Very good and fresh baked pizza. Sauce tastes incredible and was the perfect amount. We had a large pepperoni and finished the whole pizza. Owner was very friendly as well. Highly recommend this place

Today I got the $25 special for the first time and it’s officially the best family meal deal in Culver City. The food was great!!! 10/10 highly recommend. I also got a calzone, without cheese, so it was great that I could eat something while my family enjoyed the $25 meal deal.

The food is excellent and the service was very welcoming!!!! Building was very aesthetically pleasing and the people who work there are very nice didn’t even rushed us to pay they brought our food to the table and let us enjoy the meal!!! I enjoy pizzeria shops like this one bc the pizza is 🤌🏽😋 🍕🍗

The food is great and always ready quickly. And they are so nice! The large pizzas are such a good size compared to larges at other places. We get their pizza for family hangs and everyone loves it

Absolutely delicious pizza. High quality ingredients and the for me the key was the flavor of the sauce and the dough. All together and it makes the best pizza I’ve eaten since I moved to LA. Wow! I can’t wait to try more.

I wanted something to eat for an early lunch and decided to make my way down here from Long Beach since I’ve heard good reviews about this place. The first slice instantly made the trip worth it. I can’t say enough good things about this place! The crust is perfectly crisp on the outside, and has excellent flavor. Lots of sides too and all made to order. 10/10 spot.

Food was great. Small plates. Ravioli was homemade. Goat cheese crostini was delicious. Focacci bread was basically a texas toast.

Marios Pizza is simply Delicious! I love their Chicken Grilled Sandwich, The pizza are my daughter's favorite. Their chicken pesto raviolis yum yum. Service is great, location is cozy, they have a small area outdoors.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza through Grubhub and found a hair baked right onto one of the slices (see photo). When I called the restaurant, the person who answered immediately got defensive and raised his voice, saying they "can't" issue refunds and that I needed to deal with Grubhub instead. For the record, that's not true -- restaurants can process refunds for food quality issues. Grubhub even confirmed this when I reached out. Instead of owning up to it or offering any apology, the whole thing was handled with attitude and zero accountability. If this is how they handle something as basic as food safety and customer service, I wouldn't trust ordering from here again.

If you like your Pizza thin crust and cooked to perfection-this is the place for you. Since we go there a lot, they actually starting making me my favorite pizza which is hard to find in the states...with tuna, onion and garlic (I just have to bring in my own tuna) Definitely one of my top 2 pizza places in LA!

Here's the thing. I order on Grubhub for timing and convenience. Today I ordered at 445pm. The took until 630 pm to get my food the 2 miles. The thing is the deliver person had a problem with their. Now that is acceptable. What is not acceptable is that the restaurant eLIED each time I called to ask where my food was after 90 minutes. knowing it would be cold. Which it was. I'm not mad at the driver, I'm disgusted with people who make no effort in their jobs. So the restaurant is the weak

this is a real honest review. I always go to Papa Johns, but I decided to stop by here because someone recommended to me and I drove all the way from Hawthorne. Mind you I was greeted when I went inside and the customer service was great even over the phone. It seems like a family business and I love it. I'm here to support. I will definitely be going back. I really liked the wings with the ranch. It's different and I like it. Thank you, Mario for your delicious pizza and great customer service.

delivered twice to the wrong address even after I called to let then know. Woman on the phone pretended they knew what they were doing. Had to fet the pizza over neighbors fence. Pizza cold, driver angry.

I was craving Italian food and I wanted to go eat good food that wasn't too expensive. This place was just that! It's a little mom pop shop and my husband got the Chicken Marsala and I ordered Mario's Primavera. Not only were both dishes really tasty, but it was a good size portion and we received garlic bread and it's delicious bread! The texture is fluffy and the portion is a good size! The service was great, really friendly and nice people. I don't usually write reviews, but this place was a must!

I ordered a pizza online, received an order confirmation. The pizza never came. I called an hour later and the person said no delivery. I ended up going to restaurant. I had to order and wait for the pizza. I got the pizza 90 minutes later. I paid for the pizza, delivery service, and a generous tip through the web app. I won't be back for a long time.

