Mariners Cove Motel + Apartments at Paynesville

We travelled to Paynesville for a healing weekend and to discover the area around, and staying here was the best choice I’ve ever made, it’s quiet, the facilities are well maintained, and the room is spacious and great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, they reccomended us to the local attraction and point us to the lovely dining places, they even allowed us to check in two hours early. Above all, the location is perfect, just a short walk to the ferry to the Raymond island and each morning, we woke up with the stunning view of the waterway. I’ll definitely come back for future visit!

We took advantage of the Winter Special - Stay 4 nights, pay for 3. Excellent value. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was spacious and well equipped including full cooking facilities, washer and dryer. The location was perfect - quick walk to Raymond Island ferry, bakery and supermarket. Staff were friendly and helpful and we found the resort quiet and relaxing. Would definitely book again.

This is a true gem-room very spacious-very well appointed facilities and a fantastic view over the canal-5 min walk to the pub and that’s worth heading to-very welcoming lady when arrived and again when leaving. We will definitely return in the future and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Very conveniently located to catch the ferry to Raymond island. We got the room that had the waterview, it was great to have dinner / morning coffee and watching birds and swans 5 meters away from you.

It's a wonderful motel for vacation and walking to watch Koala in Raymond Island. A room was newly updated; it's clean, and wifi was fast. Wonderful front desk and housekeeping. Plus, it's within driving distance to Lake Entrance. Highly recommended.

Very nice location and so close to everything. So close to the ferry over to Raymond Island. The room was so extremely clean and the lady at reception was so pleasant and welcoming and was very helpful with places to see in town. We will definitely be back.

Enjoyable overnight stay at Mariners Cove. Great location if you want to explore Raymond Island. We arrived a couple of hours early but we were able to check in. The room we booked (Waterfront King Spa Motel Room) was huge and very comfortable. The spa bath was great! Breakfast is offered if you pre-order the day before but the kitchenette was equipped to a useable standard so we were happy to just use that. Recommended.
