Yelp
I found this place based on a lot of great reviews. It surely did not disappoint.
The place is a little hard to locate on Google Map and please rely on road signs rather than Google Map when you are trying to find it.
I was greeted by a poster with my name and detailed instructions. Sarah was not here when we checked in but we met the housekeeper, Rachel, who was super nice. The check-in process was easy and the room was spacious, cool and nice, with an awesome valley view!
I was very touched by every thought Marjorie's Kauai Inn offers. We are greeted with fresh water (both bottled and filtered), a tray with cheese strings, chocolates, freshly baked apple pie, and fresh fruits in the fridge, and juice (two green teas, and two juices). The view is simply amazing and I can never get tired looking at it.
Another stunning fact about this place is the breakfast. Sarah put so many thoughts into the breakfast and for us, it has raspberry coffeecake (it was really really good), sweet pepper and tomato fritatta, yogurt, fresh fruits, hard-boiled eggs, granola, freshly baked bread with butter and jam, as well as mango nectar juice. Everything is freshly made and nice. We really enjoyed it with the amazing view. You also got to know other guests as you are sharing a big table.
The only thing we are disappointed at is the hot water did not work and the door kept popping open even if we locked it.
Will highly recommend this place as it is very affordable with great service compared to other options in the island.
