I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, which exceeded my expectations despite my only one-night stay. While it has a classic and somewhat outdated design, it was clean, tidy, and peaceful. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the sausage was the highlight. Convenient parking is available right in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly, and the neighbourhood was quiet. On the contrary note, It was freezing outside, although the hotel provided an extra thick blanket. The room heater did not work, and no one could help us carry our luggage.

Our stay at Mariam Hotel was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with any request, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights of my stay was the takeaway breakfast they kindly prepared for us. Not only was it a thoughtful gesture, but it was also absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and perfect for a day of exploring Jordan. It’s rare to find such attention to detail and genuine care for guests. The hotel itself is well-maintained, clean, and offers a cozy atmosphere. Whether you’re passing through or staying longer, I highly recommend Mariam Hotel for its outstanding service, friendly staff, and great food. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Jordan!

We got a room on the 4th floor, directly below the kitchen. So unfortunately there was a fair bit of kitchen noise at 5 in the morning. But on the other hand, the view of the sunrise from our balcony (pictured) was beautiful. The breakfast was generous, typical Jordanian buffet breakfast. The parking was directly outside the hotel. Check-in and check-out were quick.

Nice and clean hotel in Madaba, close to the main attraction such as the archeological museum and the churches Good value for money. Breakfast ok but in a very cold space!

Worst Experience ever !!! The toilet wasn’t clean , the shower had dead flies all over it!!! The mattresses were not clean !!! Moreover , when I woke up in the morning the bathroom sink didn’t contain any water !!! It seems that they turn off the water and AC in the night, I noticed that the AC stopped working suddenly!!! I’ve been scammed 😔

Mariam Hotel is definitely a bit dated, but in general it’s not a bad hotel. There were a lot of positive aspects during my stay, but I have to be honest about the negatives too, which I will elaborate on later.||Firstly location is excellent. Everything is within walking distance, and you’re surrounded by a multitude of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores.||I didn’t really converse a lot with the staff, but everyone seemed friendly enough.||Breakfast was quite substantial, and I really liked that most items were clearly labelled.||There are filtered water stations throughout the building where you can refill your water bottles for free. ||WiFi was very good.||My room was spacious, comfortable, and despite being a little worn around the edges - it was clean. Bedding and towels smelled fresh. ||Now for the negative issues, which I feel I need to be honest about so you can make an informed choice about booking based on facts:||I was there for 2 nights, during my stay I had 4 showers - 3 of which were freezing cold. I thought maybe this was due to the water being heated by solar panels, as the only time I had a relatively warm shower was at around 4pm. If this is the case, good luck during the winter months!||The wardrobe/cupboard had a damp musty smell. I was going to hang some clothes up, but decided not to. There was also a blanket in there which I was going to use, but that smelt like mildew. ||Maybe I just got unlucky with my room, as plenty of other people seemed to really enjoy their stay. But because of what I experienced I would not stay here again, not unless the management could guarantee these issues had been resolved.

Worst experience ever, shame on them. Pool is full of dust and flies, it’s extremely dirty, it smells more like cleaning products not safe for children or adults either. Floors around the pool are dusty, we had bites on our skin from flies. Stuff are rude as well and they treat you with no respect at all. Madaba needs better places than this.
