Very friendly staff, and all rooms were perfectly clean. Bed was great. The super friendly lady makes great breakfast and coffee, and Fernando was a pleasure to deal with. They organized both a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, and a shuttle to Antigua the next day for a really good price. There is great filtered water. Wifi worked without a hitch. Another reviewer wrote that you can hear airplanes, but the runway isn't actually that close to the hotel. I am sensitive to noice but still didn't have any trouble falling asleep. Please give many pets to the elderly house dog. She can't see very well but she is a very good girl.

This hotel felt like a home - we loved our stay and wish we could have extended it! The owners came to pick us up at midnight. Very kind and personable staff, despite us not speaking Spanish and being harried from travel. Breakfast was fantastic: eggs, potatoes, beans, bread, butter, jam, coffee and creamer. Drinking water available on both floors. Great water pressure - almost too good, they could totally save water with some different shower heads. You may want to ask for an extra towel. There’s a hair dryer, soap and shampoo, bug spray (didn’t need), a sewing kit. Decor is eclectic and homey, lots of interesting things to look at! I wish I had more time to ask the history behind it all. Thank you Mariana’s!

Mariana’s Petit hotel was perfect for what we needed. We flew into Guatemala City in the evening and wanted a safe convenient place to spend the night before continuing our journey on to Lake Atitlan. For the price…. The place was pretty adorable. If felt like being invited into someone’s home for the night with family pictures on the walls, airplane models and dioramas decorate the nooks and crannies. It felt very safe, with an outdoor sitting area upstairs and a grassy space just inside the gate. Victor was quick to pick us up at the airport when we arrived. Most importantly the coffee (served at 0630 hrs) and breakfast was a real treat. It was simple, but delicious. (Scrambled eggs, new potatoes, a small dish of refried black beans, and some soft bread). ||Though we are giving it 5 stars because it was perfect for us, please be aware that it may not be perfect for everyone. Things to note, it is near the airport so it can be noisy at night. The area doesn’t have any food options to walk to if you are getting in late. And I had difficulty corresponding with them to arrange the free airport shuttle (and that could have been my error for not understanding the best way to email them.) And finally, I was not able to get any hot water in the shower. ||If we were to do it again, we would happily book another night at Mariana’s Petit hotel.

Perfect location for the airport. Very safe area, you need to go through a game to access the street. Got picked up and dropped off for free. Took barely 5 mins. Comfy bed. Hot water, but you need to wait a little while for it.

Great little hotel for a quick overnight before or after a flight. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, a nice place to hang out on the roof, and a quick ride to the airport. Nice hot water too. Lots of really neat displays and collections of "stuff" around the hotel. Very interesting! Loved it.

Family run business with friendly early morning shuttle to airport following morning. Plane noise during the night due to proximity to airport which is expected given location. Beds were comfortable and clean sheets. As in a gated community no evening eating options so needed to order uber eats which isn’t a problem. Left so early couldn’t have the included breakfast so can’t comment on that.

Perfect stay for the night before our flight home! The neighborhood is so quiet and felt very safe. It is a beautiful property and our room was very comfortable. It was late when we arrived but easy to order Uber Eats to the house for dinner. The owner was very kind and so helpful - he drove us to the airport at 3 AM!

Very nice, small Bed & Breakfast that is very close to the airport. English is spoken here and rides to and from the airport make this an easy decision. Staff very helpful, even storing our suitcases when needed. Rooms and bathrooms are adequate. Located in a gated community.
