I have tried Maria's several times using Doordash and have enjoyed their interesting selections of entrees and appetizers. Today I decided to dine-in for the full experience. They were well-staffed and all the staff I ran across were quite friendly. The hostess even came to check on me mid-meal and we had a nice conversation. The server checked on me at exactly the right times. I ordered the Cream of Crab soup to start. It was tasty and had just the right amount of crab in it. I followed that with Mushroom Caps filled with crab cake "Imperial" and they were very good. The main course was a Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with Greek-style oven roasted potatoes and roasted vegetables balsamico. I was too full from my starters to truly enjoy the main course. The crab cake was pretty good and it of course was more enjoyable with some Old Bay. I was not a fan of the side dishes though. They were cooked well and presented nicely, I'm just not a big fan of that style of preparation. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked. Over all a great experience. Lots of unique dining areas to hold large and small groups.

I ordered for pick up, a crab cake entree with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. As well as an order of Philly cheesesteak eggrolls. Over all my food was a 2.5/5. The crab cake platter was very plain and I would not get it again. The crab cake lacked flavor, the broccoli was very hard and also lacked flavor, the mashed potatoes were solid, I literally picked them up with my hand and it was like a ball. The cheesesteak eggrolls were a bit subpar. They were a bit dry but they were flavorful. Overall, I wouldn’t order here again.

We have eaten here many times when we wanted a quality meal in a casual place. It has never disappointed. Over the weekend we chose to use the event space for a small wedding and reception and that is where this place truly shined. The food, the staff, the pricing was all more than we could have ever hoped for. Our guests couldn’t believe how much food we served and how good everything was. The bartenders kept everyone’s drinks full and that alone was a task with our group. We were a bit disorganized because I’m a type B bride and the staff pivoted with us perfectly. They didn’t miss a single thing despite some of our on the fly requests. Not only did they handle everything we threw at them seamlessly they were so kind. After the event we had a daunting amount of decor to pack up, and nothing to do with it after so we asked Oscar and his staff if they wanted any of it for personal or restaurant use and to our surprise they said they would break it down and keep it. I’m not sure if they would always want to do this but it was just another way they truly took care of every detail. We did our food family style and that was such a special choice too as it truly made it feel more intimate and fun. If you have an upcoming event I couldn’t think of a better place to do it.

Pulled up for their Saturday happy hour and I’m thankful. Great food, bartenders and atmosphere. Ordered the following: Green tea shots: Strong, good $5 Lamb chops: well seasoned and juicy Wings(Thai chili sesame): $10 for 8. Sauce was good Boom boom shrimp: I wish it had more sauce, still good Steamed shrimp: Amazing. You have to peel yourself Mushroom caps: super good. Crab cakes on top of mushrooms

Placed our order, and the drinks took forever to come. Love the broccoli, but I asked for it to be cooked a little longer, and that didn't happen. The Tomahawk short rib was delicious, fatty, but good. I just wished I could have gotten more of that gravy it was cooked in. The others at my table had crab cakes, which they said were delicious, and I agreed. Lastly, the wait staff did their best, but the owner of this restaurant really needs to hire additional wait staff. Service is slow.

7/30/25 Got take out from Maria's. Crab cakes. Outstanding. Had dinner with my wife and another couple. Our server, Margo, was friendly and efficient. She was available when we needed her and never too obtrusive. The ambiance and decor were fine. The place was pretty full so there was lots of background conversation. I was wearing my new hearing aids so I was able to hear most of the conversation. I ordered Hunter's Cheeseburger. Two excellent patties with bacon, lettuce, tomato, two kinds of cheese, hot peppers, and salad dressing. It was named after one of the employees. Hunter is a genius. This was the best burger I have ever eaten. I had grilled veggies instead of fries. The veggies were delicious. My wife had the 8 ounce crab cake. It was excellent. I highly recommend Maria's in Reisterstown

Yelp
Never disappointing . Everything you would expect from a 1st class restaurant. Great happy hour and great menu. Different specials all week. Max and Oscar are the best. See Paula when you get there and Hunter as well.

