Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius

We had yet another wonderful stay at the hotel, our fifth visit and it never disappoints. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Kavita and Mr. Mungur, making us feel instantly at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. Our room was perfect - clean, comfortable, and offering a breathtaking view, which was truly a highlight. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety to suit every taste. What makes this hotel truly special is the team: Mr. Deven, Rita from the F&B Dept and the rest of the staff, who are always friendly, attentive, and helpful. Overall, a truly memorable stay and we look forward to returning.

Upon arrival from a 16 hour in total uk flight we were very disappointed in the beginning. Checking in was a long process as well as the drive from the airport to balaclava which is in the middle of nowhere as well as turtle bay ! |We booked and paid for all inclusive plus which was £2000 more than all inclusive and boy im so glad we did? |First two days I wanted to go home big time!! Extra for this extra for that it was a nightmare? You come all this way from uk expensive in general and then have to pay extra for a basic meal. So I complained and three management team came to see me sat me down and said they were totally in favor of my complaints! They said they where scrapping all inclusive plus but because we had booked a long time ago we could have and do what we wanted ? Bingo now we are talking. This changed our holiday ? We upgraded to a suite experience and our own private bar tender Jay made our holiday special ? We had the best meals ever it was so special! |Unfortunately if you are all inclusive it could be a nightmare with set meals and you cannot get everything unless you pay extra big time. In this regard stay clear but all inclusive be aware you will have extras to pay for but you will get great food after the extra payment. |Cons|Trainee staff a nightmare!|Buffet shocking (and only one so you are stuck )|Entertainment worst ever|No parties no special food on the beach like other hotels ! no snack bars so it’s the buffet or la maree on beach but that’s one per week! |All inclusive lots of extras |All inclusive drinks not the best |Quarter deck bar so dark and gloomy I fell over three times be careful. |Staff in quarter deck bar totally useless |Plus points |After speaking to management it was fab|The grounds fantastic |Pools great|Lots sunloungers|Towels plenty |Room great |Beer nice some wine ok |Good food after speaking to management |Free pedaloes free kayaks free paddle boards |Free glass bottom boat & snorkeling |Overall check out this all inclusive & all inclusive premium ? My experience at Maritim balaclava was marvelous. We went for a day package to spend my birthday on the 30th Sep over there. The food was superb delicious with various varieties. I just loved it. Except that the time pass by too fast, we couldn’t do any activities or even try the sauna hammam which is included in the day package. The weather was clouded so the sea activities were not allowed to us. We did visit the animal farm before going. The staffs are very courteous and attentive. A very quiet and relaxing hotel which we needed. A definitely must try for those who want to! Keep it up

We had a wonderful day at the resort It was raining so we did not do the beach activities and visit the local zoo. The buffet lunch was good. Lots of nice food and deserts. Free drinks all day and tea time cakes biscuits and pancakes. Free WiFi. The pool is huge and we relaxed at the poolside and walked along the beach. I can recommend this place. We were only there for the day so I cannot rate the rooms.

Simply perfect! From the reception to the last moment, everything was outstanding. I'd especially like to highlight Yevin – an incredibly friendly and attentive waiter. He made the evening truly special with his excellent service and positive attitude. Yevin was present at all times without being intrusive and fulfilled all requests immediately and with a smile. You can tell he's truly passionate about his job. Thank you so much for this unforgettable service – we'd love to come back and highly recommend this place to everyone! 🌟 Thank you Yevin☺️

The Maritim Mauritius Resort & Spa is simply stunning. The whole property feels like a tropical garden – full of exotic palm trees, lush plants and greenery everywhere you look. Walking around, you even come across old ruins and a waterfall, which gives the place a truly unique atmosphere.||The spa is another highlight – beautifully designed, with a very exotic feel and the perfect place to unwind and recharge.||But what really makes this resort unforgettable is the people. Everyone is incredibly warm and friendly – we especially want to mention Vimla, Loovesh, Amiela and Hema, but they are really just representative of the whole team. Every single staff member we met went out of their way to make us feel welcome.||All in all, a place that combines natural beauty, relaxation, and the most wonderful hospitality. Higly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at the Maritim Resort and Spa. We arrived and were greeted with big smiles and a surprise room upgrade, to a suit room, 109. Wow what a lovely room it was. Which came with its own area of beach reserved for suit rooms. Would love to thank Jay on the beach for getting our drinks and looking after us he always knew what we wanted (great memory) and very friendly, Thank you Jay. |The hotel grounds were lovely and had lots to do with horse riding (horses are well looked after and are ex race horses) and a zoo with tortoises also archery and golf. In the early evening you then have the fruit bats fly in to the trees on the beach wow what a sight. Also you can see the best sunsets right on the beach. |The food was so delicious wherever you eat . The staff could not do enough for you and were very friendly and helpful. We would like to thank everyone for making our stay so wonderful and thank you for upgrading us such a wonderful surprise. We would go back again.

Been here for a spa package. Excellent service. My son and I had one of those mum n son moment. Masseurs Amiela (me) and Natasha (my son) did an awesome job. A great stay-cation for us. Now eager to taste the food.
