Market Market is one of the best vintage/thrift stores in Palm Springs. It's uniquely and meticulously curated. Each section of the market seems like a rented space for artists/business owners to sell their wares (clothing, jewelry, etc.) and furniture. Trust me, if I had an unlimited budget, I would have bought more! Ended up buying a beautiful pair of black cowboy boots. I should have also bought the beautiful white pinstripe shirt. Thanks to Amy for her help. Can't wait to come back again!

My girlfriends and I love vintage/antique shopping so we were excited to check this place out, but wow, Market Market is the definition of overpriced thrift. The staff are unfriendly and snooty, which only adds to the disappointing experience. Most of the items are low quality junk, just styled to look high end. Case in point, old Champion hoodies for $158. Like, huh??? If you’re hoping for reasonable deals or true vintage finds, you’ll be frustrated here. Home goods? Forget it. Prices are sky high, and with so much overpriced filler, it’s nearly impossible to spot any genuine quality pieces. There are far better options in the area. I highly recommend checking out “Antique Galleries of Palm Springs” instead. Their items are clearly labeled with history and details, and their prices are very reasonable. Don’t be fooled by Market Market’s curated aesthetic, it’s smoke and mirrors for a massive markup.

Wonderfully curated vintage market/antique store with so many amazing treasures 🌟 An amazing selection of vintage furniture, collectibles, clothing, and so many other one-of-a-kind items! ✨ It's more like a museum. Each sellers section is set up so beautifully. You flow through the space so effortlessly. It used to be a grocery store back in the day. They even have a little grocery store with a great selection of wine. The staff was incredibly nice. I would definitely make this a must see on your list of places to stop by while visiting Palm Springs. It brought me great joy to visit and wonder through this sweet space. 🌼

Google
Treated like a shoplifter by creepy lady in red, she lingers around you, smiling. Things are also very overpriced. I could find the image below on an average curb in the landfill, it’s priced at 1000. I pity the rich person who buys this. So brown and rusty… Vintage doesn’t mean you can price it above it’s worth.

Market Market is a fun and inviting new style department style store in Palm Springs! Love the PSBS bottle shop, local vendors, and unique vintage pieces. Great energy and vibrant mix of Palm Springs style - always worth a visit! 🌴✨ Fantastic Plaza vibes too! Stop by Bar Cecil for and SUPERBLOOM next-door if you’re in the area.

Google
Wow! If you are looking for some high end vintage, this is the place! The furniture was museum quality. I think the Outpost on Indian Canyon is thier sister store (more of a maker vibe) but excellent offerings. Both very fun.

Google
Super cool thing to do with an old department store! Lots of diff shops by diff vendors in one place. The prices vary but mostly higher end for original clothes and one of a kind furniture. There are dressing rooms. Super cute little fancy small run foods, drinks and gift shop but wouldn’t call it a grocery store as they do.

Walking through the mission style front entrance, you may pick up on the mouth watering aroma of Mexican street food coming from ‘Tacon'Todo’ on your left, a really nice touch. The vibe was cool, unique, and visually stimulating right away as I walked into this wide-open, creative space. I felt like I was given the option to flow freely toward anything that spoke to me, as opposed to being funneled around on a pre-determined pathway. I was so impressed with the robust variety of goods available for purchase, in every vibrant color, rich texture, and original design you can imagine, from art and high fashion apparel to furniture, accessories, and even a few surf boards! So cool. What really impacted me most profoundly though was seeing all these incredibly talented creators and vendors coming together to showcase their work collectively and thrive as small and growing businesses in Palm Springs, CA! I hope you all explode with success here in our beautiful desert and around the world!

Yelp
Overpriced vintage store, that's pretty much it. You'll find old raggedy Harley Davis Tees for $240 and rusty stadium seats (with bullet holes) for $600. Oh and by the way, I was followed around the store by a tall white employee who kept locking eyes with me in hopes of fulfilling his preconceived notions of a POC.

Yelp
The selection here is similar to a co-op or Fred Siegal. Up-cycled clothing and items at the higher end. Not for the thrifty foot looking for great bargains. It's a nice spot if you're looking for higher end items. There eas no service that I saw. No one around or greeted us upon entering the store. Folks were enjoying beverages in the middle of the store at a bar. That was the extent of my interactions with staff. Not my jam, but possibly yours.

Yelp
Sensory overload for me as a male. Cool collection of Vintage Clothing, Shoes, Jewelry and accessories. Very clean and well organized and merchandised. We will return when in the area.

Yelp
This was such a unique place. I loved the mixture of well curated vintage items, new items that were high end and/or custom created my artists. Super eclectic and like no place I've been before. It was so fun to peruse through here-- it seemed they had a little bit of everything. We love a good antique mall. This had a bit of that feel, but definitely a few notches up. Expensive at times but mostly high value items. I'd definitely come back to see what's new next time we're in town.

Yelp
If you're a fan of vintage finds, Market Market might be for you. The store is reminiscent of a high-end thrift shop, where you can discover various eclectic items. It is spacious and divided into sections. Its creative arrangement, which looks stunning in photos, lured us in for a visit. However, I found the price to be relatively high for used items. While some new items are available, they don't stand out as particularly interesting to me. There is some musty smell inside the store, which might be associated with the vintage items. Again, this review is my personal opinion. I know many people love the charm of vintage items--it's just not for me.