I placed an order online and when I went to pick up they mentioned they received no order. I didn't have time for them to make an order on the spot so I asked for a refund. The folks here told me they couldn't do anything about it and proceeded to pretend to call a manager, never got a hold of them and told me they couldn't do anything about it. Not only did they not give me any food, but they did not give me my money back. Absolute disaster. Beware of this place as they will straight up rob you.

Best pizza I've had in Los Angeles county as a whole! It's was cheesy, great flavor and just bomb all around! Customer service was great too! I'll definitely be back!

Super friendly service and the price is right for a cheesy, bready pizza. They even went off menu for me and cooked up a chicken marsala pizza (which was super decadent).

We always drove by Mario's and saw their family deal banner in the front so decided to give it a try. The deal is for a spaghetti, salad, large pizza, wings and drinks so thought it was a great deal for the price. The pizza and wings were pretty good for the price, but not something I'd seek out if I had a pizza craving. Spaghetti was a bit of a miss for me as it seemed a bit bland and watered down and the salad didn't seem too fresh. Overall I think it's good value for the price when you're in a pinch and looking for a variety of a meal.

When you go to Mario's get the supreme pizza! You can't go wrong! I'm from Jersey and new to LA and this is by far the best place to get New York style pizza. I'm not really a thin crust girl- this is as good!

Small and intimate place with outdoor seating. Surprisingly it was empty for a Saturday night so we had the place to ourselves. We ordered two pizzas and they were super big! Toppings were good but doe was a bit on the dry side. We ordered a pesto and pepperoni pizza along with garlic bread. No alcohol provided. BYOB Service: Good but a bit slow Parking: small parking lot that is shared with other companies. Street parking available ¡Buen provecho!

Best pizza and salads! Pizza is perfect, thin and generous toppings. Salads are the best, so very, very fresh and crispy. Big portions. Have to admit I don't really like the salad dressing. We've eaten in and gotten delivery. Both are good. You should try it. (and I rarely review)

Ordered a pepperoni pizza that was soggy with little to no sauce on it. Unfortunately does not live up to NY style as claimed. One additional star because they're open late if you're in a pinch.

Really good local place. Got the chicken piccata and the chicken Marsala. Both excellent. Will order again but with no spaghetti sauce (tomato sauce was good too) but I like the noodles the lemon piccata sauce. Definitely ordering again.

The pizza is solid and hit the spot. Sorta new york style, IMO. Also haad the chopped salad which hit the spot, but was probably lesser quality with canned gloves and not great quality chopped meats, but it still hot the spot and I'm not disappointed.

This pizza was amazing. I brought four kids with me and there were no complaints. They all agree it was five stars coming from Gardena to this place again and again. Mario keep doing your thing. Tell Luigi I said what's up.

Marco is the man! He was so sweet as soon as we walked into the door. The vibe in the restaurant is a throw back to the days I had at my locale pizza place as a kid. We got cheese pizza, just the best, we will be life customers!!!

The French fries are so good and they give a lot of food. They are also so nice. The pizza is sooooo good. Hope we can come again soon.

All I ordered was a garden salad with some chicken, and I received a spectacular salad with some outrageously delicious chicken! This was not just some typical iceberg, lettuce salad, this was mixed greens, fresh cut, tomatoes, and cucumbers! And the chicken was absolutely outstanding!this was the type of salad you expect at a five star restaurant. Keep it up Mario's!

It's okay. I was curious about them for the longest, and if I say so myself, I think I'm an excellent judge of pizza of all types, crusts, recipes, signature styles etc. So my review is based on my extensive knowledge of pizza, if I say so myself. I also of course want to support more family/locally owned pizzerias so yeah. So I decided to give Mario's a try. Now, the pizza first and foremost is priced unreasonably steep. Medium one topping it's 18. Large is a few dollars more, at 21 dollars. Not including tax, or if you want extra toppings, or delivery charges. I'm sure they charge more on apps and online ordering. (I ordered carry out/in person so yeah.) Pizza is more thick crust. (Which again I love all kinds of pizza. If it's thin crust, lovely. If it's thick crust, nice. Great pizza is Great pizza to me.) However, just very mid/basic tasting to me. Dough was alright, and had a slight buttery taste, but barely, and I don't know, and they could have spruced up the dough a bit more. Toppings were okay. The amount of cheese was decent. Wish they didn't go so easy on the tomato sauce, and they put more sauce on the pie, but It just was okay. I'll probably give them in another shot in the future, as maybe I got unlucky with them this time, and part of me feels they can do better than this. But for the price of their pizza, I was expecting a bit more. It was just okay pizza. So yeah.

