Mariam Hotel

Lovely and very moderately priced hotel. Comfortable beds in simple, very functional rooms. Lovely views from the fifth floor dining area and conference center. Hot, good showers. Filtered water available on each floor, for refilling water bottles or kettles for making tea. Very walkable to restaurants and churches/mosaics in central Madaba. I was there for a 24-hour retreat of about 25 women and it was an excellent and affordable setting.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, which exceeded my expectations despite my only one-night stay. While it has a classic and somewhat outdated design, it was clean, tidy, and peaceful. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the sausage was the highlight. Convenient parking is available right in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly, and the neighbourhood was quiet. On the contrary note, It was freezing outside, although the hotel provided an extra thick blanket. The room heater did not work, and no one could help us carry our luggage.

Our stay at Mariam Hotel was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with any request, making us feel right at home.One of the highlights of my stay was the takeaway breakfast they kindly prepared for us. Not only was it a thoughtful gesture, but it was also absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and perfect for a day of exploring Jordan. It’s rare to find such attention to detail and genuine care for guests.The hotel itself is well-maintained, clean, and offers a cozy atmosphere. Whether you’re passing through or staying longer, I highly recommend Mariam Hotel for its outstanding service, friendly staff, and great food. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Jordan!

I always return to this hotel when in Jordan. Located in Madaba, a quaint and peaceful town, this location is perfect for visiting the dead sea, Amman or Karak, or on the way to Aqaba from the north. The hotel's pool is picture perfect, the breakfast wonderful on the upper terrace with views of the entire area. Highly recommended.

We got a room on the 4th floor, directly below the kitchen. So unfortunately there was a fair bit of kitchen noise at 5 in the morning. But on the other hand, the view of the sunrise from our balcony (pictured) was beautiful. The breakfast was generous, typical Jordanian buffet breakfast. The parking was directly outside the hotel. Check-in and check-out were quick.

It's nice hotel close to city center. Rooms are recently renovated and look very fresh and clean. Children were happy to find beautiful towel swans at beds. Breakfast was very good with tasty local options. It was real surprise to get a breakfast like this as hotel was almost empty. Easy to park on road in front of the hotel.

our last night was at this hotel. we are so happy we booked here. the breakfast was one of the best tasty food i had in Jordan and variation menu to chose. location is close to city center of madaba and can enjoy the night / day time. highly recommended for last night in jordan

Pool water is cold, the orders are a bit late, from my point of view a sandwich could be better than this
