Our recent charter on the Aquila 44 with MarineMax Vacations was, without a doubt, the best charter experience we have ever had. Having chartered with many other companies over the years, I can confidently say that MarineMax is in a class of its own. Unforgettable First Trip to the BVI – 5 Stars! 5 Stars simply is not enough! If we could give 10 stars, we would. Our first trip to the British Virgin Islands was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped aboard, we were treated like family and from start to finish, the crew of Drastak Measures exceeded every expectation. Professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, they made our trip unforgettable. “Captain” Paul Gage navigated the stunning catamaran with skill and confidence, while Danielle Gage went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout the journey. Their expert knowledge of the islands made every stop—from hidden coves to iconic spots like The Baths & Conch Island - feel like a private paradise. Whether it was fishing, dining at hidden gems, sightseeing, or simply relaxing on the water, everything was perfectly planned and executed. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel like VIPs. I would not hesitate to book with them again—highly recommended to anyone looking for a top-tier charter. This is my 4th time chartering with MarineMax and every time is a wonderful experience. Tammy is super helpful getting everything organized and booked and just a real pleasure to deal with. The staff at Nanny Cay are great, friendly and helpful. We chartered a 484 on our trip in February and as always the boat was clean and everything in working order. We were lucky to have near perfect weather for our trip and can't wait until our next adventure with MarineMax.

We have chartered several times in the BVI. Our crew have always preferred Marine Max in the BVI as they have always had the newest and best maintained boats. The planning and communication is by far the best of the best. Tammy is awesome as well as the dock team in Nanny Cay. We have never had a single mechanical issue in any of our 2 week Charters. You simply can't beat the Marine Max programs. We will continue to Charter with them. The Aquila 43 is our very favorite boat for 3 couples.

Unforgettable BVI Adventure with MarineMax We recently returned from an incredible trip to the British Virgin Islands, where we rented a power catamaran from MarineMax, and I can confidently say it was the experience of a lifetime! From start to finish, MarineMax exceeded every expectation, making our adventure seamless, luxurious, and truly unforgettable. First, the booking process was effortless. The MarineMax team was professional, responsive, and knowledgeable, helping us choose the perfect powercat for our trip. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The boat itself was in pristine condition—immaculately clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for our journey. Navigating the BVI was a dream, thanks to the stability, comfort, and power of our catamaran. Every stop—from the crystal-clear waters to the lively atmosphere of Jost Van Dyke—was made even better by the freedom and flexibility our boat provided. The MarineMax team also gave us excellent recommendations on hidden gems, snorkeling spots, and must-visit beach bars, ensuring we experienced the best of the islands. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. MarineMax went above and beyond to ensure our trip was stress-free and enjoyable. We have done three MarineMax vacations on the Aquila 443 and loved it! It is our favorite way to vacation. The boat is luxurious and the layout is fantastic. It is so comfortable cruising on this yacht, even in rare high seas. The main, king cabin is full beam so it is quite spacious and it has it's own bathroom. The other two cabins are smaller/cozy and each has its own bathroom. The fly bridge is absolutely amazing and its a great place to hangout at night. It has a large table which is great for dining, playing cards or just hanging out. Most evenings ended with us nightcapping on the flybridge and enjoying the water, lovely breezes and island lights. The flybridge also has a small grill which is nice for lunches or even dinners. The boat has an onboard water maker, generator and airconditioning. All of these are game changers, especially the water maker - no need to make stops just to get fresh water for showers, etc. The main salon is perfect, yes perfect. It has a nice-sized dining table for hanging out or trip planning. With the available satellite wifi we even lowered the table into a large couch and enjoyed a couple of Netflix movie nights! The kitchen in the salon is small but suitable for its purpose - burners, microwave, toaster, etc. There is also ample storage and refrigeration with a fridge drawer, freezer drawer and a huge onboard cooler. One of our many favorite things about these boats is the passthrough window from the salon to the stern table. Every morning we would take a swim, cook lunch, open up the pass through and have breakfast at the table or the window bar (it has stools). That is, if we decided not to dine on the flybridge. So cool! I captained the boat two times and we used a captain the last time. Although I am a very experienced boater, including captaining 40+ foot boats, I would strongly recommend a captain. The 443 handles like a dream but there is a lot of peace of mind having a captain deal with anchoring, mooring and even making arrangements at restaurants and docks! If there are ANY boat issues, the captain takes care of them and can quickly dispatch the MarineMax technicians if needed. Captain Andrew was awesome! Regarding the BVI, this is our favorite Caribbean island(s). We have travelled to Jamaica, St. Barths, St. Maarten, Curacao, St. Lucia, DR and many other islands nothing compares to the BVI. The islands are clean, safe and some of the best dining you will find anywhere. The Baths are a must-see destination. Saba Rock, Pirates Bight, Leverick Bay, JVD/Soggy Dollar, LJVD, Sopers Hole, The Indians, Norman Island, Cooper Island, Cane Garden, ... All are unique, beautiful destinations. The bad thing is that vacationing with MarineMax BVI has ruined all other vacations for us! Once you are on the boat, your only worry is which island do I go to and where do we enjoy dinner! Every time we consider a vacation, we always end up back to booking a MarineMax BVI vacation!
