Empty bar on Sunday evening was a first red flag. They have a nice bar, but the bartender lacks skills, professionalism, and etiquette (eating while behind the counter). Their signature drink has only one savory option, the rest are more on the sweet side. Did not feel any gin to be honest.

- food & drinks so so, average - excellent service - outdoor quite hot & noisy - cocktails nothing special nor impressive, not much choices also

Puzzled by how others are reviewing this as a top gin bar of any kind. The bartender was inexperienced to which I have no issues if they need a recipe guide for drinks on the menu that aren't theirs, but I do find it problematic that the bar is misbranding (ie: Fevertree vs. Schweppes). Saw the bartender pour an already opened, unchilled can of the Schweppes in the picture for the drinks I ordered. The Mari Gin La and Kat Chai Suen Gin are watered down lackluster versions of a gin and tonic and gin sour respectively. Both drinks are made in a room temperature wine glass stirred with regular ice hence much of the water dissolving. Could see this spot being popular for post white-collar work hours but would recommend skipping if you're looking for a well crafted cocktail or serious for gin.

We picked MariGin for my friend’s bachelor party, and it was the best call. We weren't after anything crazy, just a spot for good conversations and a cool view. Luckily, we managed to book their private room, which was perfect. It meant we could actually talk and hang out without any noise or interruptions. The staff was great, they totally looked after our group and seriously, the food was great! Those truffle fries were absolutely killer. It's one of those rare spots that makes a night feel genuinely special without trying too hard.

Ambiance (4.5/5): Sophisticated, dimly lit. Excellent for conversations. Music level is appropriate. Gin Selection (5/5): Extensive. Covers all major profiles from London Dry to contemporary floral/citrus styles. Service (4/5): Professional and knowledgeable, though can be slightly less attentive when outdoor seating is full. Value (4/5): Premium pricing, justified by quality and location. Happy hour offers notable value. Conclusion: A top-tier establishment for gin enthusiasts.

We brought some friends visiting from overseas to MariGin, and it was the ideal way to show off the city. It’s sophisticated enough to feel special but relaxed enough that everyone felt comfortable. The bartenders were super fun, creating bespoke cocktails based on what our guests usually drink they totally loved the personal touch. It has that great mix of cool local style and international quality. It made for a great first impression and a fantastic, memorable evening without needing a huge, noisy venue.

I don't normally go to fancy places, but my son took me here. It was nice. The chair was very comfortable. The drink was a bit strong but tasted good. The young man who served us was very polite. It was a good place to sit and talk.

Went to Marigin with a few friends and had a really good time. The place has a nice chill vibe, music not too loud, and the mocktails were great. Perfect spot to hang out and talk.
