I cannot recommend ‘Marica B&B’ highly enough. We had a very short stay in Foz Do Iguacu and limited time to visit the falls after our arrival so Cristiane suggested we go straight to the falls after we got off our flight. She was at the airport waiting to greet us, assisted with our baggage and drove us to the National Park. At this point Cristiane assisted us while we purchased our tickets for the Bird Park, National Park and boat ride as we struggled to communicate with having little to no Portuguese. Cristiane planned our whole day for us down to how long she recommended we spend at each attraction. This enabled us to see and do everything we wanted in a short space of time - she’s an exceptional host that not only cares about the standard of her accommodation but also the travellers’ experiences in Foz Do Iguaçú. ||The B&B itself is stunning and in an excellent location. We stayed in the Lavender room which was beautifully decorated. Cristiane arrived early every morning to prepare an elaborate breakfast for us. ||Great B&B, convenient location, and above all else exceptional host - highly recommend.

My husband and I and our two sons booked two rooms and had plenty of space. Very nice home, private bath and fantastic breakfast each morning. Christiane (Great English!) and her husband were wonderful! We used the B&B service to see both sides of the Falls- got across the boarder with no problem. we walked to the mall for dinner--lovely stroll and were able to pack lunches for our day trips. We ordered in for dinner--Everything worked great and we loved our time in Foz do Iguacu. We highly recommend both the hosts and their home!

Our stay at Marica B&B was just amazing! The B&B is located in a safe neighbourhood and close to a bus stop. Rooms are nice and very clean. Cristiane is absolutely amazing and very helpful. She makes the best breakfast in Brazil. :) ||If you want to get there by public bus: Take the Centro-bus from the airport. It stops at the terminal in Foz and is about 4 BRL. From there you can either walk (about 20-30 minutes) or take another bus in the direction of the shopping mall JL (you don‘t have to pay again).

We spent here one night during the transfer back from argentina to rio.|Host is super nice and friendly.|There are around 3 rooms for guests in the house with privet bathroom each. We had the room 'ocean' with separated bathroom. |We were impressed how clean all is. For us it is the most important point. And it was on top.|Decoration of room is simple but you have everything what is needed for comfort stay.|For breakfast they make common table with all you can take and share: juice, yogurt, tea/coffee, ham, cheese, bread, cakes. For us it was sufficient.|Points to improve: they take only cash for payment, no shampoo, no bottle of water in the room. All the rest - excellent and very good value for money.

We stayed here for our 3 night 2 day visit to the area. The house is rather out on a limb in what appears to be a reasonably wealthy tree lined street. The outer is securely gated and also has an electric fence as do its neighbours! We were told we could walk to nearby restaurants (we never saw any close by, apparently they are in a shopping centre) but we choose to use taxis as it was a good walk 15 minute walk and as we didn't have long in the area we had no time to get our bearings. We did have a bit of hassle with the drivers finding the property though even with the correct address being given!||It would be very handy if a small booklet were placed in the room with a street map of the area & restaurant advice, along with other helpful info.||We stayed in the Lavender room which was small but as we weren't in it much it really didn't matter. Cleanliness was acceptable. However there is no hanging space..although there is a wardrobe, it is more decorative and shelved inside. There were a couple of hangers on the back of the room door though. The bathroom is a wet room affair, which is also set up for someone with mobility issues. The towels were rather threadbare & hard so perhaps a little more investment in this area is needed.||There is a communal kitchen area (we didn't use) but has kettle, fridge, iron, ironing board etc.||Breakfast was served from 8am...and very generous. Served at a large communal table (we never saw other guests though) scrambled eggs made to order, breads, ham, cheese, cakes etc etc. ||Cristiane, the owner speaks good english and is friendly & helpful as is her husband, who picked us up from the airport. They do not live on site but are contactable via WhatsApp. ||I arranged through Cristiane, airport transfers and a driver to ferry us about to both Argentinian side of the falls and Brazilian side. Pretty sure you can do this cheaper on your own but it was so nice to have someone arranged and waiting for us. NB: Be very very clear with what you want to happen with your timings, i thought i had but sadly it didn't go quite to plan (we wanted to get to the parks as they opened) thankfully though as out of season it didn't really affect our overall enjoyment. ||Overall for the amount of money we paid it was extremely good value, lets face it you're not in your room much on these type of holidays!

Excellent bed and breakfast place. You feel at home in Marica's place. Christiana the owner is a lovely person with very good English. She's there most of the time. She's the one who prepares breakfast. She gave us a lot of tips. Room We were staying in has very nice atmosphere and window so there's a nice breeze. Highly recommended.

I think the best thing about this B&B is Cristina. She is super welcoming, helpful and a super host, also speaks excellent English. ||Breakfast is out of this world and my bf is a chef and every morning the breakfast just made his day.||Very clean, lovely garden area where you can chill by the pool, close to the bus stop and a big shopping centre not far away. ||Definitely stay here you won't regret it!

The B&B is in a quiet neighbourhood 15 minute walk from the nearest shopping centre (huge with food-hall and many shops). Christiana, the host, was wonderful (English speaking) and gave us great advice about where to eat, shopping, and of course how best to see the Iguassu Falls. The accommodation was quaint, tastefully laid out, and very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding!