Yelp
Yall this place has been like an urban legend to me for the longest time. People would say they have been and I should go and I have never even seen it. The reason being becuse while ppl say Maria's is in Owings Mills and its not, its 10 minutes away from actual Owings mills. So this place is very disjointed and large. When I walked in it was like a regular sit down restaraunt, a group of people were playing mahjong as well so thats cool. I headed back to the bar where it got infinitely more noisey and chaotic. Apparently this place has happy hour starting at 11am!?! Isnt that when you open? Im not looking a gift horse in the mouth but this cant be sustainable especially when you only have one bartender. THe day we were there the AC wasnt working so Im hot already and the one bartender was so nice but told us asap she was the only person working (remember this) So we order a couple bites and some drinks. My home girl orders a blueberry lemondade martini because sure that sounds good to her lol but when she gets her drink its just a lemon drop. We ask the waitress wht the drink was and she says I dont know I just dropped it at the table I didnt make it. Ok sure but you saw no blueberry in anything so maybe ask a question? The listed cocktails were bad, real bad, micheal jackson bad. I would just get call drinks because the horror of ordering a crush to get a cup full of regular ice and some syrupy mess almost made me cuss out loud. the food was basic bar food nothing blew us away and I wouldnt order anything again. Everyone else seemed to be having a good time (I guess when happy hour is pretty much all day you cant help but be happy?) Well I could help it, I wasnt happy and probably wont go again till someone else suggests it (and I will have some other suggestions) I will forever hold the Crush debacle against Marias

Yelp
I love the food at Maria's. They have a restaurant area and a bar, and I typically sit at the bar side. They have a daily happy hour which has a great selection of food and drinks. Brunch is on the weekends until three. The service is amazing, especially from Ben! My favorite things to get are the wings, the blackened shrimp, quesadilla, and the Maryland style pasta. I also like to go on Mondays for crabcake night.

Yelp
Came here for a Father's Day Brunch for my Father-n-Law with Family members. This is my second time visiting Maria's and the Food is always good and service exceptional. The Servers are nice, professional and efficient. They accommodated us with a cozy private dining room. I can't wait to return soon.

Yelp
I set in the bar area the also have a restaurant area. They have multiple tvs playing different games also have music playing. They have daily special I went on a Wednesday to get the crab leg special which I really enjoyed $20 for 1b of crab clusters and two sides. The food came out fast, the waiter come over promptly.

Yelp
Really great food and dining experience at Maria's. It's the perfect local spot any day of the week. Biggest menu selection, from Greek inspired dishes to pastas and meats. There is truly something for everyone. The dining room is quaint and quiet and the bar area is lively and busy. Service is great!

Yelp
The service was EXTREMELY SLOW! The food was pretty good . We were there for nearly 3 HOURS mostly due to the poor and slow service. My previous experience there was much better...not sure if we will return

Yelp
Amazing! Everything we had was good! Crab balls were huge, bang bang shrimp were jumbo - even the slaw was on point & everybody does not make good slaw! Everything well seasoned and worth the money - the New Orleans chicken and shrimp is enough for 2 hungry people. We will be back!

Yelp
Most of the food here has been really good. They have an extensive menu, like 4 of them! Hey also offer brunch on Sat and Sun. I always enjoy the wings, chicken kabobs, grape leaves (dolmades), Hawaiian burger, fries, potato wedges. I have also had the pizza and pasta which were good. I didn't like the cheesesteak egg rolls. Service is usually good. I've done both dine in and carry out. Their desserts are good. My favorite is the Smith Island cake. They have a bar area in the back. During the week the Happy Hour is like 11am-7pm!!! That's one of the longest Happy Hours! It can get loud in the bar area and music isn't censored. They do have a separate dining area that is more quiet and intimate, if that's what you're looking for instead.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the food, drinks and ambiance. I had the crab cake. It is really big with no filler so if you are a crab cake lover, this is the place to Pick one up. They do not disappoint! Jumbo lump all the way through. My husband had the stuffed salmon and once again they did not disappoint. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Maryland. The drinks were also good. Whenever I'm in Baltimore I drink grapefruit crushes and the bartenders nailed it! My husband was driving so I was able to have a few!

