We stopped at Marisqueria Corcovado for lunch on our first day in town and we were not disappointed. Don’t let the open air bar vibe fool you this was amazing. We were hungry and ordered appetizers and two mains. We didn’t expect the mammoth portions of fresh seafood. My wife ordered shrimp kabobs that came with massive shrimp with heads still on and assorted steamed vegetables. I ordered a seafood pasta dish. It came with mussels, clams, shrimp and calamari with pasta in red sauce. I think it his was the best cooked calamari I’ve EVER had. Super casual place that was frequented by locals and tourists. FYI - They take credit cards. Overall a wonderful lunch-dinner I would highly recommend.

I had a seafood special with tuna and prawns. It was great, especially the tuna. The serving size is enormous - could have shared. I had a pina colada and that was also large and tasty. Overall very good food, just a little pricy.

Tough to find nice restaurants in this area. The food was good and fresh at this spot - we particularly enjoyed the tuna. The decor is simple. It has a water view but it not really a beach. Prices were good.

Fresh food and excellent friendly waiter. Would highly recommend. Pina Colada was not a mix but fresh and very good! Will be back!

Best seafood and tuna lunch. Especially like the fish salad with passion fruit dressing (yum). If you ever go to Costa Rica.

Great food. Worth the walk from Botanika. I wish I took photos. It was amazing! The seafood platter is great for 2. I also recommend the river prawns if you haven't had them. !

It's great to watch the planes landing and taking off over the sea. The food is amazing. Recommend the ceviche de pulp, the soup with coconut milk! One of the best dishes! The cocktails and batidos are very tasty as well.

We asked what was fresh that day and tuna and Mahi Mahi were on the menu caught that morning. They asked how we wanted the tuna cooked and cooked it perfectly medium rare. The Mahi Mahi had a mix of seafood on it w a delicious sauce. It was so good we returned for dinner the next day and shared the seafood platter on a recommendation by our server. It was next level. Topped off w fresh passion fruit margaritas. Service was excellent. 👌
