Maria Hotel

Close to the rail station (across the park) this is a modern hotel with good value clean rooms, it's a 15 minute walk to the sea / old town or there are lots of buses along the road to the side. Was perfect for an early train in the morning, breakfast not tried but looked good.

We stayed in room 118, rooms smelled very humid odor, almost like mold combined with wc odor , beds could be better, no gluten free at breakfast , furniture it’s outdated

One of the best places to stay in you are in Constanța. A good hotel with delicious breakfast options, a location close to the center on Constanța and the beach. For tourists it's very affordable for a longer stay. The bathrooms are disinfected and the place is modern and well maintained. You have a private bathtub and you can choose if you'd like breakfast in the morning. The people are nice and ready to help you. They understand English well and i've known them for some time. Definately a great option if you are looking for a place to stay in Romania.

So disappointed! It used to be a very good hotel. Now, the hallway and rooms on the back of the hotel have a heavy smell of cigarette smoke, if you open the window it's worse, probably people smoke on the window. The room is pretty clean but looks very old, shower head needs descaling. Other rooms have newer doors and seem renovated. The sheets are top quality, sparkling white. The towels look clean but they are almost grey. The table cloths in the dining are dirty, probably not changed in ages. The breakfast offer is ok, like in most 3-4 stars hotels (coffee machine with soluble, but not bad), at least this stayed good as it used to be.

A decent clean hotel. The rooms are refurbished but more to be improved. Some parts were just not properly done. Very friendly and professional staff.

I did book this Hotel in the last 8 years a lot of times. Sometimes only for 1 night sometimes for 7 to 10 nights in a row. I like the place of location.... close to the main train station. Enough parking slots. All important areas can be reached in less then 10 minutes. Rooms are ok some needs to be refurbished. In general the hotel and facilities are very clean. Staff is always friendly and supportive. Breakfast buffet... lots of choices and egg dishes will be done a la minute....due to the pandemic there is no buffet at the moment....you have to live with pre prepared lunch boxes as anywhere else during these restriction times.

I went there with my family and my little boy for a couple of days. We've rented an apartment there which was more suitable for our needs. The rooms were very clean and the staff is attentive. The hotel has two sides. One is rated with 3 stars and the other is rated with 4 stars. We've stayed at the 3 stars one. The breakfast is included in the price and we find it very good with a variety of things from cereals and fruit salad to boiled eggs, bacon, sausages, tea,coffee and so on. The hotel is placed very near to the train station and from there it is very easy to take busses to go and explore the place. I would definitely go and stay there again and i would recommend this place to everyone.

Stayed here as my connecting bus was cancelled, very close to transport links. The town was closing down after the summer season so not much to do. The hotel is clean and well run, 24 hour reception and feels safe. I had a standard double which was spacious, separate bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space. The room looked onto a courtyard with music from the 1980's playing quite loudly but was quiet at night. The hot water took an age to get hot, at least ten minutes but was boiling when it arrived. Decent place to stay for a night, nothing to make it stand out but would use again.
