We loved our time in the magnificent forest in our beatifully appointed Marima Cottage. It was so comfortable and well appointed. We were amazed at having luxuries like a heated towel rack and spa bath in this remote location!|It was paradise, and we loved the whole area, its a really special place|We highly recommend Marima, and hope to be back one day|Thank you for such a peaceful and rejuvenating experience

Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottages. There was an added charge taken from my account which I was not informed about. When I disputed this charge I was told by the owner that "this was a legitimate extra cost & would not be refunded, it was acknowledged that I should have been informed as opposed to looking it up in the fine print ". Such a pity that after an enjoyable stay the owner saw fit to speak to me in such an uncaring & dismissive manner. I will not recommend this as a friendly place to stay.

The most wonderful experience I've ever had away. Beats any hotel hands down. So quite, so clean and incredibly tranquil. Thank you so much for having us. We hope to have many more stays in the future and will highly recommend to all our loved ones.

Currently on our second night here and I couldnt be happier, when we arrived the cottage was clean and even smelt lovely, the bed is so comfortable and the corner spa was such a wonderful treat. If your looking for a peaceful , relaxing time away to enjoy nature and cosy up with some tunes and a fire, this is the place for you. Highly recommend and I will definitely be returning.

Lovely quiet environment in the bush. 15 minutes from Pemberton and close to National Parks, hiking and nature photography opportunities.|Chalet was roomy, comfortable and clean. |A little phone reception with Telstra, but a good opportunity to get away. The small fridge could be an issue if you were there for more than a few days, but suited us fine. |

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in January and absolutely loved it. From the beautiful drive in we were impressed. Secluded, quiet, very clean, well maintained, lovely view with thoughtful touches throughout the chalet. Cosy bed and couches. Ali, the owners’ gorgeous dog, visited us every day which was nice. Marina the owner made the effort to introduce herself and was very friendly and helpful. Wish we’d planned to stay longer. We’ll be back in winter so we can use the fireplace.

Amazing little cottage/chalet’s. Kept very clean with all the amenities you require. Very quiet location to enjoy nature’s music, with the kookaburra’s singing the sun to bed. A little fire is placed in the living area with fire wood provided. A perfect place to relax with a special someone and get away from the hustle and bustle of city living. The owners Lincoln and Marina also dropped off a parcel to our chalet, that had been sent to the local post office for us as a surprise. Would highly recommend this little retreat.

We stayed here for two nights an could not fault the facilities. The views were wonderful. The peace was what we needed. We didn't see or hear a soul. Plenty of firewood. The chalet was beautiful an clean with everything we required for our weekend getaway. Ali gave us a visit on the last day which was a welcomed surprise.

Yelp
If you are looking for a beautiful secluded cabin to get away to this is it. The cottages made from un polished red earth bricks, which as a Canadian I had never seen before. It gave the cabin a really natural feel, kind of like the Australian version of a log cabin! You checkin, book, and pay though the Pemberton Wine Centre, we arrived after hours so the cabin name was given to us prior to arrival and the door was unlocked. There is a fully stocked kitchen with a gas stove top and mini fridge so we were able to cook all of our meal which was great. There is also a good sized living room with a flat screen and about 15 movies to choose from. We came to Pemberton for my boyfriend Mark's birthday so having such a comfortable "home" was exactly what we wanted so that we could just stay in and really relax. The bedroom had a king sized bed (YAY!) and in the en suite there was a shower as well as a large spa. I used the spa every night, the jets were heavenly! To heat the cabin there is a wood stove which adds to the natural rustic feel, and you are supplied with a large pile of dry wood so there is no scavenging required. The Pemberton Wine Centre and the cottages are both run by the same family who live on site. They are very friendly and their family dog Aly was a welcome morning visitor on the patio each day. I also got to see my first kangaroos here as they liked laying in the sun on the grass by the wine centre. The scenery here is stunning, I cannot believe how much I fell in love with the Karri forests! If you like to have a secluded and private residence on your vacations next time you head south check out the Marima cottages, your only disappointment will be having to leave!
