Three times in a row! Yes we could not get enough of Margiora! The food is excellent: Greek with a twist, Greek innovative, Greek creative... or simply poly nostimo: very good! And the staff? Wow! Welcoming, smiling, attentive, and I could go on. Great music (check out the 80ies on a Sathurday night). Awesome abd quite inventive cocktails.... Great crowd too: hipsters, fam with kids, young and older couples, singles, anybody in a good mood. The setting ist elegant and welcoming in the center of Chora. Simply the place to be in Kythnos! 👊💖

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Kythnos, Margióra is a must-visit. Nestled in the heart of the island, this refined restaurant combines Cycladic elegance with innovative Greek cuisine, offering a feast for the senses in every way.

Our dinner at Margiora was the highlight of our visit on the island. We decided to order more fish and seafood options from the menu and were pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the chef, combining local ingredients and ideas with a sense of modern mediterranean cuisine. Worth mentioning is the wine list and cellar, offering very good options from the greek and international vineyard. The sommelier was very kind and helpful to our selections. This is a reason to promise to come back to Kythnos.

Delicious food and kind service. Dishes are a little bit smaller than a common Greek restaurant but the presentation and the flavours will reward you. It’s a great place to experience Greek cuisine in a modern twist. Prices about 40€ to 60€ per person depending on your selection.

Great food (more on the gourmet side) and probably the best elevated but also relaxed vibe for a dinner / drinks occasion on the island .

This is high dining on an island of tavernas. And while the tavernas are fun and good, Margiora is something else. It is not easy to find a pearl like this in the less known Cyclades. Perfect cooking with superb flavors well balanced , and some top Assyrtiko local white wine from Kythnos to go with it. Pasta clearly top Gragnano perfectly cooked. Superb fish with very crunchy skin. You will read many taverna reviews mentioning "best food on the island", but Margiora is the only one that can claim that. Plus an amazing ambiance, on a town square, with a jazz trio.

Spot is excellent. So was the service of staff and the bottle of wine they suggested met both our preferences. Both service and atmosphere validate their prices and seemed normal to us for the quality of ingredients. However, I believe there is more room for progress in the kitchen. As a “summer”restaurant all dishes need to have more subtle taste and need to be more delicate. Fish was too heavy for our taste buds in the ceviche. Kritharoto also had heavy and strong taste and the calamari as if it was not grilled but just boiled. I would definitely visit again when back on the island as I do believe a restaurant of this quality takes such comments into consideration. Thank you!

Great food more like a michelin star restaurant with very reasonable prices. The food is awesome, the service is very friendly and quick, and the atmosphere is very cozy in an authentic Greek Chora. One of the best restaurants in Kythnos.
