Mariners North Holiday Apartments

We had a wonderful stay at Mariners North in Townsville. The apartments were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with great beds and a quiet atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The location is excellent, being within walking distance to the Magnetic Island ferry terminal and right near the water park, which our grandkids absolutely loved.||The gardens and lawns were beautifully manicured and clearly well maintained, adding to the overall feel of the property. Our host Brad and his wife were genuinely lovely people who made us feel very welcome.||We had family from all over the place travel to Townsville for Christmas, and Mariners North was the perfect base for everyone. Having a good coffee shop right next door was an added bonus too. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Beautiful, spacious apartments with magnificent views from every room. Excellent location close to The Strand, cafes, restaurants, parks and waterpark. Lovely, well kept gardens, pool, spa, and bbq area.

I booked this booking.com and unfortunately due to possible flood evacuation alert in Townsville this morning i had to cancel my family’s five night stay from 30/12. They charged me a one night cancellation fee and told me I should have gotten travel insurance (we live in Brisbane 😫). I asked if I could move the booking to another school holiday period and he advised I would still be charged the $560 for cancelling now. The manager was rude and not interested in repeat stays. I am so sensitive to natural disasters and the impact on businesses, having been through it myself but his disrespect and rudeness was unforgettable.

Great location, just off The Strand. Gorgeous views of Castle Hill, Magnetic Island and the beach. Short walk to the Magnetic Island ferry terminal. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Tiny Mountain Brewery about a 15 minute walk. If you were an interstate visitor and only staying a few days you don't need to hire a car as everything is so close.

Very spacious, clean and modern 3-bedroom apartment with stunning views of both the Strand/Beach and the Marina. Very close walking distance to a number of great restaurants, cafes and the casino.

A wonderful base for our 2 nights in Townsville . Hosts friendly and helpful . Ring direct and they can assist with booking . We had room 30 which was worth climbing a few flights of stairs which we knew at the time . 3rd floor had fabulous view . Clean and comfortable . Perfect location to walk o long The Strand and eat at Longboard . Nice pool |Highly recommend .

With apartments overlooking Magnetic Island and situated on the foreshore next door to the marina and Tobruk Pool, the Mariners North Apartments are a highly viable (and better) option than booking into a regular hotel when in Townsville. Facilities include underground and secured car parking, a pool and spa area that overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Magnetic Island set in a lush tropical Queensland setting as well as a intimate barbecue area and floodlit tennis court. Guests are also allowed to use the adjacent Tobruk Pool for laps. The cafe at the pool is not a bad place for breakfast or coffee or head just outside your door and across the door to s great fish 'n' chip takeaway or Gelatissimo. The apartments are close to ANZAC Memorial Park for a stroll along the foreshore or The Stand and Flinders Street with its variety of clubs, restaurants, cafes and historic buildings are only 10 minutes away. A bonus is that the apartments are fully contained with all home mod cons and even though the apartments have that great pool to relax in, if you want to do a few laps guests also get free entry to the historic Tobruk Pool next door. Best thing is that the apartments are only 10 minutes from the airport and you are staying in one of the better parts of Townsville along the ocean front.

Great spot overlooking the beach and harbour. We are staying in a 2 br apartment that is roomy & well equipped. Also has 2 balcony's for relaxing and enjoying the view. Next to stand park and all restaurants along the Strand. You will struggle to get better anywhere in Townsville
