Great motel to stay at, the room we stay in is clean ,tidy and comfortable, secure lock up parking, lovely view to a well maintained garden, swimming pool on site, a variety of rooms to suit everyones needs and the staff in reception are always friendly and helpful. Shopping centre 5mins away, easy access to the city. This is our go to when in Adelaide.

Lovely little place in a good spot. Super easy to get to on the bus, good parking if you drive. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had the kettle die during our stay. Left a message with reception as it was late. Not 15 minutes later we had a new kettle delivered. The upstairs rooms are kid friendly with a gate for safety.

Made payment a little difficult and charged us extra to use the pull out sofa bed already provided in the room. Otherwise a nice stay.

The reception staff very helpful and friendly. Secure parking for vehicle. We were allocated a room at the rear of the property as it is located on main road which gets busy. Unfortunately there were a few things that were different to what we had seen listed on a booking site. We booked a FAMILY SUITE, which showed a bathroom with an additional toilet, however the particular apartment we stayed in only had a very small ensuite off the main bedroom with a very noisy sliding door that meant any one sleeping in the other room had to access it throughout the night. The other room contained 2 single beds, lounge, small table and a small kitchen area. There is very little wardrobe space and no draws so really hard to unpack and no space for suitcases. The air conditioning is only in the lounge kitchen area and none in the main bedroom. There is any door that would access the adjoining apartment which allowed a lot of noise and cooking smells from there. We did notice that there is a pool which seemed very well kept and the grounds very neat. |PERHAPS WE WERE UNFORTUNATE AND OTHER ROOMS ARE CONFIGURED DIFFERENTLY

Went for a lunch with friends and ended up sitting in the beer garden. The service was great, the food was absolutely amazing. I had a steak cooked to perfection and instead of a traditional salad it was half a baby cos lettuce with a divine dressing on top. Was a lovely afternoon, vibes were so relaxed. We will be back.

Marion Motel and Apartments is an average/good motel in a good location but exiting the Motel can be a bit of a pain since it is very close to a set of stop lights. Some areas didn't seem wheelchair friendly and there were steps in most places. Overall it was a fairly decent motel, clean, neat and tidy, but the bathroom is quite small and not easy to maneuver around in. The beds were comfortable and I did have a good sleep even though we were near a busy roadway. The WiFi was good and was provided free along with the room. There was no shortage of complimentary tea and coffee and shampoo and body wash. (It smelt simply divine!)||||The location itself was quite good. It was a 10-15 minute drive to Glenelg Beach (Visit The BeachHouse, great for young kids!), 10-15 minute drive to Harbor Town (Lots of stores and shopping) 6-7 minute drive from supermarkets and fast food outlets like KFC, McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, Subway, Chatime etc. (Castle Plaza) 15-20 minutes from the Marion Shopping Center and Cinema. There is a 2 minute walk to Dominoes if you like Pizza.||||The staff were friendly/helpful and overall I have no real complaints except for the bathroom size. (I'm not a little person.) If ever visiting this area in the future with the family, I will more than likely book here again.

Stayed in a family apartment. ||||Entry - front door was hard to close and then there was a badly lit stair case that opens onto the main room. Not suitable for young kids. Thankfully we were 4 adults. ||||Main room - 2 single beds, sofa bed, tv, air con, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave. Average size. ||||Bedroom - 3feet of floor around the sides of the bed. Just enough room for the suitcase to fit on the floor. Wardrobe was tiny. Bedroom door was warped and didn’t shut. ||||Bathroom - tiny bathroom with a sliding door that leaves a gap at the bottom. Anyone staying in the main room has to walk through the 3ft gap between the bed and the wall to use the bathroom 3ft from the bed. ||||Noise - walls inside the apartment offer zero noise reduction. It’s like you’re all in the same room. Walls between apartments are thin enough that you’ll hear your neighbours whole conversation. It’s also right next to a busy road and the windows are super thin. ||||Other stuff - the free wifi doesn’t work. The car park is hard to get into. There are shops nearby. It’s clean ish but expect stains. ||||We left early
