How to Plan the Perfect Trip to Naples, Italy

We were told by my husband’s diplomat brother to make sure to visit when we are in Napoli. It’s an extraordinary store with extraordinary people. Maurizio was so lovely to us. He even gave my son and I a little gift, which I thought was a lovely gesture. We got ties for my brother in law and my husband. The best keepsake of our trip to Napoli. Was so happy to meet a fellow Pinoy in Tommy. He was lovely! I can only recommend this store for fine things for men like ties, cufflinks & cashmere scarves. We were not able to visit the showroom upstairs but the main store has the original furniture. The store is more than 100 years old. Maurizio was game to take a pic with us. The store was started by his grandfather Eugenio, then continues by his father Luigi and later his son Alessandro. It’s lovely to visit a store with so much history. Thank you for the unforgettable time! How lucky are we to visit a store that is beloved by dignitaries, nobles and diplomats all over the world?

Marinella in Naples is the epitome of timeless elegance and craftsmanship. Their ties and accessories are a perfect blend of tradition and style, made with unmatched attention to detail. The quality is exceptional, and you can feel the heritage in every piece. Whether you're looking for something classic or a bit more bold, Marinella delivers sophistication that never goes out of fashion. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine Italian craftsmanship!

Michela is top! What a nice and patient lady! She helped me to pick a perfect tie for my husband. I can’t make it without her since I am usually so hesitated in making choices. I am also very lucky to meet the owner Maurizio. Warm, gentle, always smiling, feels like a family member! He invited me and another lady for a special coffee. I will never forget the experience talking with him and feeling so welcomed. This place is the pearl of my trip in Napoli ❤️ Grazie a tutti!

Didn't buy anything here but the leather and ties look very good. They have an upstairs shop too!

Superb quality tie. Wide selection for every taste and style. Staff is helpful and has wide knowledge on how to match it.

The owner is a very nice person. Even though we didn't purchase anything this time around, we felt treated well. Will definitely be back to purchase something

I am visiting Italy quite often, once or twice every year, for business reasons mainly. I've been to many high quality tailoring brands, like Kiton, and I've never met this attitude before. The quality of the ties and scarves is undoubtedly exquisite, but the customer care is disappointing. I was looking forward to an experience in such a historical shop. You should be more helpful to the clients when choosing a tie, a scarf or other products. Tell us more about the brand, you should be more gentle, even to those who are not Italians. After all, if you want to be a well-respected brand globally, you should also speak English and not just put a bunch of products ahead of us and walk away. I was feeling as if I was annoying you. If it wasn't for the quality and the history of the brand itself, I wasn't going to buy anything. And that's all because of the terrible customer care.

Fantastic experience. Great collections of garments, accessories, and off course ties. Great Staff. A gem in the heart of Naples. It's historical importance is unmatched. Looking forward to going back. Congrats!

Yelp
I'm a great fan of Marinella ties, seven-folds, nine-folds, striped ties. I probably have at least two dozen of them. Highest quality, lasts for decades, great knots and dimples--It's one of my few guilty pleasures.

Yelp
The very best neckwear n the world, they can be snooty but once you start looking they are very nice and accommodating. I bought two ties there and the are gorgeous and beautifully made. Mr marinella could use a little lecture on not judging people but you can't beat this place!

Yelp
Marinella is world famous for good reason. We walked in to get a custom tie made for Father's Day. My husband wanted a lilac background, and they called their other location to see if they had any fabric that could be brought over. When the answer was no, they were happy to make some alternate suggestions including orange and ... white! We were intrigued by the idea of a white non-bow tie, so we looked at a few fabrics and found one we loved. We were leaving Italy the next day, so they shipped the tie to us, which was in my hands within 9 days of ordering it. Custom. Loved their service and love the tie!

Yelp
Must-see traditional Italian Thai make your boutique. I got here very early in the morning (before 7 AM) and there was already a long line outside the store. The quality of their ties was really impressive. All of them are handmade, and they are not expensive either (each tie was about 100 euro), definitely a lot of bang for my buck. I bought 4 of them, since then I stopped using the other brands'.