Yelp
The food was decent at Maria's but the service was just too chaotic for me to justify coming back. This is how the entire experience went. We walked up and noticed they had an upstairs balcony. We were told we couldn't sit there because they was no server to work the space. Okay no problem, we sat inside. While going in to sit down, we were told their credit card machine was out, so we had to pay in cash. They noted they had an ATM on site we could use for fee. okay let's just hope its working by the time we leave because we already drove 20 minutes to get here. On their menu, they have chicken wings. I asked the server were they baked/grilled or fried wings. She said I could have them prepared however I wanted. I ordered grilled and they proceeded to come out fried. She was confused clearly. My party of 2 was seated at a 4 top table created by 2, 2 tops pushed together. We order several menu items to share, so we needed all the space. As our food was coming out, we were told they needed to take one of the tables away from us for a party coming in. Now we had to find a way to get all of our food onto a small 2 top. It was uncomfortable. Lastly, when the bill came, we were charged regular price for everything, although we had requested the happy hour menu. The server was confused again. The manager did come to correct the bill afterwards but it was just the final straw by this point. We were able to pay by card by this time, which was a plus!

Yelp
I love Maria's Reisterstown. The food is amazing. Fresh and tasty. The menu offers a large assortment of dishes to choose. The bartenders and servers are very nice. I have sat in to dine and I have catered out. The catering was a last minute decision. Oscar sat down with us assisting us in our menu choices making it so easy. When we picked up the food it was fresh, hot and delish! All our guests raved about the food. The ambiance in the restaurant is cozy and the bar is separate thru doors; filled with local friends gathering for a good time. Best crabcakes around! Tasty lamb chops, zesty shrimp - all around good menu, great weekly specials and prices.

Yelp
Let me start with the immediate problems: - Ants on the table. Second, our pizza was so base we sent it back to take off the menu. We ordered a vegetable pizza and immediately noticed the crust was undercooked, the sauce tasted like it was canned, and the vegetables Frozen. It had no flavor. I was disappointed that after sending it back, I one showed any concern or tried to make it right. Third, the chicken parmigiana was overcooked, and dry and the pasta that came with the dish was also clumped together and the sauce dry Fourth, I can't wrap my head around this menu. It's supposedly Italian, but there's bar food, middle eastern, and more. It's throughly confusing. Lastly, we noticed that the kitchen staff weren't wearing hair nets, so that goes along with the lack of cleanliness (bathrooms were also gross). Save yourself a trip and choose elsewhere.

Yelp
The food is excellent. All four meals served were perfectly prepared. The service was good. (Could be improved with more visits to the table.) The ambiance is okay; nothing special to talk about. I like it here. In addition to Monday - Thursday specials they have Guinness Stout on tap.

Yelp
A restaurant with a party hall on the upper floor and a bar in the rear of the restaurant. The staff moved quickly to have guests seated on a busy night of St. Patrick's Day. Wait with no reservations wasn't bad at all. Although service was a tad slow once seated. The menu is large. We ordered crab dip as an appetizer. The appetizers/ tapas menu looks nice and extensive. My friend enjoyed the stew and piled high mashed potatoes. I ordered the bronzini and unfortunately did not enjoy it. The fish had a very minimalistic flavor profile, just olive oil and the charred flavor. I'm was so not to my liking that I sent it back. I do not like to send food back unless there's something significantly wrong with it. The waitress quickly brought out my next meal which was shrimp and crab fettuccine Alfredo. This dish was good. Nice large shrimp and crab featured. Although I added pepper and it was more of a butter cream flavor not Alfredo but still good. For drinks we enjoyed the mules and pineapple upside down martini- absolutely delicious!! Looks like a nice happy hour menu, would like to try it some time.

