Shared the combo plate with a friend which worked out perfectly for a small appetite! I find that a full order of one type is just too rich for me and really appreciated the variety. Loved the walnut shrimp which was a new one to me. Will definitely eat here again.

The restaurant was suggested to my friends and I by the woman at the front desk at the hotel we’re staying at (Worldmark Zihuatanejo). The food, simply put, was HEAVENLY. I ordered the chile poblano relleno de mariscos and savored each bite like I hadn’t eaten in days. The chile was fresh, the sauce was devine, the rice was flavorful (and just enough to soak up the juices) and the vegetables were...delectable. I’ll be back, and I will tell everyone I know to go. Sooooooo good 🤗🤗

Interesting take on coconut shrimp with cream cheese inside the crusty coconut. Almost like a wanton. Not to our liking but others might enjoy it. Fajitas de res were pretty good.

Outstanding food! This humble restaurant hides incredible seafood and deliciously fresh fish. I had the tiritas and the walnut shrimp. Portions are generous and served hot because food is cooked as you order.

I love coconut shrimp and where better to have some than a place in Mexico just steps from the beach. I could have eaten them every night for dinner but I waited until one of our last nights to indulge so that I wouldn't be tempted every night. We asked a local where he thought had the best ones and he recommended Chendo's. You can not go wrong with a local's opinion and this time it was spot on. They were so good. We also shared an order of chicken fajitas which were also very good. As for service and atmosphere this is your average street side restaurant, not much ambiance and the service didn't stand out as top notch so it is a 4 star to me, but the food alone earns those stars!

Wonderful shrimp, my favorite is the camerones mixtas - 2 coconut shrimp either coconut dipping cream, 2 walnut encrusted shrimp with nut cream dipping sauce and 2 bacon wrapped shrimp with chipotle dipping sauce. Of course, there are many wonderful seafood dishes (and some chicken for those who don't do mariscos) but this one is my favorite for its delicious flavours and great textures.
