We ordered a protein bowl that was delicious. It had a mixture of greens, cucumbers, avocado, tomatoes, pickled onions, chic peas and a yummy homemade dressing. It usually comes with rice on the bottom but we were there early in the morning and the rice wasn't ready yet. It's very fresh and fulfilling. We went back on a Monday to order it again and unfortunately it was closed.

Lately me and my Wife been visiting GB for breakfast. I have to say, I love GB. Such a chill town and Marjoram+ Roux just fits perfectly with that climate. They have great choice of sandwiches, salads, cookies etc. Place is not big but because of that there is very unique atmosphere there. There are some tables outside. Very chill atmosphere. Staff was very nice. We ordered turkey blts. They were DELICIOUS. Bread was so good, perfect amount of ingredients. Added greens were fresh and tasted good. Overall great place!

Love checking in to see their lunch specials. This roast turkey sandwich and sesame salad was perfect to share, paired with a blood orange iced tea and topped off with an oatmeal cookie. The staff is exceptionally kind and the shop has great vibes.

LOVED the food that I ordered for lunch and the chai latte that I had. The service was good and the decor was on point. There is indoor and outdoor seating, but know that it's a smaller storefront, so good for small groups, couples, and solo trips - when a line forms it gets crowded. Definitely recommend.

Nothing noteworthy. Prosciutto mozzarella baguette was very standard but pricier than what you can get elsewhere. The chai latte tasted like drinking straight syrup. Pastries were also mediocre.

We had our company holiday party here. I had heard goodbyes about the place and wanted to try it for myself, and I have to say it was behind my best expectations! Daire and company really know their stiff around food. The guys are still talking about it! Get the frittata!

A nice spot to grab a quick bite to eat. Limited seating but large tables and neat nooks. Loved that it was dog friendly inside. The dill oil on the potato leek soup was heavenly but the Brie and fig jam baguette was only OK. Our coffee and dirty chai were tasty.

Beautiful cafe, beautiful food, beautiful people!! Daire and her team are always welcoming, their food and coffee and pastries are always excellent, and the entire vibe is super solid. Popular for good reason, and the team will get you your order quickly and kindly, even in when they’re slammed. Great vegetarian options, outdoor cafe tables and beautiful angles for the sunshine when it’s sunny—what’s not to love?

Yelp
"You never see it coming, You never have a clue, But there's trouble on the horizon, Bubbling like a roux" (Jimmy Buffet) Walking around and browsing the shops in Great Barrington on a beautiful Spring Day was a real enjoyable experience. We wanted to try a new place for lunch and ended up at Marjoram And Roux for a very nice lunch, It has a front showcasw with baked goods and prepared salads and a big roll of butcher paper on the wall where the day's specials are listed. We ordered at the front counter, grabbed a table in the modestly sized dining room and our two sandwiched came out very fast. My wife ordered a Prosciutto Baguette with arugula, red pepper tapenade, and Buffalo Mozzarella with an aged balsamic dressing for $16. I ordered a Pita Sadwich with White Bean Hummus, Beets, Olives, Pickled Onions, and Arugula for $12. Both sandwiches were served with a small salad of local greens. I loved my sandwich. The pillowy softness of the pita, the smooth velvety texture of the hummus, the sweetness of the beets, and the saltiness of the olives all combined for one fantastic sandwich. Portion size was generous, and since we knew we'd be stopping down the street for ice cream, we each took home half of our lunch. Pricing was reasonable at just around $30 after tax and before tip. There's a lot of lunch choices in Great Barrington and we were very happy with ours.

Yelp
Cute little spot for coffee/tea, treats to go along with. It is pretty small inside so seating could be limited but I got a great coffee drink and the snacks to go along with the coffee or tea looked really great. Didn't partake but it smelled great in the place and there was some meals served to other folks when I sat there that looked really good. I believe they do breakfast and lunch only. Would definitely be back when back in GB!

Yelp
FCC i took a farro salad to go. It was fresh and well presented. There was enough for two people two nights.