Yelp
I called to book a reservation for my daughters graduation party. I kept being put on hold which, I understood. After nailing down the date and time, I was told that my party of 20 could not be accommodated at the same table. I asked was it because of the length of notice I was giving (two weeks). She said no. I told her I was just there for a party and it was a table for over 20 people so I was confused because her response gave me the impression that the simply could not hold 20 people at one table. She put me on hold again, and when she returned, I conceded to two tables of 10 each, she stated "it has to be one check", and I asked why since she was sitting us at two tables. I asked shouldn't it be two checks, one per table. She put me on hold, and after about 5 minutes, the gentlemen introduced him as the manager and said "how may I help you". I said to him "I did not ask for the manager so you should ask the person who called you what they needed". He then asked me again "how can I help you". I again repeated I did not ask for a manager. He then began to overtalk me as I explained again that I didn't ask for the manager. I then decided I would take my business elsewhere. I called Linwood's Caterers and they were polite and could accommodate me. Its way too many restaurants in Baltimore County and when folks are making tough decisions about their discretionary spending, you should be a little nicer! I will never patronize Maria's Restaurant!

Yelp
Maria's is one of my go to's whether I'm dining in or getting take out... Definitely a hidden gem. The food is always good. The service is nice and the happy hour is A1. I've never had an issue while visiting whether dining in or take out. There are two separate sides for dining and then a separate area for the bar. There's an upstairs area also but I have yet to go up there. The take out area has a totally different entrance. I like that the bar is separate so that if you choose to have more intimate dining, you have that option. I was informed that the smaller dining room can also be used to hosts private dinners. My favorites would be the lamb chops, coconut shrimp, Chesapeake egg rolls, and the roasted vegetable balsamico (the one from the appetizer menu... if you get it as a side, it will be different) The parking lot is a shared parking lot but I've never had a issue finding a space.

Yelp
Maria's is my Cheers. Most of their food is good. I normally go after work for Happy Hour (which is great). Their HH menu has a large selection. Stay away from the artichoke dip though. There a diverse crowd and the music can be good (depending on the bartender). The prices are reasonable and the staff is attentive -when they're around.

Yelp
Appletini $10 Buffalo wings $13.99 Jumbo lump crab cake $24.99 Food 3.7/5 Ambience 3.5/5 Service 5/5 Visit this place with a large group of people for a bday dinner. The food i ordered although hot and fresh was not bad it was average. It lacked in flavor. Ambience was cool for what it was. This place seems like a nice local laid back scenery maybe cool happy hour very relaxed setting. Service was great our waiter was awesome , patient and helpful wish i would have got his name.

Yelp
We arrived @ 11am for a Birthday Lunch and sat for a total of 45 mins during a non busy time waiting for our Appetizers that never came! We(table of 3) orderd 2 Appetizers, The Lamb chops(very good) and the Spinakopita(Too well done) Fast forward 45 minutes later here there bringing our Full meal. We said "Um we never received our Apps, The waiter says" you never ordered apps all 3 said oh yes we did. We repeated our Apps, finally recieved that along with our meal and long story short the food was a little over done, dry, and Service is soooo SLOW! Bring a pillow& blanket be prepared to wait!

Yelp
I went to Maria's for a cheeseburger. I ordered the Maria's burger ,medium well and paid for the order and left a tip prior to the order being prepared. I told the girl to put the receipt in the bag. When I came back, I told them my name , and then two of the counter became confused . I told them that I had paid for the order when I ordered it. The young man then went to the computer to verify that it was paid for . I told him again that the girl took my money ,who was standing next to him . She then took the receipt, and showed it to the male. I asked them both why did they do al of that ? They insulted me and said "you never know". I told them I would not steal a hamburger . At this point I wished I did not tip them. Every time I have come in this place , they seem to be confused with taking an order. I felt insulted that they don't know what they are doing, and questioned me when I told them I had paid for it before I left. When I got home to eat the burger, it was dry and had no flavor.I am all for teens working and getting experience, but there should be supervised by someone older, who knows how to have a sense of customer service. I will not shop there anymore.

Yelp
A usual family go to spot was too busy to accommodate us and Maria's was a quick replacement. We'd never been there before and may have found a new favorite. With great looking dishes coming out of the kitchen while we browsed the amazing menus we were convinced we were in the right place. From Italian to Greek and even Mexican and American options we all found something we wanted to try. And that, we did so well!! Not a complaint from anyone was heard. We felt welcomed, comfortable and ultimately totally satisfied with our family dinner. Although busy, the staff never left us unattended or looking for their attention. Surely, going back for more!

