An 8-day Sailing Trip to This Part of the Caribbean Became My Family's Most Adventurous Trip Yet
"Departed from this bay aboard a 45-foot catamaran for an eight-hour passage that rapidly encountered eight- to 10-foot swells; captain Johan Gangardine—who rated these seas a five on a one-to-10 scale—explained, “When the Atlantic and the Caribbean converge,” he said, “it’s like a whirlpool.” As nearby peaks (including St. Lucia’s Pitons) began to disappear into a misty haze, dolphins jumped alongside the boat, white-bellied boobies dived for fish, and hardware clanked as ropes blew in the stiff breeze." - David LaHuta

"Marigot Bay, thecrown jewel of St. Lucia's harbors, is easy to fall in love with: Its nearly jade waters are dotted with sailboats, andbrighter green hills hugits shores. Even hard-hearted piratesfell forthis paradise.Take in views of the bay from the lookout, then spend a couple of hours down at sea level. There's plenty to do: You can stroll the boardwalk, stopping at various waterfront bars and dining spots, or try something more active and rent a catamaranor kayak atthe beach, or even hopa ferry across the bay tocatch the sun setting over the water."
One of the most Beautiful Enchanting places. We feel so lucky to have spent some time here whilst away in Saint Lucia. Truly a treasure with lots of little quaint shops and restaurants. Also home to the famous Doolittle resort and restaurant.

Marigot Bay has been made famous by numerous movies e.g. Doolittle’s using it as a backdrop.
It is a sheltered cove with beautiful scenery. We enjoyed our traditional coconut rum and the maritime atmosphere.
Boats come and go. What a lovely spot.

One of the most beautiful bays to visit with a pleasure craft in the Caribbean. A nice little beach that has post card picture quality. It very sheltered so that mooring buoy / anchor is quiet and calm. Decent restaurants are available, too.

Marigot Bay, St Lucia. Always has been and always will be the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean. Every day we look out at those views we think how lucky we are to have a place here !

Love it, great spot to chill. If you don't want to mess with the vendors then go to Doolittles, grab some drinks, and then you can use their beach area. Vendors are interesting people though, get yourself a Coco-Loco and a carved turtle from John.

Nice bay with resorts, restaurants and the famous Dr Doolittle's coffee. There's a free boat to access there. Very peaceful and calm, there's also a nice little beach to hang out.

Absolutely wonderful resort. The bungalows are tidy and beautiful, colonial decoration. The bars and restaurants are out of this world and the quality of the services are outstanding. The pools and the private beach accessible by free ferry are stunning. If I had to mention one thing though it would be to not be in a rush when ordering food and drinks as it might take some time but, there’s no rush when we are in holiday. The staff was very friendly and I can’t wait to come back again. Thank you so much
