Marietta's Mykonos

We stayed 3 nights at Marietta’s independent studio. Marietta took care of our arrival and met us at her place. The studio is centrally located, very clean and surprisingly also very quiet despite close to everything in downtown Mykonos. The views of the town from the rooftop terrace are great. Marietta gave us great advice on restaurants, beaches, etc. and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at this beautiful place for 8 days, and from the very first email exchange, Marietta was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She gave me amazing recommendations for the best places to eat, explore, and take stunning photos.||The location is ideal — just a short walk to Little Venice, the windmills, the Old Port, and the heart of town. It was the perfect base for discovering the beauty of the island.||Marietta and her staff made me feel so welcome and cared for. My room was always spotless and organized, and the highlight was my balcony view — the sunrises and sunsets were simply magical. Practicing yoga and meditation in that setting felt like something out of a dream.||One of the things that meant the most to me, as a solo traveler, was how Marietta took the time to connect. Every time I returned to the property, I’d stop to chat with her. She was always kind, warm, and made me feel truly heard and valued — like part of the family.||And to top it all off, she even drove me to the port to catch my ferry, which was such a thoughtful gesture.||If you’re looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully located place to stay, this is it. I can’t recommend it enough — and I can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Marietta’s accommodation in Mykonos. The place was beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located right next to the famous windmills and just steps away from the charming town with its small winding streets. It was also very convenient to reach the beaches, with easy bus connections from Fabrica or the Old Port. What truly made our stay special was the owner, who was amazing, so helpful, caring, and attentive to every detail. Her hospitality made us feel very welcome and well looked after. Thank you, Marietta, we had a beautiful time!

The apartment is great! It’s actually a suite, but not a hotel – more like an apartment, which makes the stay really cosy. Very clean, well looked after and comfortable. Excellent location, you can walk everywhere and the area is nice and quiet.||It has everything you need: good air conditioning, great shower, mini-fridge, iron, hairdryer, kettle, coffee machine, plates, cutlery and glasses. It comfortably fits up to 3 people.||A special mention to Marietta and her granddaughter – they’re amazing! Very attentive, caring and always full of great tips.||Important note: there are quite a few stairs and no car access right to the door, so it’s best to bring a small or easy-to-carry suitcase.

Fantastic owner, so kind and welcoming. The location is perfect, rooms are spotless, clean, change of towels every day and the shampoo and conditioner are provided daily. Location is also perfect, just a short walk to the city centre! I would highly recommend it!!

Marietta’s is located right in town next to the windmills. Our room was compact, but efficient, updated and extremely clean! This is the home she grew up in and she takes pride in sharing her stores and beautiful space and location, as well as giving wonderful recommendations for restaurants, bars and beaches. We had a semi private rooftop veranda which we enjoyed immensely. We took up a bottle of wine, some cheese and enjoyed the sunset from our own place every night. She is a gem and we would highly recommend Marietta’s to anyone looking to stay in Mykonos town.

Marietta is the best host you can get in Mykonos! She is kind, super helpful, and very accommodating. Her attitude to her customers is the definition of Greek hospitality! Her suggestions made our trip very successful. We stayed at the Studio, the room was spotless clean, in a great location, very close to all the shops and bars of Mykonos, and also quiet. Overall great experience, I would absolutely return!