Yelp
The good: Great happy hour offering and prices!! The bad: one waiter for the entire bar, ppl smoke directly in front of the entrance door (duh) that was horrible, they need to post signs asking customers to keep their voices down. It was unruly, people yelling conversation from one table to another. My friends and I watched ppl leave, annoyed because of the noise. We were annoyed but suffered through it.

Yelp
Maria's is a hidden gem. I have lived on this end of Baltimore county for almost 10 years and never heard of this place. I am so grateful for the last minute call from a friend for brunch. We walked in, I knew that the dining room vibe was not it that day so we asked for the bar area. As soon as we turned the corner, my spirit agreed. Lol. Our bartender was really nice and honest in her recommendations. They were short staff, but she made sure to acknowledge us and communicate when she would be with us. I wish every server knew that this is the secret to keeping customers. Acknowledge and communicate. I wasn't in a breakfast mood so I went with the honey old bay wings and french fries. The wings were pretty good; I would have liked a little more honey, but it was good; skin was perfect. They offer bottomless mimosa with a 4 drink max for $10. Some may say "well then that is not bottomless," but real talk, the 4 glasses were more than enough. And....it allowed me to exercise self-control. Lol. The prices for the the quality of food is amazing. When football season returns, I will be back at Maria's bar for sure.

Yelp
Food I'd always delicious. The service is outstanding. The bartenders make the best drinks.

Yelp
Wide variety of food; gyros, falafel, pizza, burgers, desserts, all apps, all good, many more to try. It has been consistently appealing to all in the family.

Yelp
Can't believe I've never reviewed Maria's. Have been here many times, always for take out. Tried many dishes, but the standouts for me are always the seafood pizza (yum!!!) and the crab cake sliders. They both deliver on flavor and satisfaction!

Yelp
A true hidden gem in downtown Reisterstown. My brother recommended Maria's after a birthday celebration he attended here. I was told the food was superb. So, i decided while i was in town to have my Ladies luncheon here. Based on reviews the place feels up fast so I called and made reservations for my party of 4. The restaurant is located on Main street , make sure you drive slow if you blink you will miss it. There is a small parking lot next to Maria's which is shared with several other businesses, during peak hours it probably fills up fast. We arrived at 1:30 pm on a Saturday and was greated by an amicable staff. Our party was seated immediately in the quaint dining room. The ambiance was cozy with dim lighting it felt like we were in someone's home. There is a bar area on the other side of the building which is good for watching the game or just just meeting up with friends for drinks. Everything was clean including the restroom. I was a tad hesitant about trying out Maria's due to the large menu. Typically too many options is not a good thing but I'm glad I came here. Our waitress was gregarious and attentive. Happy hour is 11am -7pm Monday- Thursday , Friday and Sunday 11am - 5pm. I had the Red Sangria and my cousin had the Pineapple Upside-down Martini, both were good. While I'm in town visiting Baltimore I only eat Crab cakes so of course I ordered the single Crab cake entree which came with two sides. The other members of my party also ordered the same dish. My Crab Cake was delicious, both sides items were equally as good. We all had the roasted vegetables and agreed that they were cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. My Ceasar Salad came with homemade Ceasar dressing which was on point. All the ladies at the table were pleased with their meals. To top it all off the waitress gave us all cheesecake, which was also yummy. I was overly impressed with Maria's. Prices are reasonable, the food is amazing, and the staff is fantastic. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Their happy hour is nice. Every day. Not fancy it always busy. The prices increased significantly for the food specials in the past year (sort of missed the Covid-in tease) but the drink specials are still good. If you're looking for god drinks and some decent finger foods, but MRiS for the nicely timed happy y - every day!

Yelp
I'm glad I came across this place while browsing on Yelp. I was starving when I came from the gym and I didn't want a heavy meal but I wanted something yummy to suffice. A quick call and I made my takeout order. It took about 20minutes. They have a separate area for pickup where you can get drinks and cakes to complement your meal. The wings were on point. Hot and juicy. The egg rolls were also fresh. All the ingredients mixed very well in the egg roll; a burst of flavor. A couple hot appetizers that were very satisfying. I will be back.