Yelp
Very cute, sits a top of Railroad Street, on a section where I used to spend a great deal of time outside Fiore' in its heyday. The old martins space. Very good coffee and hot drinks, teas, iced drinks. We split a spinach croissant into 4 and inhaled it in 2 seconds, it was good. The small menu of specials, written on white butcher, paperhanging on the subway tiled wall, looked fabulous. But the prize goes to the big, round Ginger Molasses cookie, studded with ginger and perfectly sweetened. A few cozy tables, nice natural lighting, relaxing background music and a friendly staff make for the perfect stop along your way.

Yelp
very nice breakfast and lunch place, interesting collection of odd furniture but it works to make a comfortable setting, we just had coffee and some breakfast bites but everything was very good and service pleasant, a good way to start your day!!!

Yelp
Unfortunately, as other reviewers have mentioned, the teenaged staff--inexperienced customer service, loud club music at 9 in the morning--sets me back to my food court days at the mall. Pass.

Yelp
Came here to get a hot chocolate when walking around town. This is the first time I've been here. The hot chocolate was good; I haven't found a better one in town. I was able to get the hot chocolate made with almond milk. I couldn't resist looking at their pastries. Everything is made in house! I ordered the pumpkin cranberry muffin - it was delicious!!!! Not too sweet, perfect pumpkin flavor. They have a breakfast and lunch menu. They also have pre-made tuna salad, potato salad and quinoa salad in the front case. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Popped in quickly over the weekend. I mentioned, in passing, that my birthday had just passed and it was my boyfriends today (yes, 2 Libras lols). Sam was so incredibly sweet and treated us so well. Great staff and fantastic service. Thank you Sam! Also a delish matcha :) The brownie is also fantastic!!

Yelp
My daughter and I were so excited to try this cafe. We walked in and stepped up to an empty counter to look at the menu. A young lady behind the counter rather rudely said " excuse me I am ringing someone out". There had been no one in front of us. My daughter ordered an egg, ham and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was absolutely horrible. The large, dried out omelet style egg had no flavor. It was supposed to have arugula, it had none. We threw it out and went to the Bagel Shop and had a delicious bagel. I wouldn't bother eating here as they clearly don't care about their food or customer service. Why would they serve a tasteless sandwich if they cared?

Yelp
Beautiful breakfast/lunch restaurant in downtown great barrington. Nice environment and decor. Most impressive is the food; unique and delicious sandwiches with different specials that change regularly. A little pricey (honestly standard for the area) but well worth it. Try the roast beef with caraway mayo or the pastrami. Good coffee too. Best lunch place in town.

Yelp
Stopped here twice while in town for a few days. The place smelled delicious, and it has a cool vibe. Wonderful, friendly service. Coffee was perfection, and pastries were divine.

Yelp
I'm very sorry to report this negative review, but I felt it necessary to mention that 1 hour after eating lunch here yesterday my wife became extremely ill. It was likely food poisoning, although I can't pinpoint which meal in particular was the cause. The symptoms included stomach cramps, headache, and vomiting all evening. I realize that this was unintentional, but it's very important to make sure meats are cooked thoroughly and that staff wash their hands and wear gloves before handling food.

Yelp
We had a terrific lunch here today. The vegan options are usually boring but not here. The pita was chock full of yummy hummus and different things (olives, roasted red pepper, roasted beets and arugula) so each bite was a little different. The iced tea was yummy and tasted homemade and even the side salad that came with the sandwich was terrific. To top everything off, the women behind the counter were cheerful and nice. Other people who visited here and complained about service perhaps got staff who were new. Today they were efficient and knowledgeable.

Yelp
My go-to spot in GB for lunch. Great for something quick or to sit down with a friend. Awesome sandwich specials and I especially love the soups and the salads in the case. Plus amazing lattes/pastry's. Good music and ambiance and friendly staff! Can't go wrong here

Yelp
Everything from here is delicious. The pastries are fresh and imo so much better than the French pastries down the street. Sandwiches are really good - the prosciutto one and the Brie one especially.
