this property!

The bountiful breakfast buffets are not to be missed. They’re always fresh and delicious and prepared by Sarah herself..(lemon ricotta pancakes..I see you!)|Margin Street is a well deserved award winning Inn. The innkeepers are the reason it is consistently recognized and a big reason we keep coming back. It is truly a treat for us to stay here year after year. My husband and stayed at Margin Street Inn for one night--just a quick getaway from Providence. The suite was lovely and comfortable and the shower amazing. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully displayed-really just perfect. The grounds are serene and relaxing with impressive old trees. Our main praise is for Chris and Sarah who were wonderful hosts. They manage the rare balance (for inn keepers) of being incredibly warm and welcoming and also offering space. It seems they are good at "reading the room" and knowing how much interaction guests want. That seems a gift. I very highly recommend this inn!

Margin Street Inn will forever be a special place for my husband and I. We stayed here for several days for our wedding weekend and couldn't have had a better experience. The grounds, rooms, hospitality from Sarah & Chris and the morning breakfast are fantastic. You'll feel relaxed by just stepping foot on the front porch. We cannot wait to be back each year.

I had no idea what to expect when I booked my room at this suggested location for a destination wedding at the Ocean House. I couldn't have imagined that a B&B could be this beautiful and the hospitality of Chris and Sarah was exceptional! The happy hour, freshly made and Michelin-star-but-Sarah-just-made it for us-breakfast, and to-die-for-chocolate chip cookies make 5 stars not enough for this Inn. I am usually not a fan of B&B's, but this home was welcoming, zen, and classy. The only thing I wished was that I had asked Sarah for many of her recipes, but then replicating how perfectly she made them would be unrealistic. We will just have to go back!

Relaxing, calm, quiet luxury at its finest, set in a little nook of Westerly. Sarah and Chris are the most gracious, warm, welcoming hosts and they make the BEST breakfast. Everything was top notch yet low key and finished with the most subtle, but thoughtful touches. We can't wait for another weekend to tuck ourselves away here!

The Margin Street Inn is always a little piece of heaven! This was our second visit and we found even more reasons to fall in love with the place, from the delicious homemade breakfasts to the welcoming happy hour and the exquisite room decor. The inn is spacious and peaceful even when busy, and Sarah and Chris went out of their way, as ever, to help us with the things we needed: including beach supplies for an impromptu day at the beach, and a recommendation of which beach to go to (Napatree)! We love all that Westerly has to offer, and Margin Street is a wonderful respite after a day of playing tourist.

Wonderful long weekend in Westerly. We had the pleasure of a 3 night stay at the Margin St Inn as well as hosting an event in their "Carriage House". The rooms and property were beautiful and the housekeeping is on a level that you simply do not see anymore. The grounds are beautiful with statement trees that were planted before Laura Ingalls Wilder was born and heading west with her family. Chris and Sarah are on the move all the time looking after every detail to ensure a perfect stay. The morning breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Book it, you will be thankful you did!

We can't say enough great things about the Margin Street Inn and about our gracious and hard-working hosts, Sarah and Chris. We recently had a large group stay here and everything was absolutely wonderful. If you've stayed in some nice B&Bs, you probably think you know what this will be like -- but this is several notches better: a big step up in luxury, cleanliness, beautiful setting, and the attentiveness of the hosts. We stay at nearby Ocean House frequently, and of course that's lovely and luxurious. But the accommodations at the Margin Street Inn are every bit as good... and a *lot* less expensive. We were all delighted with our stay and hope to have the good fortune to be able to visit again!

Margin Street Inn is a gem. Sarah and Chris are incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable. We were blown away by the attention to detail from the quality of the room appointments to the homemade breakfasts. Recommendations for day trip and restaurants were spot on. Don't miss this wonderful inn. Sarah and Chris, the couple who are the innkeepers, do a fantastic job in making this a wonderful home away from home. Ideally located on a quiet neighborhood street adjacent to the Pawcatuck river, within easy reach to visit Watchhill, Newport, Mystic and Stonington. The Inn is comprised of two separate buildings, both of which have been totally renovated ...sparing no expense with incredible attention to detail. Enjoy!!!!