Yelp
This place is one of many that have been here at this location since I've lived in the neighborhood the past 17 years. We've never stopped in but on this day, we wanted to stop in to see this business was about. Wow, great decision! This place is easy to locate, plenty of parking, welcoming and friendly staff, and plenty of seating available including a large bar area w high tops. Another great bonus is this place has later hours of operation and that's something our neighborhood previously lacked. We were greeted by Nolan and ordered a Long Island Tea, Old Fashion, Chesapeake Chicken Breast Entrée, Old Bay Wings, Grilled Rack of Lamb and a Summer Salad. Everything came out quickly, well plated and piping hot. Happy Hour is offered 5 days a week from 11am - 7pm #WINNING!! This place is a neighborhood gem that we definitely appreciate and we will return to sooner than later.

Yelp
Maria's has a huge menu (think Cheesecake Factory-sized). I don't love to have 1000 options but slowly I will work my way through their menu. I'm a repeat customer. It's a local spot that's perfect on a Saturday night and you have no idea what you want to eat. There is something on the menu that will tickle your fancy. My go-to's are apps and salads because I'm practicing portion control. The salads were cute and delicious. Their housemade vinegarette is delicious. Their seafood eggrolls are also yummy. I'd recommend this spot if you too, like me, are indecisive AF about what you want to eat MOST of the time :-)

Yelp
Food is mouth watering. Husband love food so much we drive 1.5 hours away to come here.

Yelp
Big, but crowded tables. Good service. Our waitress was attentive and checked on us. We had a big party and she took care of us. The chicken deluxe sandwich was delicious. The dip platter was good but not enough pita bread. We had to get more. The sweet potato fries were overcooked, though.

Pamela W.

Yelp
The food at Maria's is very good. The service has declined. There is often no one to seat us when we arrive. There is often only one server in the dining room and long waits to get their attention. We keep going back for the food but its becoming frustrating to have such spotty service

Yelp
Is a very busy place in the cusp of being great. The food is good and the ambience is nice. The food was good. Have to go back to make a final decision.

Yelp
Sigh! We went back and were disappointed. This time we went on a Friday, which is a much busier day for this restaurant than a Monday (last visit). We again chose the bar area, mostly because there was no host out front and the dining room seemed pretty dark. Our experience was much different to our dismay. The bar area was fairly busy. We like lively, but what we don't like is yelling. A couple who wasn't at the bar ( side dining room) was talking extremely loudly and was monopolizing the waiters time discussing really personal stuff. The poor waiter tried to be attentive but at a certain point he should have walked away as there were other new customers waiting. We did get waited on after a while ( too long a wait), but the good took much longer to come out than before. The salad was just okay. Hubby's buffalo wings did not taste or look like buffalo-they had a dark sauce that tasted like burned bbq. But we were hungry and he didn't want to send it back. The only thing I really liked was the crab balls app. Not the best in the world but not bad at all. What really bothered us was that on a 19F degree night, the back door continued to be left open by guests and it wasn't heavy enough to close on its own. So we kept getting blasted with frigid air. Hubby had to close it once. Another staffer finished us up and ran our card. Both were nice, but they weren't as attentive as u know they can be. I'm thinking this may be the last visit-at least for a while.

Yelp
I would want to give it higher with you maybe if I go again, but I went today on a Monday. our waitress was great. The host was super friendly and attentive. If we needed something at the table, I would say the other staff do you need to have a better behavior when it comes to handing out food or when we're asking for napkins or ketchup because we felt very ignored and that aspect, the girl just seemed like she didn't wanna be there. but luckily our waitress came and double check what we needed, it was a nice environment. The food was excellent like I said I might come another day to try out qnd see I asked for cocktail sauce and I got salsa.

Yelp
Not much ambiance, quality Mexican authentic food. Reasonably priced service was fine.

Yelp
Poor organization. We made a reservation for 15 and was told they would call to confirm it. I called instead and they said they couldnt guarantee they would have a table. You would think a guarantee of a large party would be worth it to them. We will not be going to Maria's.
