Marion Street Cheese Market

My wife and I have been there many times by ourselves and with friends. We've never been disappointed with the food or the service. Sometimes its 4-star, usually its 5-star. But we do have a secret. We almost always sit at the bar. The bartenders are top notch and really know their wine and beer. They're friendly, conversational (even when busy), and provide great service. Table service was very good as well, but the bar is our favorite. The menu changes often, usually with the seasons, and is always fresh. The beer taps cycle and the wine is of excellent value and usually is for sale in the market which is a great feature (and a dangerous one). Try to go when they have live music.

This place was awesome! Fantastic food -- very different yet really delicious. You'll definitely not regret going there. Has a deli feel with cheeses, wine and even chocolates you can purchase inside the place. Came here for brunch and i really loved it. I can't wait to go back again! You find yourself getting hungry again as you see what the other customers ordered...I give this a place an A+++. Great place too, very varied group of people around there. It has a fancy feel to it yet you feel like you belong there anyways. Just a really comfortable feel.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Oak Park. You can't go wrong with choosing anything on their menu! I especially enjoy sitting at the bar for a few hours, enjoying some cocktails or wine and sharing a few cheese and meat trays with my fiance. The staff there are very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu items and where they get the ingredients from. They support many small businesses across the US.

Fantastic selection of cheeses, wines and craft beers!! An ever changing dinner menu prepared by Chef Leonard is mouth-watering. Only downside is that they got rid of their amazing Cheese Puffs... mmmmm

This trendy wine bistro just outside of Chicago is recommended for everyone especially for wine lovers, brunch, and gourmet food to shop. They use organic, local farms, wineries, breweries, and more. My friend and I had brunch on the patio that had plenty space and comfortable to chat which is also covered and heated during cooler months. We decided to pick one breakfast and one "lunch" option of 2013. Baked french toast with peach chutney, mascarpone and basil streusel was unique and tasty with the peach flavor sauce and basil. I loved the cauliflower melt sandwich that contained their honey, curry aioli, tart apple and Tulum cheddar on multigrain bread. I would never thought of adding apple to spice cauliflower and it was great. I will come back to try the wine flights and various cheese they sell in their store. I had bought wheat thin chocolate chip cookies and gourmet chocolates. Yummmm!

It's a great restaurant in Oak Park - no doubt - but the recent changes to the layout and menu seemed unnecessary, superfluous and disruptive. Still - a great dining experience and reasonably priced for lunch.

Been dining, wine 🍷, and the Chocolates are fantastic. Great local place. Nice wine selection. Try the Lobster mac n cheese.

Best food! Many choices! Dinner options are phenomenal. Selection of cheeses will make any cheese lover's mouth water.