Yelp
Well curated booths of vintage finds. It is a little expensive but a very pleasant shopping experience with some fun, unique pieces.

Yelp
very cool place i came across because of a car show event they had in the parking lot. i love the warehouse environment and selection of vintage clothing they have. fun to walk around

Yelp
Excellent establishment for a Vendor. The proprietor, James Morales has vision, style and taste. He has done an excellent job in presenting our NEOS Neon creations. Market Market was recently hi lighted in the LA Times. https://www.instagram.com/neos.usa?igsh=MWYwd281MDZjdGZ6ZQ==

Yelp
So happy I found this spot! Firstly, it's absolutely massive and kept me entertained for about 1.5 hours. There's so much to see in this space. Every "shop" has such a unique vibe, and I was in awe. The people working were so kind and chatted with me off & on throughout my time in the store. I ended up grabbing a purse, coffee table book, and some sunglasses. When I was on my way to check out, my flip flop broke. The people working were SO kind and helped me fix it so that I could walk home!! Now that is customer service! Definitely recommend checking this spot out. There's so much to see, and the service goes above and beyond. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
A decent amount of great finds but very pricey! Still loved it and came away with some great shirts, dresses, and sunnies!

Yelp
MARKET MARKET is an open, industrial space housing carefully selected, Vintage clothing. It's a fun place with carefully curated and presented lines. Loved what I found.

Jenn s.

Yelp
Incredible curation of vintage by all of the vendors. I've been so impressed with the quality and pricing for high end brand. I've bought Valentino heels, costume jewelry, dresses and knits. A must on every trip to Palm Springs!

Yelp
This place is truly fantastic for anyone seeking a higher level and design quality in their mid-century modern furnishings, housewares, and clothing. The selection is outstanding since this is such a large space, you could easily spend a few hours here. The prices are on the higher side, so you better expect that coming in, but if you want quality, selection, and high-design, you have to expect to pay for it.
google avatar

Susan L.

Yelp
Such an awesome vintage store that also includes hand crafted items, a bar, a bottle store and even a DJ... all in a very large space.
google avatar

Marissa S.

Yelp
Very cool atmosphere but everything is very expensive. Just know that everything is VERY expensive.

Yelp
Desert vintage never, ever looked cooler than this! If you don't know what desert style is, start here. In this huge store there are many smaller, themed boutiques. Vintage t-shirts, tiki gear, disco era rugs and lights, Mid-Century Modern furniture, original paintings, indigo blue die clothing, Hawaiian shirts, a wall of Barbie and Ken dolls to put up on the wall... It's all here! The show floor is spacious and clean. It's not a dingy thrift store or musty antique mall that you're used to. These are smartly picked out pieces, cleaned or restored. Many items are vintage, some items like some clothing are new Coachella/desert fashion type pieces by up and coming designers. The prices do reflect the expert curation. $100 vintage concert t-shirts and $150 vintage Hawaiian shirts can be had along with lamp from the 1970s for $500. Whether you leave the store with anything in your hand or not, you will be entertained. Market Market is run by the same ownership group that opened Mojave Flea. Both locations close rather early, at 5 pm each day so keep that in mind!

Yelp
Really amazing store!! Booths & decor is pretty spread out which is refreshing & tasteful! Most stores, especially antique stores seem to pack in merchandise. This store is more like a gallery with clothing & purchasable amazing items. Loved it!
google avatar

Kimberley K.

Yelp
A trending place to buy stand alone pieces for that room in your house that need a great accent. Repurposed and Vintage Clothing from independent designers. Love the "refreshed" look of many of the furniture pieces. Whoever did the staging, merchandising and displays for this store.. they are amazing. You can even get a beer and wine for anywhere from $6 to $9 and drink it while you walk around this massive warehouse space. Lots to see here. I second Gene's review.

Yelp
This store is a homerun. From Roche Bobois 1977 vintage to cowboys/cowgirls and Bianca Jagger furs, it's all at the former Stein Mart space. Consignment Meets Art Installation. A marvelous addition to the scene in Palm Springs!

Yelp
A favorite spot to shop when I am in Palm Springs. Lots of different vendors with things like vintage tchotchkes, upcycled clothes and art. Big and awesome set up so you can wander and see lots of fabulous finds.

Amy M.

Yelp
Store is absolutely fantastic, I loved all of the settings and the items they had for sale are in good condition. This was a fun store to window shop through because unless you are well off, being able to afford almost anything in there is not in the scope of a middle class shopper. This store seems like maybe it is set up for the rich tourists that come out to Palm Springs while visiting LA.

