Marina Bay Sands Theatre

A grand theatre for shows and musicals. The choices and variety of featured musicals are great. I have came to watch many musicals here. However, the management should make sure all audiences can view the whole props, casts and scenes. There was a scene where I was very annoyed. I could not view what was going on. It was blocked by a hanging speaker. (I have highlighted in one of my photos). This was not the first time. Last visit during the sound of music, the casts were totally blocked by the curtains! Also, the ushers should be more courteous in advising audience on the restrictions of photography. One usher was a little rude, telling me NOT to snap any photos of the musical. I was not taking any photos during the show BUT when I entered and was about to sit down, that was more than 30mins before the show started! Another usher came to explain to me that I can take photos before the show, or after, but not during it is on. That is totally fair and polite. There was also a lot of slamming of the door during the show. Ushers should control this at the door or maybe the management should advised the audience to try to go to the washrooms only during intermission in order to avoid disturbing the show. Apart from all these, MBS is doing an excellent job in getting these world class musicals into the country.

Conveniently located, lots to offer within the mall before and after the shows. Clean toilets. Clean seats. Gorgeous waiting area. Stage seems smaller than the ones in Broadway and West End.

Entrance is inside the shopping mall. Once pass the entrance it seems to transfer you to another place with a whole new structure. Impress with the design

My teen daughter and myself had been provided excellent wonderful impeccable services from the security tix entrance, the retail food& drinks stalls, souvenir stalls and the ushers from Matilda 6th April 2024 to Hamilton yesterday 25th May 2024. And will surely treasure the security usher Simon who was a professional alongside his very courteous and friendly personality on 3rd Floor. Thank you very much to all of you as I really appreciate it.

It seems that MBS doesn't really take into account the feedback about the poor quality of their security services. Asking guests to throw away outside food is a ridiculous and wasteful practice that needs to be addressed. Suggest better solutions instead of wasting food. Worst Service Ever!!!!!!

The staff, Jacqueline, at the ticket counter who talked to the customers, is very rude. She must learn how to be more patient and accommodating with the questions.

Watched "Sound of Music". The show was amazing but the seat condition (door 15, row E47) is bad compared to cinema seats. The armrest is hard, seat is uncomfortable, shaky and when the person next to me was talking with her friend, my seat was vibrating. Hope management could look into upgrading the seats
