Marina Cap Monastir - Appart Hôtel

Large apartment with the bedroom on the second level which was nice. The apartment is well equipped. I really enjoyed the private balcony area overlooking the marina. It had lovely morning sunshine.

Good things: Great location right in the city center. The area is full of restaurants, peaceful and quiet, with many local cats that we fed and that are very much loved here. It’s just a few minutes’ walk (uphill) to the Ribat, and we visited the wonderful Oriento restaurant nearby every day. Bad things: The WiFi was terrible – it was impossible to do anything despite trying to connect to different networks in the aparthotel. I also suggest replacing the bed – it creaks a lot, which is not a pleasant experience even when simply turning over.

I have been really impressed with the Tunisian people, so friendly and welcoming. |The bar and restaurant staff are fantastic and not the mention the animation team ( especially Leo and Steve) always working so hard to make your holiday amazing. |The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are beautiful. Definitely recommend

Great spot to stay around the marina. The rooms with a balcony have a great view over the port and the staff is very friendly

DON’T BE FOOLED This place used to be good but due to a severe lack of maintenance is now garbage. The rooms are so badly ventilated the air is heavy to breath. The sink is blocked, the bidet is also blocked, there’s even mold on some spots.

I stayed at Marina Cap for two nights and was amazed at the view of the Marina that I woke up to every morning. I had an amazing view during sunset, sunrise and mid-day. So it is definitely worth the view! I stayed in apartment 313 which was an apartment with a kitchenette and fridge downstairs and the bedroom, bathroom and balcony upstairs. The bedroom was spacious and had a large table for dining and other purposes. The apartment also has a stove and sink where I prepared my meals. ||The room decor was all in white and blue which was beautiful and calming.||The hotel is more of a self-service so the room was not cleaned daily as I was there on a short stay, but not sure if they clean for longer stays or only when clients ask them to do so.||Service can be improved as I arrived at night and was given the keys to my apartment and directions with no help with my luggage and it took me some time to find the room, so it would be helpful if the hotel staff could help. ||During check-out the reception did not have change and told me when I returned for my back later on they would provide my change, but they did not. ||Overall, it is a great place to stay at a great value with an amazing view.

The room is big and wide and the view and location is very good but the room and the toliet need a better cleaning

Besides the beautiful marina, we found the apartment cozy for our short stay where we could cook and did our laundry.||Clean and has enough cooking utensils plus dining set.||A/C - warm enough for winter. ||Location - best if you had a car as it is a little distant from the city center.||Parking - available nearby but maybe limited during peak season.||We got there late Friday and understood that the management office is closed over the weekend. Should check upon booking on how to get your keys if you arrive on a Saturday.
