We went with my 2 children 9 and 10, the hotel was much better than expected. |Hotel was clean, great amenities, staff very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough snow to ski straight to the hotel door however the hotel provided a free shuttle mini bus which was very easy and quick! |We had wonderful weather so I could sit outside in a t shirt while the kids played in the pools. ||It was very easy to hire the ski gear straight from the hotel, they also provided the children with ski lessons. And sorted the lift passes out for us.||The only thing that was slightly annoying is they don’t serve dinner in the hotel until 8pm, we like to eat quite early with the kids as they are exhausted from skiing all day. However loads of restaurants near by. ||Breakfast was brilliant loads to choose from. ||Great place to take older children to learn how to ski, we will be returning next year!

The hotel is definitely worth five stars. Very good service. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very rich. The ski room service was very good. Since there was little snow, the free transfer to and from the hotel worked well. Soft drinks were free in the minibar.

We climbed a hundred steps to reach the restaurant, and upon arrival at the reception, we were told that our small dog was not allowed inside. We were immediately directed to the terrace, without even being allowed to walk through the restaurant, and had to go around the side. However, the terrace was closed… My husband insisted, as we had a reservation, and after some persistence, we were finally allowed to sit there. The waiter was visibly annoyed, and the welcome was far from warm. To top it off, I didn’t even receive the dish I ordered, and the pizzas were of very poor quality. We were excited to try your restaurant, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a big disappointment.

The visit to the restaurant and hotel left a very unpleasant impression. The bartender, despite being polite and doing his best, found himself in an awkward situation due to the overall disorganization of the staff, which noticeably affected the atmosphere. The restaurant's prices were unjustifiably high: cocktails for €24 are simply outrageous, even considering the mountain location. The final bill was shocking! The hotel itself also failed to leave a positive impression: the atmosphere was gloomy and lacked comfort. Loud music was playing nearby, adding to the discomfort. The only positive aspect was the decent music from the DJ, but it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall disappointment.

,||I am writing to provide feedback on our recent stay at your hotel, which, unfortunately, was overshadowed by a few significant issues.||We stayed in a family room, and during our visit, my 19 years old son had a serious fall down the wooden staircase from the upper floor. The stairs were quite slippery due to their smooth surface, especially when wearing ski socks. To make matters worse, the skirting board of the staircase was loose and caused a sharp cut on his hand , resulting in bleeding and several bruises. This was very distressing, and we strongly recommend you address this issue to avoid similar incidents.||In the spa area, we noticed that there were no hooks to hang towels or bathrobes, leading many guests to place their items on the wooden benches. This caused confusion over whose belongings were whose. Additionally, the absence of comfortable loungers was disappointing. We also discovered that the outdoor whirlpool was closed, and the pool was initially unavailable until a complaint was made.||Although these experiences were unfortunate, we did appreciate the high quality of the food and the excellent service from your staff. However, for a rate of €800 per night for the family room, we expected a higher standard of safety and amenities. Sharing one bathroom/WC with four people and navigating a steep staircase at night adds to the impracticality of the setup.

A really frustrating visit. This could be a great hotel but just isn’t at present: there are so many things that are not right. I emailed the hotel after our visit and received a detailed reply straight from the customer service textbook, but at least they seemed to understand the issues that I raised. Otherwise, I would not be giving 5 out of 10. A hotel stay that started with no hot water for the first day of our visit and ended with being left waiting for transport for 50 minutes in the town square in sub-zero temperatures have left me feeling very disappointed. The Maribel should be better: it is expensive, there are a small number of guests and a lot of staff. We certainly did not get the experience that we expected. I wanted to leave by the end of day two, although we did stay for four.

One of the best ski hotels. Amazing professional service from the moment we arrived. I remembered their names; Salva, as soon as he saw us approaching the hotel, stopped shoveling snow and jumped up to assist us. And Javier invited us for a welcome champagne. We had a bit of confusion with our chosen room, but Javier and Ainoa resolved it immediately. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Thanks to the hotel's slope-side location, I could hit the empty, groomed slopes by 9:00 am and leisurely enjoy breakfast by 10:30.||Sierra Nevada may not be the Alps or Andorra, but it's great for a 3-4 day ski trip.||The restaurant service was flawless. Thanks to Juliane, Gloria, and Victor. During dinner, Chabo (Xavier) served us very professionally; thank you. The ski room staff was also professional and helpful - Yanick and others (unfortunately, I don't remember their names).||Special praise to the general manager Francisco and congratulations to such a fantastic team. I purposely placed this review in 3 stars because I mainly read such reviews myself. ||There was nothing to complain about. We will definitely come back again.||Jerzy & Lidia

The location is nicely situated next to the slopes and convenient for people who want to enjoy winter sports. Hotel also has its own parking on-site with free valet. The balcony overlooked the slopes but it would've been nice to have chairs out there to sit and enjoy the sun. It's hard to justify paying steep prices to stay here because it feels as though you don't get anything back for what you paid, unfortunately. Our room was incredibly dry and hot and there was nothing we could do except open the windows wide all night. The room is also quite small. The room was also right next to where people play pool and the music and people were loud throughout the night. The gym is small and has some essentials but misses the overall gym feel. The staff was friendly and tried to accommodate any issues we had. Free shuttle service is nice to get you down and back from the center (restaurants and bars).