Yelp
IF you want a great selection of funky or vintage, this would be your place. It is a huge place with many different presentations by different sellers. The Mid Century furniture collection is fantastic. They have a both of vintage crystal jewelry and another of melamine collectables. Both have a selection which if breathtaking. They also have pop ups which are fun. My biggest recommendation is the alcohol area. It is a room like area, you may miss, but be sure you don't. The owners are the nicest guys. To me is seemed to be a unique collection of alcohol that you couldn't find in most places. in the center of the store is a bar with bar stools that sells drinks made with one of the selections, great for tasting, and you can try something different before you buy the bottle. The alcohol area also has some great gift items. Which I bought several of because Christmas is coming. I would have bought them anyway. Yes, most every thing is here is pricey, for my pockets. If you are looking for something special or are a collector, it would be totally worth it. Adriennes's review is unfortunate. I had the same thing happen to me with the person at the checkout. BUT, fortunately the manager came out and the person introduced me to him and I got all the answers to all my questions about space, consignment and pop ups.

Yelp
wonderful shopping experience. they have a lot of unique things and a cute . island flair. we bought a jacket with a dozen patches sewn on it, from 8 places we had visited and intend on going to the other 4 soon. very cute stuff

Brian F.

Yelp
Like so many businesses in Palm Springs that operate in the twilight zone. Posted hours on the door and website said open at 11:00 am but at 12:30 am it is still dark inside and locked up. There are minimal signs on the building identifying the business, as if it's one of those subleased Halloween costume stores. How these places can operate and pay the rent and utilities is a mystery. Sketchy.

Yelp
MARKET MARKET is from the same folks that brought Palm Springs the fabulous MOJAVE FLEA. A vast loft-like space that houses eclectic vendors from art and furniture to carefully curated vintage clothing and small one of a kind fashion collections. There is something for everyone here.

Yelp
This is an extremely high end gallery, not the vintage market we thought it would be. The space is beautifully decorated and arranged and they have some gorgeous merchandise but literally the cheapest thing I saw there was $86. When my husband inquired about dealer space for sellers, the cashier told us he didn't know if they had any. He told us that they offer consignment but gave us no details about that. I guess we looked too poor??! Will never go back unless we win the lottery.

Brad L.

Yelp
The concept is great - many varying artists, designers, merchants in one big space. I'm a larger corn-fed guy tho so nothing I liked fit me. If in the M to L range I would have purchased a few cool items of clothing. Bought some super aromatic wonderful lotion.

Pal E.

Yelp
Wow, this place is epic. So beautiful, clean and spacious. Great staff and awesome music playing. I saw everything from $5 bowls to $$$ museum quality furniture. Great vintage clothing, repurposed and recycled goods. Plants in stunning vintage planters and they told me a coffee shop is coming soon. It's truly the future of shopping experiences. I will be back.
google avatar

Gregory E.

Yelp
I had items on hold to buy- Stores that do not accept cash should not be allowed to operate. I left the items I had on hold. They have unique items but nothing special that can be found elsewhere in this area for extremely less.
google avatar

Yelp
LOVE this new store in Palm Springs! It's a beautiful space with great vintage furniture and clothes.

Dee D.

Yelp
Very stylish and interesting store with mixed new and vintage furniture, clothing, etc and a cool little market. I will be a regular.
google avatar

Jaycee C.

Yelp
Such a neat, beautiful vintage store! Great pieces of art and clothing, rare finds for sure. Make sure you go on payday! (;

Ray C.

Yelp
Positive, great space and interesting unique items displayed in a well thought out manner! Negative, staff was unwelcoming and uninterested in greeting customers! Was there around 5pm and the guy at the front just basically gave us a look of disdain and continued chatting with his co-worker! LA attitude do not belong here!
google avatar

Raymond B.

Yelp
What an exciting collection of interesting collected finds of many talented people with good eyes for enduring styles. There is also plenty of kitch, but if you found it here, it may very well be considered treasure. There's a lot of stuff here. Give yourself time to explore!

Cyndi M.

Yelp
Such a cool, cool place. A little pricey for my blood, but I bought a few, small things... and, got the most amazing chai I have ever had from Vagabond coffee inside Truly amazing!

Peter S.

Yelp
Just was shown place yesterday , from a friend who lives in Palm Sorings. The perfect place to sell, my repurposed clothing and Jewlery . Looks AMAZING

karen n.

Yelp
Individual booths without the owner being there, just a sales person that handles any questions and transactions. A bit pricey for me but some beautiful vintage pieces.

jacob a.

Yelp
Incredible product. This is vintage GOLDDDD. The pricing is insanely high so I can't afford anything but it's fun to look at all the fun pieces.

John B.

Yelp
Unaware of Market Market's hours, I arrived at a spacious empty parking lot at 10:30 a.m. Although I was a half-hour early the young lady arranging displays outside the entrance invited me in and suggested I take a casual stroll through the immense store. What was once the popular store Steinmart is now an unbelievably vast eclectic collection of quality collectibles, historical artifacts, vintage clothing, furniture and household accessories from various eras. Even a classic auto parked elegantly amongst all the above mentioned. Prices reflect the quality as this is not your average consignment store. Even the impressive potted cactus collection near the front of the store boasts prices exceeding a Ben Franklin. By the time I finished admiring almost every artfully arranged display the store was open for business and customers were arriving. I thanked the gracious young couple managing the store for allowing me an early solitary inspection of their spectacular collection and miraculously departed without buying anything.
