Mariola wine bar

What a great little find! We were visiting the beautiful island of Korcula slightly off-season, coming into the old town for dinner and got caught in unexpected heavy rain, so ducked into Mariola which is one of the few wine bars with indoor seating (as well as outdoor) and didn’t want to leave! Marija was the perfect host, making a great local wine recommendation but also genuinely charming and engaging, we could’ve chatted (and drank wine) for hours! We’ll be back again for sure, a truly lovely experience.

Mariola is a true gem and the highlight of our trips to Korčula. We've been visiting the island for three consecutive years, and each time, we make sure to stop by her cozy wine bar multiple times. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always offering fantastic recommendations tailored to our tastes. The local wines are of exceptional quality, and the delicious charcuterie and bruschetta selections are perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is wonderful, tucked away on a charming little street, making it the ideal spot for a relaxing evening. We can't recommend this place enough!

Wine tasting was FANTASTIC value for money. Very impressed by the quality of the wines (all local), and by Mariola’s service. She customized the flight to my preferences and I enjoyed every one! The snacks were also delicious, healthy, and better balanced than other places I’ve been (meat, cheese, veg, and bread in appropriate proportions).

We are in town for two nights and stopped in for what we thought would be one glass of wine, and what turned into five wines and two small plates. The owner greeted us at the door and was welcoming and friendly. She had great wine recommendations and was very knowledgeable. We loved every wine we tried. We also ordered the bruschetta and prosciutto/cheese plate and both were delicious (after just getting done with dinner). We would highly recommend!

Wonderful wine bar in old town with a nice selection of regional wines and great owner operators that know their product.

Best place for a wine tasting in town. We got two whites and a red. Super great location right by the bay and great outside space to enjoy and feel the European vibes.

The perfect wine bar. The server was helpful and friendly, she recommended us some great local wines to suit our tastes. We also got a bruchetta selection which was delightfully balanced and tasteful. Can't compliment Mariola's enough.

Best wine bar in Korcula! Really lovely place with a friendly owner. Hidden in a cute little street, very atmospheric. Great for couples.
