Functional but perfectly comfortable room. Great pool area. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay - nothing was too much trouble and always smiling. It’s worth staying here for the breakfast alone - fantastic choice of cereals, pastries and cakes as well as beautifully prepared eggs, bacon and sausages. Superb coffee made to order. The breakfast room it is served in is bright and beautifully decorated with a fabulous panorama along the coast. Didn’t use the spa so can’t comment. Would certainly stay here again.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, our experience was absolutely outstanding—largely thanks to Serena. She was phenomenal in every way: warm, knowledgeable, energetic, and genuinely passionate about ensuring guests have a great stay. She's truly one of the best hospitality professionals we've ever encountered and made a lasting impression on our trip. Every interaction with Serena elevated our stay and made us feel not just welcome, but cared for. Her attention to detail, recommendations, and positive energy set the tone for our entire visit. Also worth mentioning is the lovely woman who made coffee in the mornings—she was so sweet and kind, always starting our day with a smile. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety, and the rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were perfect, and the air conditioning worked wonderfully—a huge plus during summer travel. Pool and pool staff were excellent. Out of all the places we stayed during our two-week trip through Italy, this hotel was one of our absolute favorites. We would return in a heartbeat!

On first impressions on arrival it had the wow factor. Clean and inviting from reception to the rooms. Rooms were spacious and clean. Fresh towels each day. There was a kettle but supplies weren’t always stocked up. |Breakfast is why they didn’t receive 5 stars. |All staff very friendly|Pool clean but I don’t really think there is enough beds for the hotel if it was to capacity. Range of drinks available and snacks that are probably left over from meal times. Great views and easy access in to the centre. About a 20 minute walk to the bus station but no paths so not to safe for the walker.

Recently back from a wonderful 10-night stay at this lovely hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and were so fast to respond to questions on WhatsApp. They helped with numerous restaurant bookings, excursion information, organised airport transfers and directed us to the local Saturday market. ||Breakfast was a highlight of the day - the staff soon knew exactly what coffees we wanted each morning, the buffet was always full of freshly made savoury and sweet delights (try the pistachio cake!) topped off with an amazing sea view. ||The hotel's location is perfect - set back from the road, totally peaceful and quiet, but close enough to easily walk to all the restaurants and the port. The pool area, like the rest of the hotel, is very clean and well maintained with great views out across the coast. It did get busy but we always managed to find sunbeds and the lemon granita from the pool bar was fantastic - perfectly tangy and refreshing. Although it would have been handy to be able to get a snack for lunch at the hotel, it did mean we got a little more exercise on the short walk down the road. ||We highly recommend Gelateria Vernaci for amazing ice creams (loads of flavours, generous portions & great value - we went every day after discovering it!), Gusto for the best pizzas (went back on our last night it was so good), Arche for a lovely lunch (great arancini & granita), H80 Fame for delicious seafood and La Tonnara for a special dinner with lovely views of the marina (finished off with a sweet Marsala wine).

We just returned from our honeymoon and stayed here for 8 nights. We have traveled extensively and can easily say this was our favorite hotel ever! The staff were absolutely warm and welcoming. I will miss them! Shout out to Denise and Serena! The hotel was spotless, the beds were amazing. The pool was a dream and breakfast was great. It was so easy to walk to all the wonderful restaurants in the city center and the marina! We found wonderful live music, wine tastings and easy transport to excursions and the airport. I already miss this place. They made us feel like we were home. Hope to return some day!

Hotel was located in a convenient location very close to the centre. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The pool was lovely and so refreshing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice and the ladies made me an iced coffee on request. This hotel could only be improved by changing to adults only.

Superb hotel in a brilliant central location!! Very clean and well equipped rooms, ours was on the 1st floor, so had a wonderful view of the sea and the mountains. Breakfasts were simple and delicious. Really good spa onside too. Wonderful spot for discovering beautiful Castlemarre!! Thanks guys...we will be back!! Hugh

As a previous reviewer said I too have mixed views. Same experience re sea view room with balcony (disappointing) so we opted for a side view room which I found much more pleasant. Spotless room, good breakfast, friendly staff. We were driving so picked this hotel for its parking, inter alia. Was a bit put off by the midnight drive up to the hotel. It’s central but located just when the town gets a bit nicer - it’s quite grotty until that point. ||No pool bar in May. No lunchtime food options so it’s not really a longer by the pool kind of place. Staff are generally lovely except whoever parks his car to block in the guest cars (was it the manager? It happened several times). And then there was a mix-up over the bill which took more insistence than it should have to sort out. Unfortunate. ||Overall very good but

we did not stay here, but our friends did and they recommended it very highly. I will definitely stay there next time

Amazing hotel. Great stay. The owner of the hotel is very accomodating and helpful with whatever questions you have. The pool is beautiful with a great view. Rooms are spacious and most have an outside balcony that allows for great relaxation.
