Marina Resort

Very pleasant greeting from staff, new and refurbished resort with beautifully presented rooms. We were given top floor with an amazing view of the marina. Room and bed very comfortable with great bathroom. Pool was very refreshing with stylish seating. Still getting organised with newly opened. We wish them all the best with this resort. We will be back and will recommend to everyone. Thank you guys! 🌻

Wonderfully renovated, everything within easy walking distance, very helpful and friendly reception. We stayed in room 303 which has perfect water/marina views. Complimentary mineral & still water, plates and cutlery are a nice touch. Also, a good size table on the balcony is super handy. We'll be back again and can not see any reason to stay anywhere else.

Rooms were clean and tidy and gives off great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and hospitable and Reggie is so good with kids Location is walking distance to shop and the marina. The pool is perfect if you don't want to drive to the beaches and just have a quiet time for yourself.

What a great resort. Lady at reception was amazing and nothing was too much for her. Rooms were amazing, shower was great, bed was sooo comfortable and very clean and the view from the balcony was exceptional. Pool looked amazing as well just to cold for us this time of the year. Highly recommend.

The newly refurbished room was absolutely gorgeous. The decor is stunning with great attention to detail. Super comfy bed, balcony with a fabulous view, and excellent location that's easy walking distance to the many restaurants. We totally loved staying here and will definitely be back soon.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and enthusiasm especially from the furry concierge- Reggie! The lady at the front office, Karen and Steve gave us some exceptional recommendations for what to do and where to eat in the area, it was obvious they are proud of their local area. The room was as gorgeous- plenty of space, beautiful views and great amenities. An easy 5 star resort and will definitely be coming back. Thankyou for the beautiful stay!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most incredible stay at The Marina Resort! The property is absolutely stunning, super close to the town, peaceful surroundings, and perfectly maintained grounds. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and designed with a relaxed coastal charm, making it the perfect place to unwind. The staff were so warm and welcoming,The pool area is very fancy, you do not feel like you're staying in a small town! And of course… special mention to the best bell boy ever Fluffy Reggie 🐾. He absolutely stole our hearts and made our stay even more special. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway. We can’t wait to return! ✨🌊

My family of 3 stayed here for one night and it was the best experience. The service and resort itself was beautiful! The location was perfect, front facing the sea and also walking distance to many restaurants/shops - highly recommend The Buoys at the Bay for food. The owners was amazing and extremely lovely, they treated us like family. They also provided a brand new cot for our 6 month old baby! I can’t wait to stay here again and especially during summer when the renovations for the pool will be finished! Highly recommend.

I only stayed for a night but found a pretty good late deal online and confirmed with them. I was just popping into the Bay to visit my brother who lives nearby. My journey to the Bay from Sydney was twice as long because of trains breaking down and buses taking forever. I phoned to let them know I was still coming and the lovely reception stayed back half an hour to ensure I was checked in and able to get to my room. The room itself was I guess what I'd call a triple; a double and two single beds - a bit much for just little old me but a really decent sized room. Although it was dark, there was a view of the pool - not being used this time of year but I thought about what it might be like IF I used it! It was clean, beds were well made. The bathroom had a bath and shower (separate) and a really good dispenser system in both the shower and basin. I don't see this in a lot of hotels. I didn't use it but there was a fridge, microwave and TV. You also get a free Wi-Fi code which is good, not sure how many MB's, I only used it for a little bit. After I checked out and was on my way back to Sydney, I realised I had left behind my book and umbrella and they kindly agreed to take it to my brother - it's the Bay attitude, generally very friendly and helpful. I'm 5+ months pregnant and the only pain in the backside thing I can really mention is that getting into the resort from the bottom of Magnus street is annoying because it's uphill. Down, not so bad. The bus stopped right on Magnus outside. Decor is a little old-school but I wasn't in town for a posh, fancy holiday. This would suit a family trip for the weekend or outgoing couples not fussed about staying in an elitist property; you're in to sleep and out to play. Breakfast down at Baroque and a walk along the Marina was a nice way to end my stay. I'd book at Marina Resort again.
