My partner and I had a fantastic time at Marima Cottages! The Nelson unit was absolutely stunning – beautifully presented, private, and surrounded by forest, making it the perfect escape. The beds were super comfortable with electric blankets, which kept us cosy on the chilly nights. We loved every moment and will be coming back as soon as we can! Highly recommend.

A lovely stay! Very well appointed and great location. The main issue for me was the temperature. Yes it was a winter stay, and there is a very nice wood burning stove, but a more consistent and immediate heat would have been great. Even just buy a small Kmart heater or something and store it away in a cupboard with a note on where to find it. We had to buy a heater. Dressing warmly was not enough, and obviously the fire can’t be on 24/7. There was also no regular TV reception or WiFi- I think $50 would be a bit steep to access it. It’s nice to switch off but no reception, WiFi or regular TV is a bit much. A spade or something to clean the fire would have been good. Having said that, the place is beautiful. Thank you.

I can’t recommend Marima Cottages enough. It’ was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The cottage was beautiful and clean with everything we needed for a blissful break. The fireplace was ready to light on arrival, electric blankets on all the beds, perfect for the cold winter nights in the Pemberton forest, as well as getting to soak in the spa pure luxury. We fell in love with the serenity of the location, it was very hard to leave I can’t wait to come back.

Lovely quiet environment in the bush. 15 minutes from Pemberton and close to National Parks, hiking and nature photography opportunities.|Chalet was roomy, comfortable and clean. |A little phone reception with Telstra, but a good opportunity to get away. The small fridge could be an issue if you were there for more than a few days, but suited us fine. |

Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottages. There was an added charge taken from my account which I was not informed about. When I disputed this charge I was told by the owner that "this was a legitimate extra cost & would not be refunded, it was acknowledged that I should have been informed as opposed to looking it up in the fine print ". Such a pity that after an enjoyable stay the owner saw fit to speak to me in such an uncaring & dismissive manner. I will not recommend this as a friendly place to stay.

The most wonderful experience I've ever had away. Beats any hotel hands down. So quite, so clean and incredibly tranquil. Thank you so much for having us. We hope to have many more stays in the future and will highly recommend to all our loved ones.

Currently on our second night here and I couldnt be happier, when we arrived the cottage was clean and even smelt lovely, the bed is so comfortable and the corner spa was such a wonderful treat. If your looking for a peaceful , relaxing time away to enjoy nature and cosy up with some tunes and a fire, this is the place for you. Highly recommend and I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
If you are looking for a beautiful secluded cabin to get away to this is it. The cottages made from un polished red earth bricks, which as a Canadian I had never seen before. It gave the cabin a really natural feel, kind of like the Australian version of a log cabin! You checkin, book, and pay though the Pemberton Wine Centre, we arrived after hours so the cabin name was given to us prior to arrival and the door was unlocked. There is a fully stocked kitchen with a gas stove top and mini fridge so we were able to cook all of our meal which was great. There is also a good sized living room with a flat screen and about 15 movies to choose from. We came to Pemberton for my boyfriend Mark's birthday so having such a comfortable "home" was exactly what we wanted so that we could just stay in and really relax. The bedroom had a king sized bed (YAY!) and in the en suite there was a shower as well as a large spa. I used the spa every night, the jets were heavenly! To heat the cabin there is a wood stove which adds to the natural rustic feel, and you are supplied with a large pile of dry wood so there is no scavenging required. The Pemberton Wine Centre and the cottages are both run by the same family who live on site. They are very friendly and their family dog Aly was a welcome morning visitor on the patio each day. I also got to see my first kangaroos here as they liked laying in the sun on the grass by the wine centre. The scenery here is stunning, I cannot believe how much I fell in love with the Karri forests! If you like to have a secluded and private residence on your vacations next time you head south check out the Marima cottages, your only disappointment will be having to leave!
