Marion Lodge

I booked Marion Lodge in Sandton expecting the standards of a four-star, exclusive bed and breakfast as advertised. Unfortunately, my experience was one of complete dismay. On arrival, we found: • Stained pillowcases and poor-quality linen. • A dirty, stained carpet in the bedroom. • A shower with no working light. • Mismatched floor tiling and a bathroom mirror held together with electrical tape. • The shared lounge and dining areas were used for a noisy party, making it impossible to relax in nearby rooms. Although the staff were polite and helpful, the overall décor, cleanliness, and upkeep fell far short of what one would expect from a property claiming four stars. In my opinion, the advertised rating and glowing online endorsements are misleading. This is not an establishment I would recommend, and I strongly believe that the accreditation and promotional claims should be reviewed.

It was really a great expierence, rooms were neat and clean and very comfortable, services were always professional, helpful and friendly and is was peaceful.||||A great place to book for a get a away from reality

Marion Lodge is a good place to stay in Joburg. It's near Sandton City and good to reach. It's a safe place and the host as well as all the staff ist very friendly.

Booked through agoda last nite, the experience was so horrible. The 12A room toilet was mulfuntioning. Room was dirty, sheets were filthy and not changed. We had to request another room, after I was told agoda selected low cost rooms. Housekeeping seems to be an issue here. Pity I booked online and it was already late but was definitely not going to sleep there if I checked in earlier, will never consider revisiting that place. The area and location is nice though. We had a wonderful stay, they made us feel right at home! The reception staff was very kind, the rooms were super comfortable and cozy. We loved the breakfast—it was complete and delicious. I highly recommend it!

Im not happy with your Bed. Totally not in good condition. Whenever I sit in the Bed ,there was a noise. The room door had a huge space under ,i felt like i dont have privacy. Thank u soo much
