Maria Giovanna Guesthouse in Marsalforn, Gozo

Beautiful, extremely central ( the beach is a two minute walk), very welcoming and clean guesthouse. The room was nicely furnished with clean crisp sheets ,good quality mattress and pillows. Breakfast was well balanced with a good variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, cakes and breads. Sonia, the owner, was very welcoming and polite. Great value for money. Will surely return. Well done Sonia!!

We stayed here in September 2025. I was with a group of friends driving for a few days around. The guest house is well situated, a short block back from the seafront and near to all the dive shops and restaurants.||It’s a converted townhouse over four stories with a few rooms largely furnished in traditional style with private bathrooms. Breakfast was very good in the morning and they looked after us well. Prices are reasonable.||Divers will find the rooftop area useful for drying out kit.

It is a exceptional cousy place, where you can feel at home with best services and high attention to detail. The room was implacable, the attention of Sonia and her team very nice. Excellent homely accommodation. There’s a lovely breakfast included every morning served by the owners . The guesthouse is in a great location and we’ve booked again for October when we come back to Gozo for another diving trip

We stayed 2 people for a week and honestly, I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay at. Anna and Sonia are extremely nice and helpful and they will serve you a wonderful breakfast. We slept very well in the beautiful room and the location is just perfect, close to the beach and to the bus which takes you around the island. Thank you so much for being such great hosts!

Absolutely fantastic guest house right in the centre of Marsalforn. Sonia, the hostess, is a wonderful, pleasant and caring person.The rooms are fairly small but perfectly functional and amazingly clean.The shower was very good and the surrounding area is quiet.Breakfast is excellent. There’s a special of the day or you can basically have what you want. All cooked fresh to order.Really enjoyed staying here.

Frequently returning guests, both in summer and off season. Conveniently located a short stroll from the bustling seafront, this charming guesthouse is a tranquil haven where to rest comfortably after a day at the beach or a night on the town either in the seaside village itself or the nearby capital city, beaches and dive sites. Nostalgic and often quirky furnishings of traditional Gozitan houses (all online pictures are true to life), rooms with ensuite showers are extremely clean with all the comforts listed, including WIFI/TV, tea/coffee facilities, bedroom AC, super comfy bedding and super relaxing shower water pressure. Breakfasts are delicious, both continental and English breakfast options available with a personalised touch as often locally sourced and home made produce is offered from a traditional Gozitan kitchen. Genuine staff experienced in providing a quality experience, friendly, hospitable, and willing to go the extra mile to address queries and suggest ways to ensure a pleasant stay at the guesthouse and on the island. Compared to other guesthouses in the area, it is especially good value for money when evaluating the attention/service/food offered to guests. Highly recommended. Once you experience a stay here, you will definitely want to return!
