Marion Motel and Apartments

Housekeeping staff removed a bag of my children's belongings from our room and threw them in the bin. Motel staff recovered barely any of the items out of the skip bin and refused to let me even look for myself before the bin got removed. Childrens hats, toys, books, clothing and many other items and they wouldn't even let me look in the bin and refused to hold off the removal of the bin. Housekeeping staff denied removing the bag from my room but surveillance cameras show them removing the bag from my room. Some items are irreplaceable or cannot have a monetary value put to them. So upsetting.

Unfortunately the room I stayed in didn’t have a separate bathroom. I had to go into a bedroom to use the tiny ensuite bathroom which had a sliding door. So there was no privacy there when sharing with another person. This is a bad design. The rooms and property was very underwhelming.

Very Clean, neat and tidy. Comfortable beds. Bathroom tiles could be updated.Plenty of hot water in shower. Lovely gardens and pool. Secure car parking. Secure motel grounds. Overall a good place to stay, except I was unfortunate to get inconsiderate neighbours in apartment above me making lots of noise until late at night.

Lovely little place in a good spot. Super easy to get to on the bus, good parking if you drive. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had the kettle die during our stay. Left a message with reception as it was late. Not 15 minutes later we had a new kettle delivered. The upstairs rooms are kid friendly with a gate for safety.

Clean, comfortable and affordable. Secure car park, easy to find & friendly staff. Defiantly stay here again.

The reception staff very helpful and friendly. Secure parking for vehicle. We were allocated a room at the rear of the property as it is located on main road which gets busy. Unfortunately there were a few things that were different to what we had seen listed on a booking site. We booked a FAMILY SUITE, which showed a bathroom with an additional toilet, however the particular apartment we stayed in only had a very small ensuite off the main bedroom with a very noisy sliding door that meant any one sleeping in the other room had to access it throughout the night. The other room contained 2 single beds, lounge, small table and a small kitchen area. There is very little wardrobe space and no draws so really hard to unpack and no space for suitcases. The air conditioning is only in the lounge kitchen area and none in the main bedroom. There is any door that would access the adjoining apartment which allowed a lot of noise and cooking smells from there. We did notice that there is a pool which seemed very well kept and the grounds very neat. |PERHAPS WE WERE UNFORTUNATE AND OTHER ROOMS ARE CONFIGURED DIFFERENTLY

Went for a lunch with friends and ended up sitting in the beer garden. The service was great, the food was absolutely amazing. I had a steak cooked to perfection and instead of a traditional salad it was half a baby cos lettuce with a divine dressing on top. Was a lovely afternoon, vibes were so relaxed. We will be back.

Friendly staff and service are the best. We booked at the last minute and the staff helped us. We really appreciate the service. Rooms are great.
