The experience went downhill the moment we walked in. We were a party of five, including a high chair, yet were initially seated at a very low four-top where the high chair sat higher than the table. To make matters worse, the table was directly next to the patio door, making it uncomfortably cold.
When we asked to be moved to a properly sized table that could accommodate both our party and the high chair, the manager was completely dismissive and told us to speak with the hostess instead. We were left standing awkwardly in the middle of the restaurant, unsure of what to do. Eventually, we were seated at another table that technically fit the high chair—but it was still designed for only four people, not five.
While the appetizers arrived quickly and were genuinely delicious, the main courses took an unreasonably long time to come out. The only true bright spot of the evening was our waiter, Nick, who was exceptional and did his best to salvage the experience.
Although the food itself was very good and the restaurant is undeniably beautiful, the poor management, long wait times, and lack of hospitality overshadowed everything. With so many dining options in the hotel, we won’t be returning.
