Mariners Cove Motel + Apartments at Paynesville

Stayed here last week, awesome motel and apartments! Great for boaters as you can moor your boat outside your room. Staff are super friendly and always happy to help. Rooms are a little bit old however reasonably clean and offer a great water front view. One of the best places I’ve stayed at, highly recommend.

Mariners Cove was such a beautiful place to visit. We had a week stay in the apartments along the canal. It was a picturesque location. The service was amazing, fresh bedding and towels every second day and the rooms cleaned as well. The staff were so friendly and helpful, it was hard to leave…already planning the next trip back.

Booked this without knowing anything about it. What a wonderful surprise!!!! The room looks fairly newly updated,was very clean,comfortable and had wonderful views. The manager was delightful and nothing was too much trouble. It is situated at the end of the marina,across the road from the ferry and a short walk to all restaurants and shops . Fab position,very reasonably priced and we will definitely return.

Motel was in a great location with most rooms off the side of the harbour. Clean and well equipped, car park right by your door. We stopped for 1 night as we wanted to visit Raymond island which didn't disappoint with loads of Koalas! Great for a short stay by definition of it being a motel. Local to shops, great supermarket nearby and several fast food and resturants available. would recommend as its a beautiful location for a short visit.

Our stay was fantastic! Having the carpark right in front of the room made it so much easier to load and unload our stuff. The building is new and well-maintained, and we loved the beautiful lake view right behind the room. There’s also a nice table outside to relax and enjoy the scenery. If you have a canoe, there’s a convenient boat ramp as well. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

What a beautiful motel. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Apparently they’d been done up only a few years ago. We had bad weather so chose to stay in the room the afternoon and night. What a delightful room when staying in. I’d recommend staying here any time. The price was very reasonable.

Most amazing place! Really loved it, everything was such great quality in the room! Quiet and lots of space, smelt so nice and was so clean, my type of decor in room. Loved the view and being able to have a coffee outside on balcony. Smart tv and good coffee, tea, drinking chocolate. Little Belgium bickies were a treat. Will be staying here again more than once. Stayed 3 nights in a Family Motel room with hubby and 2 kids under 3. Absolutely loved the location right on the water & walking distance to the shops. Room was nicely updated and had everything we needed for our short stay. Will definitely be back in the future.
