Maria's Place

We enjoyed our vacation in Oia and the accommodation at Maria's Place. The host, Anna helped us a lot with information about the Island, best restaurants near by, organized the best guide for out short trip around Santorini. The hotel is very clean, quiet, having a fantastic pool, very nice view and is close to Oia city center. Good breakfast with local specialties. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was breathtaking, with stunning views, the room was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making us feel truly special. It was an unforgettable experience, and we would love to come back again. Our stay at this hotel in Oia was simply perfect. The location was peaceful and convenient, close to everything yet quiet enough to relax. The room was stylish, very clean, and comfortable, with great attention to detail. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. It was the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Santorini. We would definitely stay here again!

Was my stay perfect? Not quite. The hot tub on my balcony never really warmed up and the shower was a bit cold.||However, that is where the negatives stop.||I cannot give Maria’s Place anything less than 5* , becuase Anna, the host, is the most friendly, charming and helpful lady. Every morning at breakfast I watched her greet guests with an enthusiastic “good morning!” as if we were staying in her own home. ||The breakfast selection was a generous continental selection. Some of the pastries were very good.||The view from all corners of the hotel is outstanding. You could easily spend a day lounging around the pool given it’s phenomenal sea views, but I didn’t have time to sunbathe as I was out and about exploring the island.||My room had everything I needed, and the view from the balcony was fantastic.||Maria’s Place is around a 20 minute walk from the centre of Oia, but I would dare anyone to complain about the walk given the stunning caldera and sea views throughout.||There is also a supermarket at the end of the road leading to the hotel (5 minute walk) which is open until 11pm.||A genuinely lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings.

Host was really nice, she gave us very good advices. Room was clean and big. We had our privacy. Close to bus stop. 20 minutes walk to the center of Oia.

Very nice welcome, we were given all needed information and very useful advice and recomendation about the city. Nice pool, quiet place, good breakfast but the cats are all around the place whete people eat. Location is good, neat bus station and around 20mins walk from the center of Oia.

We’d go back here in a heartbeat. Although there’s a whole world to explore, this would be a place to which I’d be happy to return. Anna as a helpful, knowledgeable and perfect host along with the staff make this place so pleasant, so much that going home is a hard choice. Breakfast was fabulous, the rooms were great and comfortable and the facilities are great. There is plenty to see within a walk and plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy. Car or scooter hire, buses and taxis are all available nearby and the sunsets are available free within a short walk while enjoying a cocktail. Enjoy.