Okay pizza with a double serving of lengthy wait times and terrible service. I placed an order for pick up at 10PM on a Saturday night. I ordered a small pesto pizza and cheese bread. The price was reasonable at around $23 before taxes. What was not reasonable we're the long lines and lack of communication upon arrival. There were about 5 different parties standing shoulder to shoulder waiting in line to order. I approached the cashier to let her know I was picking up an order after seeing a sign for pickup orders to come to the front and calling 1 minute earlier to confirm my order was in fact ready. Instead of being greeted, I was met with a "can't you see there's a line." If I hadn't paid already, I would have left. Instead, I stood to the side as the cashier took orders from the line as well as from doordash. By the time I received my order and got home, the pizza and cheese bread were cold.

Absolutely loved the food! Got a meat lovers pizza with my homies and we all enjoyed it very much! Great service that makes you feel welcomed, will definitely be coming back soon!

This is a great New York style pizza. I've been coming here in a weekly basis since moving to the area. I love this pizza joint. friendly service small business quick service free delivery. I love it.

This business takes care of there customer. I typed in pizza and delivery as my key words and Mario's was one of two 4.3 star pizza places so I decided to try it. We ordered the ex-large pizza. Two different flavored 8 piece wings with blue cheese dressing, a Greek salad and we were told by the app it would be an hour +. So to my surprise 25 minutes later I get a text from Mario's Pizza saying Mario's Pizza and slices of pizza. I check Yelp and my order is still 40+ minutes away. So I call the number and asked if they were having problems with the order and they said, no we are in front of your house. They brought a free dessert and said if we call them directly we could avoid the delivery fee. The pizza was thin crust, New York style nicely cooked. The sauce and cheese was the right amount. We had pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. Yum. My only small criticism is the mushrooms were huge. But the pizza was tasty. We ordered the mild wings and the spicy wings. I love both, but the mild wings were a little too spicy for one of the four people eating. The chicken was crispy, without asking. We probably should have ordered more. The Cesar salad was fresh and the croutons were crunchy. We did not add the chicken option. But the salad, was good. Now the free chocolate cake. I love chocolate and was so happy to have this extra treat. The cake was dense and moist. So chocolaty and not too sweet. I would definitely order from this restaurant again.

I love this place. I've gotten a calzone, meatball sub, and pepperoni pizza so far. All are wonderful and well priced. I keep enjoying everything I get here. Although parking is difficult, I feel like the food is worth it getting it To Go. Next up to try is the chicken parm and the pasta!

I'm a Fitness Professional and Natural Pro Body Builder. I allow Myself very few food indulgences, but one, over the past few years, had been, Mario's Pizza! They're 6 blocks from Me and I love their arugula pizza, every other month! Being a body builder, My indulgences are still controlled, so I always add PROTEIN to the pizza (chicken), and occasionally, other extras: black olives, garlic, spinach, and mushrooms, but ALWAYS, PROTEIN!!! My one pizza costs over $30 with all the added ingredients. Tonight is the second time, in a few months, that there has been NO CHICKEN, and tonight also, no spinach!! Last time this happened, I talked to Mario and he comped Me a future pizza, but tonight when I called, the woman on the phone just said, "sorry".... REALLY?? I'm in the service industry Myself... if I gave shitty service, or didn't back My service, people would go elsewhere.... because that's bad business and people have choices.... and so now I choose to NOT spend over $30 for a pizza that's missing paid for ingredients and I also choose, to air My grievances, since no suitable remedy was offered by the business!!!

Reason why I give one star is because I order a pepperoni bbq chicken and they add onion n cilantro at least tell me it comes with it before added it I just wanted pepperoni and bbq chicken also cheese and ingredients fall right off not coming back wouldn't recommend

Great pizza, friendly service!! The crust here is so good and the pizza never disappoints. Service has also always been a pleasant experience. Marco and his crew are great and always smiling! Thank you all for your service and consistently good food! We look forward to trying the pasta next time!
